Name: Vincent Roberts
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Race/Nationality/Species: British and French heritage, has dual citizenship for Canada (where he was born) and Great Britain.
Orientation: Heterosexual
Personality: Like any person, varied. Typically though, he's quite talkative, showing his strong devotion to politics. He can slip into rants when he gets passionate about a topic, but on stage he tries to keep his talking more concise. Humorous sometimes, charismatic, and passionate are the things people usually see, but there is a side to everyone that often remains hidden, and that's a side he's let very few people see.
Occupation: Major global political figure, business owner, and sometimes controversial person. He is the party leader of the Nobis political party (a party he created), and the owner and President of his business, Britannia Incorporated (sometimes referred to as Britannia Industries).
Education: Highschool education in Canada, along with some post-secondary education in Political Sciences, Economics, and Business Administration in Canada as well. Traveled to Britain to attend Cambridge to enhance these studies further, and earn more credibility for himself. Spent much of his youth engaged in discussions about politics, economics, and business.
Factions: His political party, Nobis, and his business as well. Outside of the circles he's made, he has little affiliation with anyone else, preferring to act as a bit of a "political lone wolf". His company has several different areas of business (manufacturing, tech development, etc.), but among them is a Private Military division, with soldiers and other employees that consider themselves quite loyal to him.
Religion/Philosophy: Christian of the non-denominational variety. Believes very much in the ideals of loving thy neighbor, and has publicly denounced the ideas of forcing Christian morals on other people. To this end, he sometimes supports policies that could be considered controversial, both by Christians and non-Christians alike. As for philosophy, he considers "identity" and political ideology to be dangerous, toxic mindsets. Believes strongly that individualism and rationalism in making policies is more important.
Political Ideals: An ardent believer in his philosophical values, Vincent considers Nobis to be the only rational way for the world to be run. A focus on individualism, and collaborating as a species towards a better world for everyone. But it isn't all just nice thoughts. After his party was elected in Canada, numerous economic policies were brought in that helped save many businesses during the last recession, and has even helped to create higher standards of living for the citizens through raising the minimum wage. He's been called a Nazi by some, a Communist by others, but he maintains that he is strictly against traditional political ideologies and identities, which he considers (in his own words) "cancerous".
Biography: Vincent was born in Vancouver, Canada. Without saying too much, his childhood was a bit tumultuous. He came from a family of wealth, but it was all built by his uncle. When his uncle passed away and the fortune came to his father, it was drank away rather quickly. This, however, also came to an end when his father died when Vincent was only 11 years old, due to a drunk driving incident. The family remained poor for a while, and Vincent had to learn how to work alone. He went to a small college in his home country, learning about economics, politics, and business management, things he had spent many of his teenage years already researching.
Part way through his college education, he left to Great Britain on a transfer, where he sharpened his knowledge further in these areas, and began making new contacts. At some point in this time, a currently "anonymous benefactor" began helping him financially, to help him secure some of his own goals. By age 23, Britannia Incorporated was formed, and by age 25 it was already pulling in a profit as a multi-billion dollar company. They manufactured industrial goods, green technology, "ethical" cybernetics, and had begun working on a Private Military Division.
Using his private military, Britannia Inc. had begun to move into several countries in Africa and South America, where they managed to (with support from locals) stabilize the regions militarily, and quell a great deal of the violence that existed. At the moment they are mostly active in West Africa, Mexico, and several South American countries, but their presence has ended a great deal of strife, has allowed many Canadian businesses (and businesses from a few other countries as well) to go in and start operations of their own.
This move was viewed as controversial, and still is, but Vincent has worked to ensure these companies pay fair wages, and help with the development of these regions. This has proven to be a huge boost to the economy of Canada, and these countries as well.
At age 26, Vincent Roberts had started the Nobis Political Movement, and by 28 they had been elected throughout Canada. He's now successfully established the party in several other countries (including Great Britain) and seems to be moving toward establishing a new political and economic union. Some are accusing him of imperialism, of globalism, and of being the next terrible dictator to try for world power. But the economies of the places where Nobis has power have improved, standards of living are on the rise, and violence seems to be getting more under control.
Will Vincent be a Kind King, destined to save the world? Or will his own selfishness and narcissism create another despot?
Skills: Good public speaking skills, sometimes manages to be both entertaining and educating to his audiences while talking politics. Has proven to be adept at running his businesses (with advice and input from loyal employees and advisers), but also has shown himself to be capable with tactics and military planning with his Private Military (again, with advice and input). Capable firearm user and has skills with swordsmanship, a pass time he quite enjoys. Is also known to have some skills as an actor, though almost only stage acting, which he seems to prefer.
Transportation: His car
Home: An apartment in London (Great Britain), as well as another one in Vancouver, and a privately located manor estate in British Columbia, Canada.
Likes: Efficiency and effectiveness (in business, politics, and life), proactive people, kids, business, politics, dark teas, classical things (art, architecture, furniture, etc.).
Dislikes: Anything that wastes time/resources/human life, child abuse (of any kind), drugs/alcohol/cigarettes (does not use any of these three), identity politics and essentially all political ideology(ies) (he doesn't exactly consider his beliefs an "ideology").
Weapons: A variety of swords, pistols, etc. Some of these were not legal until gun laws concerning "grandfathered weapons" were changed, but he did acquire them afterwards. The swords he owns include cavalry sabres, long swords, rapiers, and even a katana or two.
Clothing: Fine suits, blue, black, tan, and even a few grey ones. For more casual wear, he enjoys hip length jackets (quite often leather), with dress shirts on beneath, and either black pants (sometimes jeans) or perhaps some tan "Dockers".
Powers: No actual powers or magic that are known, but he can be quite persuasive at times. Not a genius by most conventional definitions (science, math, etc.), but his keen sense of "problem solving" with political issues and his ability to charm certainly can be called his powerful qualities.
Augmentations: None that are publicly known, either cybernetic or genetic.
Picture: Vincent
Appearance Description: His skin is not bleach white (as the image may indicate), but rather your typical peachy color of a Caucasian person. Also, the suit shown is not one he wears. He usually stays away from "bold" colors and patterns like that.
