Kyori's Noise was getting calm with concentration as he stood before the boar, under the prescence of Arie who was up in the tree above him. He glanced up at her once again before thinking to her, Don't come down. I got this.

It was a large creature, rather like a giant boar. (so she figured, again, she couldn't quite see) and though she was mostly blind, her aim was impeccable. she shot it in the nose. It hardly even noticed, as large as it was.
She was pleased, of course. the less It took notice of that particular attack, the better.
It was poison.
Pure, untainted poison.
It was a memory from her days with her half sister, Riana, who was a potions master, Riana now lived far off, but she and rio exchanged frequent letters, and unfortunately for the boar- packages.

The Tempest Boar whipped around and began lashing out, and each time, Kyori moved to slip just an inch or two out of the beast's reach. He spun one of his daggers in his hand, a habbit he had gotten into when he could see an opening to strike. Just as the hilt of the dagger correctly replaced itself in Kyori's grasp, he ducked, avoiding an arm swing from the monster and stabbed his dagger deep into the boars side, all the way to the end of the blade. Roaring furiously, the boar stepped back and blindly started swinging, just hoping to hit the person that was attacking him. But Kyori was already circling him, taking in what to do at the boar's hesitation.

It was cruel of her not to help any more, but she had to test his abilities.
besides she told herself The poison will kick in before the beast could really hurt him
As she observed, she evaluated his skills. He might even be as good as she was. He took a stab at him and Arie was almost impressed. were it a normal sized boar, and not one the height of several grown men, Kyori would have done it in. She watched and watched. he was actually pretty good.
wait, this is wrong she thought, remembering her previous dealings with the boar
when I fought it, It wasn't so... she looked for the right word restrained
then, realizing what was happening, Arie disappeared into the treetops.
Arie knew now something that would haunt her for the rest of her life
She had put Kyori in danger. As she silently made her may through the forest, she had one recurring thought
why do I care?

Where are you from? His Noise was loud and irritated, but also just out of breath as he and the boar was. It never lost its strength, though. The beast was surprised to hear the Potencias's voice in his mind, which made his stare in surprise at the teen. Who sent you? When a moment of silence went ticking by and nothing came from the boar's lips, not a sound or anything, Kyori scowled and pulled out his sword. It was a lot sharper than his daggers and he only used it to make him look more intimidating to others. His strength was more in his daggers than the sword. Kyori pushed the blade up under the creature's throat and his Noise almost yelled from the anger. Tell me!
Exhausted, in pain, and slowly dying, the boar grunted and shook his head as if he didn't want to tell. Kyori swore he was going to chop something in half if he didn't start getting answers soon. Before he could think something rude to say, the beast looked up with a tired expression and Kyori was able to catch a small glimpse of an image. An image coming from the creature. One in which the Tempest Boar is standing beside a human figure. The person looked about his heigth and young. Maybe a teen like him. But, the image slipped away before he could think anything else about it and the boar's chest slowly stopped moving.
Sighing heavily, Kyori forced himself to stand, sliding his sword back into his sheath. I think he's from the Dark Prince. This thought was directed to Arie, and as he turned to look up into the tree, he realized it was empty. Hesitating, his Noise started to fill with worry. Hello? Are you there? Nothing but silence answered back. Swallowing the lump in his throat, his bright blue eyes frantically flicked around, trying to find her. Just a glimpse of her. That was all he needed to reassure himself. He spun around, looking in every direction atleast twice. His Noise could be heard for miles and was filled with panick. The kind only reserved for the people that were cared for by the panicker. Where are you?!

He was her age, maybe a tad older. He was stern and his eyes were lifeless grey. His hair was black and cold, and his aura was enough to make a grown man cry.
He had been startled by the noise, and had let go of the unseen magic connections he had tied to the boar. His intention had never been to kill them with the boar and she knew that now. The boar was a distraction. An effective one at that. As the cloaked figure regained focus, he drew a dart from his pocket, with an intent to throw it. she had seen him use a dart like that before. On one of the animals he was training. I was the size of an elephant, and it died on the spot. evidently he had meant the creature as an example to the other, for it was certainly not going to behave any better now.
And he intended to use that on Kyori! she was desperate, and unsure of what to do. Still hidden, she drew her bow. she was to far off right now for an attack with her sword. Her right, non dominant hand shook. stop shaking, stop shaking! There was no way she could him like this, not where she needed too. She drew her throwing knives, each and every one. she only needed one hand for this. And she threw them all, one at a time. the first hit his left eye, the second his right. the third his right leg and fourth his left arm. finally, not wanting even him to suffer, she walked to him, and slit his throat.

He nodded towards the body before glancing up at Arie, his eyes not as wild and crazy as they had been before. Who is that?

Did he need to know what had happened?
she scolded whatever part of her brain had processed that thought. Of course he did.
"He was keeping the boar on a leash, leading him around. and he was planning to kill you, while you were distracted by the boar. He is one of the dark ones underling's helpers. And he is very cruel." she was confused by his noise. did he worry about her to? the same way she worried about him? and was he confused by it as well?
she sighed. She didn't exactly like to kill, but she was glad that he was gone.
"His very eyes are cold and thoughtless. not like yours at all. their-" she stopped. did she actually say that? she would pretend she didn't and hope he didn't notice.
"we're safe now, no one else is here. unfortunately, that includes Rin. The scream was a half a mile that way." she explained. the boar had driven them a bit off course, and they had gone a tad more west than they should have.
"lets go." she said, now simply walking. If he chose to run she would speed to keep up, but otherwise, the slow pace suited her just fine.

He sat letting out another sigh. What the hell was with them? Was it that hard to walk two miles? He let out a groan and began to play with a ball of fire, toying with it as it hovered in the air. Truly this was a waste of his valuable time. He didn’t want to have to look for the spoiled princess. If she had… assists he would love to help. The girl even lacked a butt! What kind of girl is as flat as a board? The only thing big on her is her mouth!
She probably wasn’t too bad, but he wouldn’t admit that until she showed him proof and crying didn’t really cut it as proof… maybe if she got some hips..? He thought tiredly as he continued to play with the fireball, his dark hair falling in waves down his shoulders.

He followed after her, eventually matching strides with hers and walking beside her. His eyes stared straight ahead, his Noise still buzzing around with his emotionally happy mood.

He heard footsteps the obviously weren’t trying to conceal themselves which meant one or both of the two showed up… about bloody time. He knew one was going to be the older girl, he was sure she said her name, but he didn’t really remember, but someone would say it sooner or later and than he would learn it.
The flames continued to dance, now taking different shapes, that of birds, tigers, bulls, and whatever he could think of, but he had to use both hands now to shape and control the burning flames.

Well, my father was a soldier when there was a queen and king, and when he found out about Rin and Len, he introduced us and we just became close friends. He looked up at Arie, his irises a shade duller. His lips flattened into a hard line as he continued to twirl the dagger in his hands.
