The country of Thalmus is shared by two kingdoms. The North and The South. The North is known for their gentler hand. They rule their kingdom as if everyone is family. They are generally well liked and are in favor with their people. The South has similar views as the north. They are very for the people, but they keep the barrier between royalty and commoner. Their people have nothing against them and love them greatly, but they do not get the Family feel like the North. But unlike the North, the South is wealthier. The South Kingdom is rather stingy with their money and only trade with other kingdoms when the profits are high. The North are quite generous with their trading. Though their wealth is not as great, they have better relations with neighboring country kingdoms.
With a thriving kingdom, comes the group trying to overthrow it. They believe the Kings of Thalmus have ruled for too long. Instead of distributing the wealth among their people, they are selfishly keeping it for themselves. With a Robin Hood mind set, the rebels want to overthrow the kingdoms and end the monarchy. Some do want wealth and power, but others want equality among the people. The rebels have decided that they will resort to any means to get it. They have been subtle for years, but they have decided to stop coming out of the shadows. They are some rumors spreading in the kingdoms of these rebels, but they have not become much of a threat yet.
The plot for this is quite vague and that is how I wanted it. I wanted this to be something that is plotted for. There are rebels for both sides of the kingdoms. So they have different ideas for how to take over. But they are pretty much one unit. There will be a thread made for plot ideas and such. I won't make a relationship thread. I just trust that you all will discuss that among yourselves.
Rules
1. This is pretty much everyone's rule. But I am the GM. The Queen. I am the judge and the prosecutor. Any questions and major plot changes go through me. I am quite friendly and scary at the same time.
2. Follow RPG Rules. Obviously. Keep everything PG-16. When the clothes come off, you fade to black. No controlling other people's characters. I hate when people do this too me so I want to make sure this is emphasized. No killing off characters without permission.
3. All Reserves will be done in the OOC. When reserving please give me a gif and hex code. Major plotting will be done in OOC. Relationship discussion will be done both in PM and OOC. I'm not really picky about that. Please keep drama in the roleplay. Fighting Rpers does not make a good rp.
4. After I accept your characters reservations you have a WEEK to submit a completed character. That is rather generous. By a week I mean a full seven days. I won't give you a pre-made character sheet. I expect you all to make a decent one. Basics, Appearance, Personality, History, etc. You can reserve up to four characters. Of which two will be male. I need good ratios. No Mary Sues or Gary Sues. I have the right to reject your character.
5. I expect posts to have at least a picture of your character. I don't need it took look all elaborate and what not. Just an easy way to distinguish posts. You need to be able to post two/three times a week. I want this to live for a long time. Or at least until we run out of plot ideas. Each post cannot be any less than 300/400 words. It really is not that much. And that is enough to to get a decent response. No txt talk. I hate that. One liners are not tolerated. Anything less than 100 words is a warning. Bright colors aren't even looked at. If I have to adjust myself to read what you are trying to say, then it needs to be changed immediately.
6. Please have fun with this. This is my first time doing an RP like this and it would suck if everyone treats this rp like a chore and half ass everything. Any questions. Just let me know.
