City street. In transit.
Svenalia tries to keep a calm and collected exterior, but beneath her serene surface she was constantly in some sort of panic. Despite her outward appearance Sven was actually quite skittish and bird-like, if not a little clumsy.
In Sven's handbag she keeps a small hand gun, nothing too bulky or fearsome. She also keeps a switchblade tucked into her garter, just in case.
Svenalia Kiscilov was born in St. Petersburg. Her childhood was uneventful for the most part, growing up in an overcrowded orphanage. Living in poverty for the vast majority of her life, when she came of age she chose to seek her fortunes elsewhere. Migrating to the united states, Sven found out quickly that one could easily achieve the American Dream, if one was willing to disregard the law as mere guidelines than actual rules. She became a habitual smuggler of whatever jobs she could get, be it booze, drugs, or even people, if the price was right. Her questionable employment gave her the means to create a very comfortable life for herself , and she lived in relative happiness for five years. That is, up until she got caught. The detectives who caught her threatened to report her to Immagration, and get her deported. The thought of going back to Russia and her old poverty stricken life frightened her greatly, so she did the only thing she could think of. In exchange for letting her stay, she would turn over any and all information about the criminals she worked for. That made the authorities let her go for the time being. The only problem was, when taking a job, she never asked questions, she never asked names. So now she had to find criminals of her own, gain their trust, and turn them in. If she couldn't do that, then she would be sent back to Russia. Sven couldn't let that happen.
