Adonis Raustenberg was once a kind and chivalrous king, but soon after he obtained the Etherblade he had a sudden change of heart. The blade was enchanted with a powerful spell that granted it's wielder immortality. Seeing this as a way to maintain his rule forever, he declared war against the Azalian Empire to establish his rule as the next Zodiac King. Now however, in his tainted state, he has become a rather cold and harsh man, making him quite difficult to befriend.

Likes: Being immortal(only way to kill him is with a Legendary weapon.), and the rest is a mystery.
Dislikes: Commoners, the Zodiac King controlling him, and the Azalian Empire. (hasn't forgiven the Azalians for killing his wife 10 years ago, before Empress Xia's reign.)

He wields the legendary Etherblade, an immortality-granting blade that once belonged to the Zodiac King. Apparently the Zodiac King had sealed his spirit in this blade with his last breath and has now possessed Adonis' body. When the Zodiac King asserts control over Adonis' body, the sword reacts to the Zodiac King's presence, giving off an aura that can be changed between Light and Dark at will.

Etherblade: This legendary blade of immortality once belonged to the Zodiac King, having become a home for his spirit when he was assassinated...10,000 years ago. His spirit was released from this prison when Adonis found the blade in some ancient ruins. Supposedly the ancient ruler who once wielded it was killed with Anti-Immortal weapon.

Adonis Raustenberg is the king of Nelgaia, and a powerful warrior. Having obtained the Etherblade four years ago, he has been possessed by the Zodiac King's lingering spirit. As time goes on he loses more and more control of his body to the Zodiac King, who seeks to reclaim the world of Aznel. In addition to Adonis personally having something against the Azalian Empire...blaming them for the death of his wife, the Zodiac King fuels Adonis' anger as he himself leads the Nelgaian army to take over Azalia. It is unknown whether there is a way to free Adonis from the Zodiac King's possession, but Adonis seems to be searching for a way to do so.
