The air was thick with tension as those brave enough to combat the monstrosity closed in on it. Lerst, being brave but not stupid, knew to stick behind the fearsome looking veer. His cautiousness turned to proud carelessness however when he saw the creature frantically fleeing. "Ha, ha! Run you coward!"
Lerst was at a loss for words when the crowd casually dispersed. Surely, this couldn't be a normal event. The veer that he didn't acknowledge he was hiding behind was combing.
