Olivia was passed out on her bed, she had gotten but a few hours of sleep the night before as she had taken off to go racing with her baby as she did every so often. As always, Azazel and Tomás had already left to school while she was still under a heavy sleep in bed. Her leg hanged on the side of the bed and her sheets covered her almost entirely except from her misplaced leg, unaware of all the ruckus that Azazel and Tomás may have caused early in the morning.

The third alarm went off, filling her room with loud sounds that disagreed with one another. The first alarm was jamming to Joan Jett's Bad Reputation while the second one, a loud siren from the first Silent Hill movie, cancelled most of Joan's voice. And now, the third and last alarm, a Papa Roach song, threatened both with it's powerful tune. Just as the third alarm repeated itself by the third time. Olivia growled and scoffed, slowly crawling out of bed to turn off all the alarms that she had strategically placed far away from her reach forcing herself out of bed.

She was still under sheets, holding onto the cool fabric as best as she could even as she slammed the first alarm to her wall, right next to one of her Skillet's poster, the sound coming to an end only after the collision. The second one did not fare as well as Joan did, Olivia could not turn the devious device and in frustration threw it to the floor with tremendous force. Sure, she had managed to turn the infernal device off but she had also broken her last spare clock alarm of the week. Papa Roach was the one who got the better treatment out of the three; by the time Olivia reached the third alarm she set on her iPod, she had already calmed herself down and had managed to turn it off as a civilized person would.

Finally, without no further tantrums or delays, she headed towards the shower. Only after noticing the time she let out a sigh in frustration, she'd be late for her first period. 'What else is new' she wondered before she took a quick hot shower. To be completely honest, she could not deny she was mildly pleased, mostly because she wouldn't have to bump with Azazel, or as she often called him, Rumplestilktskin. On the other hand, her sworn brother, Tomás was someone she loved deeply. Ever since she had been living there the two had become almost as if attached by the hip. She loved him greatly despite his closeness with Rumple.

And so, after finishing her hot shower, she quickly changed unto her outfit and began prepping herself up, only leaving her room after she was pleased. Finally, after packing up all the things she would need for the day on her backpack, sahe headed outside. Olivia did not know if Azzel and Tomás had already left, but after noticing the time on her cellphone screen she was very certain they had; after all, the demon was many things on Olivia’s head but unpunctual was not one of them. Regardless of whether they were still around or not, Olivia would have done the same. Instead of carpooling with her sworn enemy and her roommate, she immediately hoped on her baby and headed towards school.

An all-abiding citizen would have probably taken twice the time Olivia had made while driving to the high school. Liv would have slowed down, getting another speed ticket was the last thing she needed, but the idea of getting detention one more time had lost its charm a long time ago. Of course, it didn’t help that she was already late for school and that her chance to get breakfast at school depended on how how much pressure she applied to the accelerator.

Finally, after flipping off a handful of other drivers who pissed her on her way school, she had finally managed to arrive to the high school. Olivia parked on her usual place and put her baby somewhere safe before heading to the cafeteria. Despite she was already late, she wouldn't dare to go to class without grabbing a bite or two, even if that meant getting scolded once more by her Drawing professor for being late. Much to her dismay, the lunch ladies had already cleared up everything and almost every student had already left to go to class. Liv let out a sigh in disappointment before she too headed to her drawing class.

Lunch period is usually an enjoyable time, not least because it's a nice break after a particularly dull lesson of mathematics for Vita. However, what she finds most enjoyable about lunch is the company. She might not be best friends with all of them, but the majority of those who are seated around the table are people who she would happily spend one on one time with. Olivia especially she was close with, the two having been friends for several years now. At the moment Olivia's attention appears to be held by the young man sitting beside her and Vita, hiding a smirk, turns her own gaze on the other occupants of the table.

Tomás, sitting across from her, offers her a little wave to which Vita replies with a warm smile. Tomás always brings a genuine smile to Vita's face, and if you asked her she probably wouldn't be able to give you a definite reason why. Her smile remains as Tomás eagerly introduces himself to Elijah. As the pair launch into their conversation Vita begins her meal, slowly eating the cafeteria food while her eyes follow the speakers at the table. Anyone who has ever seen the two Godwin boys together would have seen the intimacy with which they interacted. Now is no exception as Tom nuzzles into Azazel's neck, an act that reminds Vita of an affectionate canine.

