Alexandra placed her vision between the girl and the boy. They were having a slow conversation that lacked of words from both sides. She walked around to them to get a better look.
A smile arose from her lips, once again. "Hey. Don't mean to get in your guys' business, but how exactly did you get here?" Alexandra placed her eyes on both of them. "By car? Or plane?"
Zach put on his black and red obey snapback on and slowly walked outside his room. Two see three people talking. He laughed lightly "What's up everybody?" he played with his bracelet.
As for Ryan's anger issues... she didn't mind all too much. As long as he doesn't hurt anyone here and he's working on it. Nobody's perfect, after all.
Another boy comes up and asks what's up. Gas prices, she thought, but didn't say it. Being sarcastic with people she hasn't even really met yet wouldn't help her make friends. But she didn't know what to say.

"We think it will be good for you honey. Get your mind off of treatment for awhile. The doctor said you probably wouldn't have another one for a few months." her mother said in her 'I pity you' voice. "It's not like I don't have friends, or go out on the weekends. I have a life." she said softly. "We know honey but the hospital is practically your second home. We just though it would be good for you to get away and experience something different." her father added. "So love is going to be my cure all?" she said, a bit frustrated with her parent's logic. "No of course not, but it can't hurt right? Maybe you will meet someone...and..." "And WHAT mom? Fall in love? Get married? Have babies? The doctors said If I live past 25 it'd be a miracle, you heard them. So why send me somewhere to fall in love when I clearly don't have a future for it?" she yelled, storming off to her room. Her mother just looked at her father with pity in her eyes. They didn't tell her that they already signed her up for it and that she would wake up tomorrow in a different room.
Sydney took her medication and went to bed, too angry to say goodnight to her parents. She drifted off into a deep sleep and dreamed of herself on a date with a mysterious stranger. She wouldn't admit it but she DID want to fall in love, she just thought it wouldn't be fair to the other person. Sydney awoke that morning in another bed. 'I know my medications make me slightly crazy...but i'd know if I had fallen asleep here.' she thought. Looking around the room she saw a letter taped to her bedpost with her name on it. She opened it and read the letter: 'I'm sorry we let you go to bed angry. We hope you at least make some friends there if nothing else. Try to relax and have some fun. We love you very much.' Sydney balled up the letter and chucked it across the room, frustrated by her parent's choice. 'I'm not even allowed to make my own life decisions anymore? this is BULLSHIT' she thought angrily. After a few minutes seething she figured she'd try and make the best of it. She found her suitcase and opened it, finding most of her clothes and comforting knick-knacks nestled inside. She rolled her eyes and pulled out an outfit and jumped in the shower.
"How lovely. Seems like all three of us ended up the same way." Alexandra brushed her swift bangs to the side while biting her lower lip. "And here I thought, I got stoned or something last night and someone took me to their place."
She laid her soft blue eyes on Ryan for a while and release a small smirk upon her face. "I don't bite, you know. Unless you want me to."
Alexandra rolled her eyes at the boy dressed in street clothes. "You should take that back, bro. If we're all going to live together, we don't want to start any pointless wars."
And here I was trying to protect the leprechaun from the wannabe rapper. Can't be the tree huger for the rest of your life, Alex. There are boulders that are going to knock you out in a flash of a second.
Alexandra faked a smile as her bangs slid back in front of her forehead. "Don't get blood on the carpet. Looks too pricey for your appearance."
"Asshole." Alexandra let out between a breath out. She turned to the boy with the snap hat, and looked at him with for a while. "He didn't beat you up too bad."
Her hand rose to touch his face, but she held back. "Don't let him get to you. He's just an angry leprechaun looking for his pot of gold like everyone else here."
Alexandra's eyes shifted on the girl, standing there, and back to the beaten up boy. "My name is Alex, if anyone cares."
Sydney hopped out of the shower and threw on the outfit she had set out for herself. She picked up her copy of 'The Shadow of the Wind', and without putting any makeup on her face she ventured outside her room. The hallway was empty but she could hear voices in the distance. She assumed they were inside because they were clear as day. Instead of seeking out the voices she headed toward a balcony thinking that the fresh air would do her good. 'No use talking to new people when i'm still angry at my parents' she thought, feeling like a stereotypical teenager again. When suddenly she bumped into someone and quite literally almost fell over. Instead, her book hit the floor with a loud slap. She picked it up quickly and apologized to the guy. "I'm sorry. I should've been paying attention to where I was going"
"Brook." she pronounced softly to herself, like if she was trying to store it in her memory. "Cute name."
"I'll love to join you." Alex forced a smile on her face as she glance between Brook and the beaten up boy, who now was labeled as Zach Alvarez. "Pleasure to meet you, Zach. Even though it wasn't so peaceful."
"Let's go, before breakfast becomes brunch." She glanced over at Brook, and crossed her arms with hers. "You want to join us, slacker?"

Sydney could see he was visibly angry and she too resisted the urge to get frustrated. 'All I did was run into him.' she thought. 'Be nice. You don't know what happened so far this morning to make him like this. Maybe he's like you.' "I'm Sydney" she responded, admiring his Irish accent. "Thanks" she said as he smoothed the pages of her book. 'Maybe he's not so bad after all" "Seems like there's already drama brewing in the hallways. I'm so GLAD to be here" she said, putting a dramatic sarcastic emphasis on 'glad'.
Sydney laughed at his response. "I try to be nice, but sometimes people get the better of me. I've been told i'm quite terrifying when I'm mad" she laughed again lightly this time to show she was serious but also being playful. 'He seems so casual about his temper' she thought. The cruel smile confirmed her thought. "I'm here because my parents think I need more perspectives in life. Not necessarily NEW perspectives, just MORE." she laughed. "how about you?"
