Personality

Emily is very quiet, keeping to herself seeing as she is surrounded by people who are losing their minds and she is struggling so desperately to keep hers in tact. She keeps away from the other patients though she wants to hold some form a friendship with them. She is unsure how to do that as she has been a part of St. Marcus longer than most of the other patients. One could say she was a veteran and has seen many come and go (and by go, she means vanishes) and therefore tries not to trust or keep ties with others. She is an introvert.

Emily can be really sweet if she ever does talk. She worries about everything, mostly the younger patients despite the fact that she doesn't know them. She has been a fighter, a survivor here and she hopes that the others will be the same. If she ever reaches out to another patient, it is a miracle.

Emily despises the doctors but has learned not to struggle when they run their tests. She tends to play with them at times and this gets her in a world of trouble. She is mostly bound to her room, and forbidden from going outside when other patients are allowed. They fear her escaping.

Equipment

She holds nothing, though at one point she managed to grab hold of a scalpel and stabbed a doctor with it.

History

Emily was born in a loving environment but she does not remember much of it. She began developing her power at the young age of 5. She had owned a cat and happened to be playing with it. She wished she could be a cat and before she knew it, her mind had begun sending messages to her muscles, her cells, and she began to morph into her cat. Her parents watched in horror as their little girl sprouted fur and became a feline. They immediately shipped her away to St. Marcus and Dr. William Godfry happily took her in. They began experimenting on her instantly, actually shaving her bald and drilling into her brain to poke and prod.

Emily has been there ever since, playing tricks with the nurses by shifting into a rat and startling them, or having vanishing acts. They have managed to create an anklet that sends vibrations and a high pitched sound that causes her mind to ache and makes her unable to shift. She now fears for the worst seeing as she cannot use her powers.