As the conversation moves onto the smell Azazel gives off and Vita finds herself struggling not to snort in an unladylike way. She watches with amusement as the conversation continues, with Tomás trying to encourage Elijah into smelling his 'father'. Eventually Azazel relents, and Eli agrees. The shy boy leans forward, sniffing Azazel. Vita finds herself once again attempting to smother a laugh. As Eli pulls back and admits that Azazel smells nice, Vita finds the urge to comment on the interaction unbearable.
"Are we all smelling Azazel now? Can I smell you too?" She says in a sarcastic tone with a smirk on her face. She has no intention of actually smelling the demon, but someone has to comment on all this talk about smelling, didn't they?

Ashley, seated beside Vita, watches the various interactions at the table as she eats her meal. Naturally quieter around people she doesn't know so well, she's happy to simply listen and take in her surroundings. The sun is warm on her face and a happy smile plays across her face as she soaks up the heat. The talk around her is like a comfortable hum and, while having no inclination to talk, she's perfectly content to watch. Ashley thinks there's something sweet about the way Azazel and Tomás interact, a protective companionship that she wishes she shared with her own father. Ash gets the idea that each would defend the other no matter what. Her own father loves her, she knows that, but she also remembers his horrified expression when she made the mistake of revealing her sexuality to him. Even now, having erased her father's memory of the event thanks to her deal with Azazel, she still can't get his disgusted look from her mind.

Tuning back into the conversation Ashley finds that it has shifted to what Azazel smells like. She watches quietly as the conversation progresses, personally thinking it rather cute as Elijah leans across to sniff Azazel at Tomas' encouragement. However, that doesn't stop her smiling as Vita jokes about also smelling Azazel. Yet, what truly catches her attention is the talk of the home game tonight. Although her passion is soccer, she has a general appreciation of most sport and rarely voluntarily misses a home game. She'll be at the game tonight too, perhaps she'll ask Vita after lunch if she wants to go with her or Greta who, despite not understanding a single rule about lacrosse, usually accompanies Ash to the games.

The young girl waited patiently as the professor called for the students names. Jane did her best to hide her nervousness knowing how much Claire often mocked her for it. To her right, her friend laid her face lazily against her desk with her arms crossed seeming not have a care in the world. Jane let out a smile to Claire when she heard the professor call her name. She almost let out a small jump after hearing her name, perhaps feeling unnecessarily nervous, she immediately stood up and began to walk to his desk.

The professor let out a smile as he handed her graded paper but Jane simply stared down trying to catch a glimpse without actually being able to see her grade. She moved slowly back into her desk, contemplating her chances and thinking that there was a great possibility that she had gotten one answer wrong. As soon as she sat down on her seat she allowed her eyes to slowly fall down on her paper. Finally, Jane let out a sigh in relief after she noticed the big 'A' on the upper right corner. After hearing Jane's recognizable sigh, Claire patted her on the back telling her to calm down.

"You are such a nerd, Jane"

Jane let out a smile, not having much of an argument against her friend's accusations. As both friends waited for Claire's name to be called, Jane smiled trying to reassure her friend. Finally, Claire's last name was called by the professor. The young seemingly uninterested girl walked lazily to the teacher's desk, the professor shook his head in a disapproving manner as he handed her paper back. Claire gazed at her paper and after noticing a barely passing grade she smiled victoriously. "I passed!" she says before Jane returns the gesture and pats her back in the same way she had moments before. "I told you you'd pass the test." Jane says with a gentle smile showing she had not once doubted her friend. "Shut up-..." Claire says while laughing softly.
...

Every class after that goes much more smoothly, it is a day much like any other. Finally, the bell rings signaling it is lunchtime which also happens to be the only time in which Jane cannot avoid Azazel. While she knew he had given them the option to choose whether to sit with him or else, Jane was far too frighten to have it other way. After all, she did not know if he had meant it as a thread the first time he had given them the option. Now, she had come to realize he truly cared little if they joined him or not, still Jane was not willing to take any chances against the black eyes demon. To add salt to her wound, Claire has a different schedule and therefore a different lunchtime.

