Aina's Story

As the first sliver of consciousness moved through her mind, Aina was aware that this was not right. The sounds, the smells, the very taste of the air was off. Rolling off the bed onto her feet in a fluid motion, her gaze darted around, hostility and anger combined with blatant fear. This was not good. This was not good.

Though she was aware of the other being in the room, she was rather overlooking them. They were simply another prisoner, and would probably be of no help. No, at the moment her mind was busy an overwhelming worry for her bond. The emotional connection was still there, and rather sharp, so he wasn't far away.... He must have also been captured.

Stacey woke up rather slowly, becoming aware of her surroundings before she opened her eyes. Wait a minute, She thought. Something's not right...
