Name: Neik Vallier
(pronounced 'Nay-eek/Nai-eek Valley-air')
Age: 20
Species: Human
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 180lbs
Appearance: Neik has dark, blue-black hair (in the right light) that is naturally unkempt, mostly around the sides and back of his head, while his bangs are rather long and more or less straight and even. His eyes are a vicious red, which makes him come off as rather "scary" or somewhat "evil", and ultimately gives him a very imposing image. He has fine features, with no facial hair or scarring. As for clothing, Neik normally wears an assortment of black outfits. His casual wear could be described as a simple light, open black shirt over a regular black t-shirt, and black cargo pants or shorts, finishing with black boots. His more common gear is that of a leather-based theme jacket and hem, also black, over his regular wear, topping it off with black leather gloves:
Voice: Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto)
Abilities/Skills/Weapons: Neik is one of the rumored "Swordmasters". He blends together an arsenal of sword skills and techniques with that of summoning magic, creating a unique style that, currently, only he can use; first taught to him by his late master, the last Swordmaster, when he was very young. This style is comprised of him channeling his magic into a space surrounding his person of around 2 feet in a 360 degree angle, and then summoning an arsenal of different swords for him to use as he desires, be them one-handed, two, large or skinny; the range is almost unfathomably infinite.
Once he chooses a weapon, he merely takes up its handle and the true form of the blade materializes; spawned into his hands from another dimension which is directly tied to his soul in the form of a contract, which allows him access to this arsenal. That alone is as far as this ability reaches, as it's merely meant to allow a true master of swords to always have access to whichever sword type he requires at the time. However, he does know a bit of basic magic, which he can combine with this ability for fairly amazing effects. It is an invaluable skill for sure, and can only exist with one individual at a time. Once that individual dies, the mantle is then capable of being taken up by another, given that they know how to form the contract between their soul and the realm which gives these blades their form.
Personality: Neik is a rather calm and serious individual. The term "kuudere" comes to mind, in that he usually comes off as very cold, blunt and cynical towards just about anyone and anything. That being said, deep inside, he harbors a general care for the world and those who are close to him. Not that he would ever care to admit it, even to himself. Aside from that general perspective of personality, Neik is regarded as somewhat of a genius in his craft. He is very intelligent, and more than capable than the average swordsman. He can be a very prideful man at times; never one to take a liking to being doted on, or even praised for that matter. Whenever someone compliments him, he normally labels himself as nothing more than a weapon, shrugging it off. He also uses that method to avoid having to answer a question that he doesn't want to answer. It's sort of a running gag within the group, as he only ever answers with that line when he simply doesn't want to be talked to, much less asked his opinion on a matter he doesn't care about, or when he feels that someone has complimented him. Obviously meaning that he will give his opinion on something he considers important to the situation. It's likely one of the very few humorous aspects of his personality. As prideful and uncaring as he is, he's not against respecting another's skills if they so happen to gain his approval. While he will berate someone for protecting him or "getting in his way" in combat, he is not against accepting assistance in areas that he isn't familiar with. In other words; his pride as a "weapon" only extends to that field. He won't be upset if someone can out cook him in the kitchen, or beat him at some kind of sport. He takes pride in his skills as a swordsman first, a warrior second, and everything else comes after.
History: Not much is known about Neik's past aside from him having been taught deadly techniques by the last Swordmaster, who died 2 years prior to recent events. Not even his allies know anything about him, other than his name and general personality. When one asks him about his past, he never chooses to get too detailed, only ever answering with a "yes" or a "no", and sometimes doesn't say anything at all. He chose that his past is of no real importance to those around him, and cares very little of it himself, save for the lessons he has learned throughout his training. Perhaps with time, he will share bits and pieces of his past to those he deems "friendly" enough. But until then, he remains a closed book.