Jane walked slowly to the cafeteria where she got in line, shortly after she picked her lunch, and finally headed towards the others. From the distance it appeared as if everyone was having their own conversations. Without her eyes ever coming into contact with Azazel, she sat down nearby Ashley and Victoria. She made sure not to be very quiet so she would have not been surprised if she hadn't been noticed by the others as she took a seat. Shortly after she saw the scenario in which Elijah was smelling Azazel, a blush quickly made appearance on Jane's fair skin finding the act very intimate. She felt a bit fluttered by the scene which was why she immediately looked away from them and instead gazed on her plate with her food. As soon as Victoria let out a laugh and made her witty remark, Jane could not help but to try to hide herself even further. Gods no... she immediately thought to herself, she'd probably faint before she even came close enough to get a mere whiff of the demonic entity.

Olivia had gotten out of school at a late hour. Inevitably, the short exchange of insults she had with the drawing professor had led her to the much expected detention hours. The fiery blonde was one of the few students who often spent her time in detention and was a bit of a frequent visitor. Still, she couldn’t help but to feel disappointed to miss the game, as she had almost never missed a match. She had to admit, the games were always fun to watch especially when there were attractive lacrosse players to please her eyes with. She also loved supporting her brother, seeing how the two had become very close throughout the time they had been living together, she liked watching the games even if that meant also seeing her nemesis.

You know that saying, speak of the devil? It plays more than just an ironic role in her life, all things considered. Just as the bubbly little hell hound slipped into her mind, she receives a text from him. They'd won the game, it read—the words displayed in capitalized font and a splurge of exclamation points. In hindsight, that didn't come as much of a surprise. With a demon and a hell hound on the team, it'd be more of a surprise if they'd lost. Soon following the ecstatic SMS display of victory, he asks if she would be willing to pick him up from the field, inviting her to a post-game dinner at dinner between the indebted minus one demon. Because, let's face it, the offer's a lot more tantalizing when Azazel is off the table.

She can't help but to allow a smile curve up on her lips accompanied by a silent sigh of relief. Of course, she would have much more rather to have been present to witness the massacre she knew the other team had received. As much as she hated to admit it, the demon that held her custody and her ever so charming brother had a way of kicking some ass. As expected by the supernatural dynamic duo. As if it the outcome wasn't obvious, Liv knew the pair well enough to know there was nothing to worry about in the first place but the good news emanating on her cell phone screen still managed to put her in a good mood. She immediately rushed towards her baby, just a few seconds before she is about to start the engine she replies to Tomás letting him know she'd arrive shortly after.

As he receives the text, Tomás grins, slipping his phone back into the pocket of his jeans. He rushed towards the group, Elijah already chatting it up with Victoria and Ashley on the sidelines by the water station. "Guys! We won! Isn't that great or what?!"

Elijah will be the first to admit that he's never liked sports, nor will he ever. The thought of exerting himself already leaves him exhausted. So, when he hears his parents going wild on the sidelines and the crowd roaring with life, he looks up from his novel and assumes that--yet another--game has been won. Yes, he's glad and whatnot, but he's not surprised. No one should be, honestly. It's a pair of supernatural entities going head to head with roid raging teenage boys...it's not rocket science to know what the outcome will be. Bookmarking his page, Eli stands up just as Victoria and Ashley join him at his station. It's merely idle chitchat with them, nothing special, but things get interesting when Tommy joins the bunch. Smiling, Eli pretends to be overjoyed, but let's be real, people...we all knew it was going to happen. "Yeah, it is!" he says, grinning with pride. "Congrats, man. I saw the whole thing." Okay, so that's a lie. He didn't see any of it...he was reading Dracula the entire time, but Tommy doesn't need to know that, not when he's being so happy and adorable. "You were amazing out there.”

Tomás, of course, heard the lie. It was both a gift and a curse. The blip in Elijah's heartrate gave it away. It was the thought that counts, he supposed. "Thank Elijah-.." he smiles, giving him a knowing look, before turning his attention to the girls, "So what'd you guys think?”

Ashley and Vita had watched and cheered with the rest of the crowd, shouting along with those beside them as goal after goal was scored. Ashley had followed the game play by play, frowning at penalties and clapping excitedly as their team made a pass. Vita, who knew less of the technical rules, simply cheered whenever the team drew closer to their net. Needless to say each girl was on her feet by the end of the game, shouting with everyone else as the final seconds ticked by.

