Side effects: Maddie hasn't explored much of her powers because when she exerts herself it gives her severe migraines, and hinders her sight. Despite the pain, her powers seems to be strongest when she endures it, and preforms through the side effects.

Personality: Matilda is a lover of the arts and anything that has a vivid and moving story to tell, that is why she often spends her free time on tumblr reblogging her favorite artists and ordering prints and t-shirts. Maddie is genuinely pretty nice but has no patience for jerks or obnoxiously loud, bubbly or judgmental people.
Back story: Maddie new for quite some time that she was not normal. She'd seen things levitate around her house when she was alone and turned a few of her older sisters favorite band-tees into ash. For some reason Maddie never that she was the stem of the magical feat, she'd always thought her families abode was haunted by some sort of elusive poltergeist.
Maddie's Mother shipped Maddie off to Cerestra happily when the two heard they had a reasonable tuition, gorgeous campus and most importantly a great education and amazing orchestra program Maddie could enroll in that would almost guarantee her a spot in the New York Philharmonic and Tisch University after graduation.

Reason for hating Angels:
As a child Matilda lost her Father to a totally unexpected heart attack but before his death he was very involved in her life and her activities. He often read her stories of angels who were obnoxious, cocky and belittling of demons although their powers were evenly matched. Maddie remembered always feeling bad for the demons, and resenting the angels for thinking they were so much better than everyone else.
Dee looked about at the front of the castle-looking school. She noticed all the appearing people. She walked over to a girl, Matilda, "Hello. I am Desurai, but please do call me Dee." She said smiling. Dee's blue wavy hair waved lightly in the nice breeze. Dee's bright blue eyes shimmered in the sun. She saw all the cars parked in the parking lot seeing so many people.
