Introduction
It was only a couple hundred years ago when the Blood-Moon War, a war between the Humans and Demons took place. It seemed as though it was going to be the end of all of humanity, though something happened, something that seemed to be unthinkable. The Demons carried a virus within their saliva, for the most part, if you were bitten, then you were pronounced death within 3 days, but there were a few humans that were able to survive the poison within the virus, and with their survival they gained something called, Demon Aura. Demon Aura made the humans faster, stronger, and all around more physically fit than even the strongest humans. Though it didn't stop there, all of them was given unique powers that they could use willingly. They were the saviors and warriors for the Human army. Their most powerful weapons. Humans called those who gained Demon Aura, Shades, because whenever they used their Demon Aura powers at their highest limits, their eyes would begin to glow in even the darkest of nights.
The Humans won the Blood-Moon War, just as all economies failed, cities and towns fallen, and there had been a horrible decrease in the human population. But with this sacrifice, the number of Demons who entered the Human realm decreased as well. Humans had to start from scratch in order to rebuild society. Luckily, technology wasn't lost, and from it, Humans made technology better (within the places that was lucky enough to get their hands on it), and the world rebuilt it's cities and towns as they saw fit with the resources they did have left. Places like New York City, Tokyo, London, Toronto, Egypt, Paris, Hawaii, and a few other major cities became the homes of 'The World Leaders'(those who were chosen by the people to become the worlds government, in charge of trade, making the laws, and being in charge of their Areas), as well as the most civilized places of society, where trade and better ways of life could happen easily. As for smaller towns and cities, they became self efficient as possible with little help from the major cities, because of the loss of transportation such as cars, and airplanes, humans became dependent on Horses, Ships, and bicycles. As for the Shades, no one was accepting of them, causing them to be on their own.
Some Shades found themselves exiled by their families and towns, since they were seen as half demons, they were usually called monster or filth from there human brethren. This caused a lot of Shades to become angry at the human race, consuming their souls with Demon Aura, bend on killing all that provoked them. While peaceful Shades created a home for lost or exiled Shades, who wanted to do everything in there power to be accepted by their human loved ones, they created an organization called The Coven. They made a haven for other peaceful Shades, in a mansion within the safety of the Colorado mountains, which they called Coven's Manor. Here they were able to train their Demon Aura, and be accepting amongst one another. It wasn't long before Demons and Rouge Shades(what Coven Shades called evil Shades) started to try and attack Human cities and towns, though there were Human warriors who were able to keep cities and towns safe for a short while, some Demons and Rouge Shades were still too powerful for the Human Forces. The Coven saw fit that it was up to them to protect the humans, regardless of not being accepted by them. Cities and towns would repay the Coven Shades that saved them with money and livestock(aka food), but they wouldn't let them stay in their Inn's for too long, because they feared Coven Shades as they would fear Demons or Rouge Shades because of their powers.
The year is 210 R.H.E(Restoration of Humanity, Era) and The Coven became popular among Eyr'th(what humans decided to call new Earth after The Blood-Moon War), yet they were still seen as monstrous beings, even though they dedicated there lives to saving humans. They got a message from The World Leaders saying that there has been an increase in Demons spawning and attacking Cities and Towns, and they need squads to be sent to every Major City immediately. Though in that same, rainy day, a boy was found on Coven's Manor doorstep. He was crying, and dripping in dark liquid, which also stained his clothing. They took him in and he informed them that he was a Royal(one of the most powerful beings of the Demon Kind), and before they tried to killed him, he told them that he had obtained human emotions, which seemed unreal, though it was also strange that he was able to break through the barrier that surrounded Coven Manor that didn't allow Demons to pass through. He was aware that that was the only place he would be accepted, since he ran away from the Demon's realm not to long ago. They decided not to kill him and took him in. As a test, they put him in a squad with a few of the more powerful Coven Shades, and sent them all to New York City as a protective squad.
....Little does everyone know, the Royal's father is a very power Royal General, who is not pleased with his son's decision...because his son was suppose to be the one who'd be called The Destroyer of Man.
Important Races
Shades: Humans who have been bitten by Demons, and didn't die. Yet, they are changed once the infection takes its toll, they gain what's called Demon Aura, which allows them to use demon powers, and become more physically powerful then a normal human, their eyes begin to glow when they use more of their Demon Aura. A known Shade is usually out casted from society, or killed if they aren't careful. Some Shades begin to hate the human race, thus use their demon skills to try to kill them, while others try to show Humans that not all of them are evil. Those who protect the humans from Evil Shades and Demons call themselves The Coven.
Demons: Evil creatures born from the pits of Hell. Most of them are gruesome, foul, and bloodthirsty, with unspeakable power, these are the lower level demons. The Higher Level demons also known as Royals, are far worse...They are able to appear human, and being able to transform back into their demon form whenever they please. Royals are very deceiving, and are able to kill an entire city if they pleased, yet, they are not that stupid. Demons and Royals are able to enter the human realm and the demon realm, but only Royals can travel back and forth whenever they please, while Demons can only travel back and forth when the Moon is full.

