Description: Standing at a diminutive height, you'd think that Emilie's small stature would make her feel intimidated by everyone else. But even with her petite, slender body shape, she's not. Toned from now being fed healthier and from having to defend herself on the streets, she actually appears intimidating all on her own - even as small as she is and almost cat-like in her approach. She has big, innocent-looking brown eyes that fool you into believing that she's naive, a small nose, high cheeks, thin eyebrows, and full, soft lips. She has long, sleek brown hair that she always wears out and flowing with subtle layers styled in. Though she is a servant, Katerina keeps her dressed in some of her own gowns that she got tailored for the girl. There's a small scar on the right side of her forehead from an incident.

Coming from a life of struggle, poverty, and pain, Emilie does not take anything for granted. If you win her loyalty and her trust, she's there for you forever - no matter what. But if you win her hates, however, watch your back. Emilie is deadly in that department, having learned how to defend herself and fight others at a young age. She's very analytical of everyone and she watches your every move, a skill which she developed to be able to be at Katerina's side at all times. she has a horrible habit of going to the extremes when it comes to Katerina like when she saw Anton and Katerina go into an argument and she decided to throw him down to the ground with a knife at his throat. Luckily for her, he knows a thing called mercy. Also, she's used that ability even for the Queen, watching out for people who enter the castle and watching those who reside in the castle. And trust, her skills with knives have come in handy - she's killed plenty of assassins before they even realize she was there.

But she's still young and can be really sweet. She's actually innocent because she's not even as experienced as Katerina is in certain departments and there is a level of naivety. But that innocence and naivety should not be taken lightly because she's like a feral kitten; a certain combination of viciousness and sweetness both wrapped into a little girl that will gladly sink her claws into whoever she feels is threatening. One of the most prominent personality traits that she have is her mistrust of all men because of the sexual and physical abuse she endured on the streets. She's haunted by that fear of what happened to her and coupled with her mistrust of people in general, most people see her as this cold, detached and sarcastic young girl that needs to grow up. But only one person knows the truth to the girl with the big, haunting eyes - Katerina.

Emilie was born to poverty and her mother grew immensely ill after her birth. Growing up, despite the fact that they were so poor, her mother taught Emilie to love the finer things in life, claiming that Emilie was destined for it. By the time she reached the age of five and their family was still struggling to even have a meal every day, her mother was close to death. Emilie was very close to her mom and was held in her mother's arms as the woman passed while the girl slept. The next morning, Emilie awoke to her father claiming that he was going to burn the house down with all of them in it because he could not bear to live in a world without his one true love. Acting on complete fear and an indescribable desire to live, Emilie ran past her father - somehow being able to evade his grabbing her - and left the house, leaving him to burn alone with her mother's body. Ever since, it had been a life of survival for Emilie.

When she first came into the kingdom of Castle Fantasia, she lived and struggled on the streets. She found a love for cats and used their way of living to cope for the loss of her family. They were beautiful and graceful to her and she wanted more than anything to emulate them. She stole food whenever she could and learned to use weapons in order to get what she wanted. But sometimes she'd get caught and beaten by the merchants, which never put her off. She learned to treat her wounds and continued on her quest for food and sometimes, a nice place to stay. However, at the tender age of ten, a drunkard came to the tree that Emilie was sleeping under and because Emilie was so small, she couldn't stop him from raping her. That one event caused for Emilie to lose her trust in people, men especially, and taught her to keep her guard up. And ever since, she learned to never have her guard down.

When Emilie turned 12, she heard that the royal family were coming into the village for a visit and anticipated seeing them, hoping to steal some of their finery for herself and to sell something to buy good food. At the pastry shop, she saw a 14 yr old Katerina, dressed elegantly in a red color that enhanced the natural flush to her pretty skin, and Emilie decided to steal the small brooch that Katerina was wearing. She was almost successful save for the fact that Katerina caught her anyway. Instead of being mad, surprisingly, Katerina explained to her that the Queen had given it to her for her birthday the other day and that as appreciative as she was for the gift, Katerina honestly didn't need it. So, she gave it to Emilie on the condition that Emilie came to live with her as a servant. Naturally, Emilie saw the possibility of better clothing, food, and just a better life and agreed wholeheartedly. It didn't take much begging on Katerina's part and even though people of the village claimed that a young, naive Katerina would regret her decision, Katerina brought Emilie to the castle anyways.

Now, Emilie can only remember that she was with Katerina before the awakenings and still does not trust the Prince, even though she agrees that the idiot does love Katerina. And all she knows is that the Queen is asleep, leaving the castle in danger of scheming members. And she'll be damned if anyone takes advantage of that.