Once the game was over the pair had headed down to the field where they had found Elijah. Vita spies a book close at hand as he stands to meet the two and hides a smile as she greets her friend. It's not long until an excited Tommy joins the trio, his excitement about his team's win obvious.

"Best game I've ever seen." Vita replies, flashing Tomás a smile. Perhaps it was attending the game with someone who understood it, or simply the general atmosphere, but she could honestly say that she'd enjoyed every minute of it.

"Congratulations! You must be ecstatic." Ash adds, a wide smile on her own face. She loves the sporting atmosphere, it brings out a more confident Ashley.

"So much!" Tomás laughs, practically vibrating with energy. "We're all still up for Denny's right?"

"Totally," Eli says, glancing at his parents as they gather their belongings. "Mom, Pops, it's cool if I hang out with the group, right?”

"Absolutely not!" Mr. Franklin says, coolly.

"What? Why?"

"I'm just joking, son. Have fun with your friends, and don't come home unless you have some funny stories to tell when you come back."

Smiling, Eli rolls his eyes, "Noted. Bye, parental units!”

They wave, saying their goodbyes before thanking Tommy again for the seating arrangements and taking their leave with large grins on their faces.

"Definitely still going to Denny's." Vita nods in agreement. She waves to the Franklins as they take their leave before glancing quickly around, "Did you invite Olivia?" She can't see the blonde girl, but if Vita knew her friend she has probably been late in detention.

Ashley simply nods her agreement, pleased to be included and looking forward to the prospect of food.

"Yeah, she's on her way to come get me." Tomás replies, "I'll meet you guys there okay?" With that he offers a slight wave and a meek smile before jogging off towards front gate where they'd agreed to meet.

"I guess I'll be riding with you, Victrola. That okay?"

"Of course." Vita replies, pulling out her keys and swinging the key chain they're on around her finger. She points towards the car park, "That way team.”

She drives in a rush, as usual. Her motorcycle quickly leaves behind any neighboring vehicles as she makes her way through. The traffic is as crowded as usual, that is until she comes closer to the school where everyone is making their way out of the game that the traffic truly becomes hectic. Finally, she arrives at their meeting spot where she sees Tomás waiting for her.

"Hop on dork." She says with a smile.

"You got it, Liv-Liv!" Tomás grins from ear to ear, taking no shame in sitting behind her on the self-proclaimed "bitch seat". Hugging her around the waist, he hooks his chin over her shoulder and points with gusto. "Onward trusty steed!"

It doesn't take long before the two arrive at the meeting spot. Knowing how fast Olivia drove there was a very high chance that the pair of sibblings had arrive earlier than the rest of the party. After her motorcycle comes to a full stop she signals Tomás to hop off. Shortly after, she muffles his hair playfully as if he was a cute puppy she could not pet enough.

"You did well Tom-Tom." She says sincerely.

Tomás harrumphs playfully as he gets off the motorcycle, "I'm a bit of an expert when it comes to two-wheeled stuff, sis." he laughs, hooking his arm with hers as he walks her to the double glass doors, "Come on, we shouldn't keep the others waiting."

Vita's driving is much more sedate than Olivia's and so she arrives at least five minutes after the blonde and her brother. Pulling up into a park she turns off the engine and opens the door. She waits for Ashley and Elijah to leave the vehicle before hitting the little lock button on her set of keys.

"I think Liv and Tommy are already inside." Vita remarks, nodding towards Olivia's motorcycle parked a short distance away, "Let's get in before they eat all the food." She adds with a smirk.

"I'm more worried about Tommy than Liv, honestly," Eli quips at Victoria's side as they make their way into the eating establishment. He spots the two siblings immediately, sending them a small smile and a wave as he makes his way over to them with the girls right on his tail. He allows the ladies to slide into the booth first before he does, sitting at the end across from Liv and Tommy.

Olivia doesn't wait long to eye at the menu, despite she has been at the dinner before and already has an idea as to what she wants to oder. She is having an internal debate on what she should eat when she sees Elijah, Vita and Ashley entering through the glass doors. She lets out a wide smile as they sit down.

"What took you guys so long?" Olivia says with a half smile before she eyes at her best friend. "Oh that's right, grams Vita was behind the wheel." Olivia says unable to contain her snicker.