The Royal: The Run-Away Demon who wants to help the Coven Shades in protecting the human race. No one knows what he is capable of yet, but he is suppose to be very strong. Yet, if he is seen as a threat to the humans it is up to the Coven Shade Squad to take him out. [Role taken by Boogeyboy]
Coven Shade Squad Leader: A veteran Coven Shade Member. Looked upon highly amongst the other Coven Shades, being on the force longer than the others. Seen to have a powerful Demon Aura, and brilliant in battle tactics.
Coven Shade Squad Second in Command: If all comes to worst, this Coven Shade Member would be the next Coven Shade Squad Leader. More so, this Shade Squad member has a lot of experience dealing with Shades and Demons, and is a good asset to the team. Also has a powerful Demon Aura.[ Role taken by birdguard]
New Coven Shade Squad Member: A new member of The Coven Shades. Though more than likely put on this Squad because of their strong Demon Aura, and could make for a good Leader, therefore placed with the other members, in hopes if learning the ropes. [Role taken by Esana]

2.) This will not be a happy-go-lucky type role play(then again, which ones are?). There will be death and hardships, for the most part, it will be seen as a mature role-play because of the gore, violence, and dramatic events. With that being said, no sex in the forum, you will probably be too busy for a relationship, but if you can make it work, so be it. Don't think this role-play will be depressing! Remember, we make the story what it is, depressing characters, makes a depressing story.
3.) There will be no God-Moding, every character will have it's limits, even mine. Also, original characters only, If I see a character that resembles Naruto, Harry Potter, or Frodo Baggins, they will be rejected.
4.) I WILL NOT reserve any characters, because I WILL NOT accept any characters that look as though they weren't well put together, if you tell me you take interest in this role-play I will keep an eye out for your character. If you have questions or concerns about your character, please PM me. I'm not a mean person, and I am willing to work with you if you wish it.
5.) At least 1 paragraph per post, I will be lenient with this rule, but If I see you ONLY posting 1-liners(Because every-now and then they are okay) I will confront you about the issue.

I think Rachel is going to become older so that you can become younger, so there isn't an awkward jump between you. I think you might just want to be bitten at 15 or 14, since pretty much you aren't going to age much over the short while you've been a Shade (And it's okay, its helping me work out the kinks XD)

I'm really confused right now. Okay, so I was bit at around 13, and then over 200 hundred years as a Shade, I went through puberty and in regular human years, I would be about 15 now. Should I change that to make her younger? xD Sorry for being so befuzzled....

Probably your current age is current for the most part. If you were bitten at 13, it would take you longer to age to appear 15, while for Rachel, who didn't age remained the same...Are you understanding at all, slightly? I know its a little weird, lol but that the life of a half-demon.

Well, the way that I always viewed it was once you get bitten at whatever age you get bitten you are pretty much stuck at that age. Yes you hair may grow longer, and you may or may not get taller, but as far as physical features, you remain the same. Or at least so far, since 210 years in Shade years isn't really that long.

Hi, I have a question....what exactly are the age conversions? Cause Rachel is 135, but 23, and I'm like 223, but I'm a teenager. Is that a problem...? Or is it just like the time that we were converted?
