"Run, just keep running!" Sam screamed, that's All they really could do. The explosions were getting way too close, shrapnel kept pelting Sam in the face and eyes. The enemy's mortars had them zeroed in and quickly turned four hundred men into thirty. They also used some kind of laser that turned everything to ash. It soon turned into every man for himself, because every mortar is trying to finish off his team. He turned to see his friend tackled by enemy spec-ops. Sam slowed own screeming "No, let me through I have to help him!" But the soldiers that were left grabbed Sam, kept him up and running away from the enemy fire. Being dragged backwards by his arms, Sam caught a glimpse of the cannon that shot the laser killing the general. It was charging up and directly on these survivors. Sam felt everything slow down, all was silent and a tear ran down his cheek. The dirt, blood, sweat, rubble, shrapnel, explosions, everything just stopped and Sam knew that his life was over.
Sam shoots up out of his sleep and slammed his head off the glass that covers his entire body, screaming but quickly realizing it was just a dream. "Was it a dream? Why am in a sleeping chamber? What the hell is going on!?"