Tomás knows exactly what he's going to get. Not that he much cares for Denny's, mind, but it's the only place open that won't be packed to hell. Besides, they have a mean breakfast platter. When the girls walk in with Elijah, he's all sunshine and kittens, beaming and waving them over enthusiastically. Once they're seated he cuts his eyes to his sister, huffing a laugh at her quip while he makes fashions a card house out of the sugar packets.

Vita scowls at Olivia, "Just because I don't drive like a reckless idiot." She replies in retaliation. Truthfully she's not actually mad at her friend, it's hard to stay angry with Olivia in most circumstances anyway. Vita's pet peeve is careless driving. She would readily admit that her own driving is on the slow side, but she'd rather that then accidentally hitting someone. "Anyway, what's everyone getting?" She asks, glancing over her menu without a clue what to eat.

Ashley glances up from her own menu and points to the top item, a classic burger.
"Gotta be a burger." She says, eyeing up the table beside them who have just received their meals. The burger looks delicious.

Eli's smirking the entire time, finding amusement in the conversation thus far. He's not contributing much, but he's always liked people watching. "I'm craving chocolate chip pancakes." Eli says when the topic changes. "Anything cavity inducing really.”

Olivia knows Vita does not approve of her mad driving skills; so she gives her friend a playful smile, almost as if coming from a child, in trying to redeem herself a bit. She lets her friend change the subject, and begins hearing impatiently, at the other's orders. Her stomach lets out a growl at the sound of the delicious meals, so one could only imagine the sounds her stomach produced after the neighboring table received their food. Liv had to stop herself from almost stealing a plate or two from the people sitting nearby. "Damn it, I'm starving-..." The blonde says holding her restless stomach. "-...I'll eat anything at this point." Olivia says now waving at the waitress to take their orders.

"Separate checks?" the waitress says as she arrives at the table.

"Yes ma’amm."

With a smile the woman puts a pen to the pad as asks, "Alright, what'll it be?"

"I'll have the breakfast platter. No!" Tomás corrects himself, spying a picture on Elijah's menu that looks to die for. "I want that!" he points, "Steak and eggs!”

"Rib-eye?"

"Yes ma’am."

"How do you want it?"

"Medium rare. With sunny side up eggs, please.”

With a nod the waitress turns to the opposite side of the table with a smile and asks the girls, "What'll it be ladies?"

Ashley points to her desired item, "Burger please." She adds, smiling up at the waitress as the woman quickly jots down her order. "And a lemonade, thanks."

The waitress nods and takes Ash's menu before turning her attention to Vita, who is still unsure. "Um..." Vita mutters to herself, glancing from one option to the next. With a shrug she picks one at random, ordering a creamy pasta.

"Peanut butter cupcake pancake with extra whipped cream and strawberries, please?" Eli orders when the waitress' eyes land on him. "Oh and for my drink can I have the cinnamon apple pie milkshake extra whipped cream on that too and three cherries?" With a wide child-like smile, Eli hands his menu away as the waitress questions his sugar intake with the weight of her stare.

Olivia smiles a bit after Eli gives his order to the waitress. Before the waitress has any time to turn around and ask her order she begins speaking a bit hastily. ”I’ll have the Grand Slamwich and a sprite.” As she is about to return the menu and place it on the woman's hands she pauses a bit. "I'll have some of those pancakes too." Olivia adds at the very end. The woman looks at the blonde in surprise but nods anyways.

"You guys are gonna be so diabetic after this." Tomás laughs.

"Will that be all?"

"Oh no, can I get uhhh-...Dr. Pepper?" The waitress nods and walks away scribbling away on her pad. Tomás turns his attention to the table as she does, looking at everyone with a soft smile before wilting a bit. "I wish Dad was here.”

"You know most teenagers don't want their dads hanging around all the time." Vita remarks, although her tone is playful. The Godwin boys hardly have your typical father-son relationship.

"What's he doing instead?" Ash asks curiously.

"He said he was going to read-..." the hell hound replies, "...-but I don't know. He's more than just a father to me, you know? He's my best friend.”

Elijah smiles at Tommy, admiring the relationship between him and Azazel. It was really sweet. "That's understandable. Adorable, but understandable."

