Nikki doesn't just love boxing, she's obsessed with it. Though she lives in the dorms she's managed to hook herself up with stolen pay-per-view so she can watch every match. Her parents don't know this and still pay for her to have cable giving her extra spending money that she's used to put in a weight bag and a speed bag.

While she may be the stereotypical tomboy she's also very shy and reacts violently when forced into situations she's not ready to deal with. (More than one boy has walked away from asking her out with a black eye.) She's even violent towards the people she likes, the little arm punches others give in greeting tend to leave bruising when coming from her. When not busy with her training she can often be found either shadow boxing or hardening her hands via damaging them against the school's brick walls. (teacher's keep telling her to stop but they can't do anything since she's not damaging school property.)

She's very protective of others and shows no hesitancy in smashing someone's face in (male of female) if they're bullying another person.
