Are you afraid of the dark, I wonder?
He used to be a kind and positive young chap, and was so for many years before the hospital finally broke him down. These days he's close to sociopathic - uncaring and unsympathetic, but not necessarily cruel. His mood tends to swing from slightly aggressive irritation to the calmer and more depressed, but he remains talkative and easily interested. One might say he's still got a shadow of his old self in there somewhere, though he has undoubtedly changed since he first came here.
When it comes to testing and experiments, Jeremy has gone from desperate fighting to quiet acceptance. He's realized after all these years that there is nothing he can do about the matter, and has somewhat given up on trying to fight it off.
Carries with him a small and broken fob watch with an unreadable description on the back, as given to him by his loved ones.
Jeremy used to be very, very afraid of the dark. He used to claim that the shadows moved when he was alone in his room at night, which was originally looked upon as complete balderdash by his parents. That is, until the shadows started to move with him, even on the sunniest and brightest day. His fear later grew into fascination, as he begun to accept this phenomena as a gift rather than a frightening coincidence. This did not go well with his parents at all, and at the age of ten he was sent to Godfry's hospital, in the hopes that he could learn how to better deal with it - and to get him out of the way.
Ten years later, the only word he has had from home is that his parents has moved on and started a new life without him somewhere else. He knows he's got a sister, undoubtedly uninformed of his existence, who is very normal and not at all fascinated by the dark, thankyouverymuch. It took him many years to break, despite his initial fear and longing for home, but he has passed the limit between sanity and insanity, and is slowly moving deeper into the madness as the tests progresses.