Olivia doesn't say anything when Rumple is brought up in the conversation. Instead, she places her attention elsewhere. Of course, she does not share her brother's sentiment, her feelings towards the demon being anything but affectionate.

Vita feels a smirk develop on her face as she glances across at Olivia.
"Speaking of absentee friends, where's Kevin Liv?" Vita teases, "You two seemed pretty cozy at lunch."

Inevitably, the blonde can feel a slight rush of heat on her cheeks. She immediately gives her best friend the eyes as if calling her out for her treachery. "I-..." Olivia pauses, "-...I don't know," she says. Although it is very rare to see her flustered, this is one of those rare occasions.

"I think someone has a crush." Tomás grins, bumping his shoulder into his sister's own. "You can't lie to this nose, Liv-Liv.”

Vita smiles at her friends sudden discomposure. Not much causes Olivia to behave like this, so Vita knows that this boy is more than a momentary fling. Which only makes it more natural that, as her best friend, Vita proceeds to tease Liv.

"You know, you could have invited him out tonight. I'd love a chance to get to know him." Vita says, grinning wickedly. "We didn't really have much of a chance talk with him at lunch. You two seemed rather caught up with each other."

Olivia feels her brother's tap to which she immediately responds with another with a bit more force applied to it. "Shut up!" Liv says laughing a bit.

As soon as her best friend teases her some more the rosy color in her cheeks become a bit more apparent. Like a child, she sticks her tongue out to her friend almost as if letting her know she'd have none of she'd have none of the juicy gossip. ”So, Eli.” Olivia says trying to change the subject promptly. ”Did your parents go to the game?” She asks remembering their conversation at the lunch table earlier that day.

Throughout the entire conversation, Elijah has been staring off into oblivion and preoccupying his mind with daydreams. It was a common habit of his that usually results in him missing out of important information...this is no exception. Snapping out of his reverie, he stares at Olivia like a deer in headlights. "Wha-...?" It takes a moment to compute what she said, but when it sinks in, he blushes because of his short attention span. "Oh...yeah, they had the best time. They got to meet Tommy and Azazel."

"They're the best." Tomás says, "Mr. Franklin really got into the game, like, to the point where I could smell the stress coming off of him. It was insane.”

”That sounds pretty sweet." Olivia says with a grin, her brother's ability never ceasing to amuse her. ”I wish I could have meet them and watched the match.”

"I like your parents, Eli." Vita adds, although she's sure Elijah already knows this. Vita makes an effort to talk with Mr and Mrs Franklin whenever she sees them. "I'm glad they enjoyed the game."

"They've watched the games before, haven't they?" Ash injects, remembering their conversation at lunch. "Must have been nice to see it all close up.”

"I presume I'm the only human being that thinks my parents are the epitome of all that is embarrassing." Eli sighs, running his long fingers through his hair. "But yeah, they come to the game religiously and to see it all up close and personally was like giving a pothead pounds upon pounds of marijuana. They were way too happy about it.”

"Hey, don't be embarrassed. I thought it was really sweet. Besides, Pops seemed to really like them." Tomás gives Eli a playful nudge with his foot beneath the table, "And your mom was really flattered when he gave her his jersey. You're totally going to hear about it when you get home.”

Elijah sighs, shaking his head, "I know...can I stay with you tonight?"

"Uhhh definitely." Tomás laughs, "Like, all of the yeses.”

She can only imagine the Franklins' excitement, and for a moment she remembers her mother. Her smile immediately begins to tone down after remembering her poor excuse for a mother. "Having a sleepover are we?" Olivia asks, trying to get her mind off from her terrible madre with a smile.

"You can come over to mine. We'll have a girls' slumber party." Vita jokes, seeing her friend's momentary lull, "We can stay up late doing each others hair, gossiping about the school hotties, and playing truth or dare."

”Count me in. But, as you know misfit, I am sure as hell not wearing any pink and I am in no way coming near any burn book hidden underneath your bed.”

"Mean Girls references" he sings as the waitress approaches with their food. She deals out the plates and leaves, returning shortly with the drinks. Though it seemed a little backwards, Tomás didn't question it. Instead, he used his utensils to put his eggs on top of his steak, carving into his meat with his tongue poked out over his bottom lip.

