History

Born as the rightful heir to the Russtaia throne, from a young age Egan disagreed with his father on the governance of the kingdom. His father King Edward was a noble man and the kingdom flourished under his rule. But today no one remembers Edward as Egan has had the kingdom under his thumb for ages. When Egan hit age 20 he had enough of his fathers "for the people attitude" and assassinated him making it look like an accident allowing him to take the throne and begin his reign of tyranny, in his first year as king he had the Colosseum built and the games started. Since then the games have been a yearly tradition..or rather a law.

The people have long waited for the king to die of old age but time and time again birthdays pass and the king still lives while others die. While the citizens of Russataia have had three generations of children and grand children grow up the king still lives as if he is in his prime. This is due to something that only exists as rumor among the common folk though those closest to the king know for sure. Egan was attacked by a jet black tiger at the age of 14 when he had ran away to the forests in anger. The tiger could of killed and ate him, but instead it took one swipe across Egans chest and ran away. The attack left Egan with more then mere scars however. He became a Werebeast and was uncontrollable for the first four years. Certain times of the day his father had to lock him in the dungeon while he transformed as to not hurt anyone. He was 19 when he wrestled control of the curse, able to transform in to a black tiger and back at will. Werebeasts of any kind live for up to 1000 years, any hoping to see the king die naturally will be waiting a long time.