"I just hope I'm not in the burn book." A large cheshire cat grin stretches his face as soon as his pancakes are right in front of him. He licks his lips, staring down at the food like a starved man before diving in almost savagely. One thing about Eli is that he loves sweets, so having this connection of high fructose corn syrup and peanuts before him was like Christmas.

"You kidding?" Vita laughs as she accepts her food, "You basically make up the whole book Eli. Closely followed by you Tommy." She adds, winking playfully at the other young man.

"Wha-...?" he says, much like the minions from Despicable Me, his cheek stuffed on one side with a slice of steak and eggs. "Why me?”

"Something about not wearing pink on Wednesdays among the many things I got to read, wasn't it Vita?" Olivia says before she gets completely distracted by the delicious looking meal standing before her.

Vita nods in agreement, "The worst sin to commit." She adds, mock seriously. She too turns into her food, feeling a little underwhelmed with the meal she has been given. Glancing across at Ashley, who is halfway through devouring her own meal, Vita feels a stab of food envy. Why didn't she pick the burger?

Tomás scoffs around his steak, a perpetual smile on his face, "Well sorry for not owning something pink. I'll have to go buy a new shirt or something. Maybe a mini skirt to really show off my calves.”

"I'll have to admit. You're calves are hot, Tommy." Eli jests as he devours his pancakes. With every bite, he's getting more and more hyper. His leg bounces under the table, bumping Victoria every now and again...and as expected, when he's in this state, word vomit comes out. "Ohmygod these pancakes are like heaven in your mouth. If Heaven had a flavor it would be these pancakes! They're so fluffy and golden...like Liv's hair! Ohmygod! Liv if your hair was food it would be these pancakes. I'm eating your hair and it's delicious! I have spoken!" He's beaming, maple syrup dribbling down the side of his mouth as he bounces in his seat.

Olivia searches for the nearest hot sauce to pour into her sandwich. After spotting the Tabasco she immediately leans forward to reach for the glassed bottle containing the red liquid. She quickly pours large amounts of the hot sauce into her delicious looking sandwich and as she is about to take on the first bite she hears Elijah's crazy talk as a result of his sugar rush. "I like your similes, Eli." Olivia says in observation unable to contain a soft chuckle. "I can't say I've ever tasted my hair but I imagine it is just as delicious." She adds followed by a wink though she hardly imagines Elijah is paying any attention after seeing his extreme enthusiasm at the sugary delish.

Vita laughs, enjoying watching Eli as he bounces in his seat. The occasional bump of his leg under the table only hinders her eating slightly, she's experienced the same hyper-Eli before and knows to hold on tightly to your food when Eli gets this jumpy.

Beside Vita Ashley's gaze becomes one of minor concern. This is the first Elijah sugar high episode she has witnessed and she isn't sure what to make of it. "He's not going to... explode or anything is he?" She mutters to the others, half serious and half joking.

"I don't know but it's hilarious." Tomás laughs, "We should get you a soda! Here-...have my Dr. Pepper!" Shoving his carbonated beverage in Elijah's direction, he keeps his attention on the young man's heart rate. It's only slightly elevated but still, he'll have Eli calm down if it gets too much.

Eli eyes the soda with a grin before meeting Tommy's eyes. "It's fine. I have a milkshake! It's all cinnamony and apple-ish and yum! Oh oh oh! You should let me mix them together. Your soda with my milkshake! That would make the universe explode; it will be that awesome. Pleeeeease!" He asks, clasping and unclasping his hands, gesturing for Tommy to give him the drink.

Tomás scrunches up his face with a laugh, hanging onto the drink, "Oh gross! Dude, no. What flavor would that even make?”

"The flavor of the gods!" Eli states, a bit too loudly. "It will be like everything good in this world has been combined into one beverage thus making it the Mac Daddy of drinks. That is what you're missing out on."

"Absolutely not. That would ruin your milkshake.”

"I definitely agree with Tommy." Vita says. She's trying not to laugh too hard, but seeing Eli like this is hysterical. "Plus, your parents won't let you come out with us again if we return you high on sugar. That soda can will only make it worse.”

"Which is why my new best buddy will be taking me home with him, right Tommy?" He pouts before putting his straw between his lips and inhaling his milkshake as he bounces uncontrollably. "Thou hath been replaced, Victrola.”

"I'll be adding that to the burn book." Vita replies, poking her tongue out at Eli.

Meanwhile, Tommy is simply ecstatic. "Did you hear that, Liv-Liv?" he says, looking at his sister as he bounces up and down in his seat. "I'm his best buddy!"

Olivia has been listening at the conversation as if she were in a movie. To say the blonde is highly entertained would be a bit of a understatement. At the same time, she is joyfully eating her slamwich and every once in a while she takes a few sips from her soda. It isn't until her brother directly addresses her that she carefully places the little remains of the sandwhich. She gives her brother a warm smile as she muffles his hair again, something which had somehow became a habit now whenever she tried to praise him. Olivia nods as she finds her brother endearing, "I totally did Tom-Tom.”

Before he knows it, his milkshake has disappeared along with his pancakes. Eli pouts upon the realization because he was truly enjoying every second of consuming the sugary substances. "...I can get seconds, right?" He asks, looking at Victoria out of habit.

Vita smiles and rolls her eyes playfully, "Shouldn't you be asking your new best friend?" She asks. Then, relenting she signals the waitress with a wave of her hand.

Tomás leans into his sister's touch, looking at her with amusement in his dark brown eyes. "Me thinks the lady doth protest too much." he jests.

"Don't be getting all jelly on us, Vita." Olivia says playfully to her best friend, "You know Eli still loves you." Olivia says while still playing with her brother's hair.

Vita nods, taking a sip of her orange juice. "I'm a lovable kinda girl.” She says with a smirk.

As a token of gratitude, Eli gives Victoria's cheek a small peck before nuzzling her there. The waitress is giving him a strange look, but he pays no heed as he orders another milkshake and a New York Style cheesecake to go with it. As he waits, he rests his head on Vita's shoulder which he usually did when attempting to calm down.

Vita places an arm around Eli's shoulders, giving his opposite arm a pat as he nuzzles her. He appears to be calming down, slightly. "Ash, when's your big soccer game?" She asks a moment later, realizing the blonde girl has been quiet for too long.

Ashley glances up from the few remaining scraps on her plate, "Next week." She replies after mentally checking that she's right. "It won't be as exciting as tonight's game though.”

Tomás watches the interaction between Elijah and Victoria with his head tilted to the side, curious as to what it could mean before his attention is drawn elsewhere. When Ashley speaks up about her soccer game he almost feels guilty. "Oh no, don't say that. I'm totally coming to your game. What's your number? I'll paint myself the school colors and write it on my chest in big white lettering.”

"It's no big deal." Ash says, blushing slightly at the attention. She's more than happy for her team to pass under the radar. "We've beaten the team before, so we know how they play.”

"She's number three." Vita supplies when it's clear Ash won't, "I'll supply the paint." She adds with a grin.

"You could paint me if you want." he says, completely oblivious, "It'll probably end up looking like crap if I do it myself.”

"I'll happily paint you." Vita replies, the slight quirk of her head and crooked smirk suggesting that she isn't quite as oblivious as Tommy is.

"Shipping it!" Eli grins against his friend's shoulder as his dessert and drink are set in front of him. He says nothing else as he attacks that cheesecake like a caveman.

Tomás flushes, "Huh?" Suddenly the whole 'painting' fiasco hits him like a ton of bricks and his blushing bright red all the way up to the tips of his ears, "That's totally not what I meant, Eli!”

Olivia immediately lets out a devious smile, unable to help herself. She shifts her eyes between Vita and her brother as she lets out a somewhat exageratted sigh. "Do you guys smell that?" She pauses for a bit but not long enough to get interrupted. "I smell love in the air!-..." Olivia says teasingly while almost singing the last part.

"Shush everyone." Vita says, nudging Elijah softly with her shoulder and rolling her eyes at Olivia.

"Can't someone paint someone else without snide comments?" She jokes, fully aware that such an act is rather out of the ordinary. "And do I need to bring up Kevin again?" Vita says this last sentence directly to Liv, raising a threatening eyebrow at her friend.

"Apparently not-..." Tomás huffs, embarrassed. That is, until Kevin is mentioned, then he looks at Olivia with a shit-eating grin. "Yeah, let's talk about Kevin.”

Liv is still laughing, at least that is until Kevin is mentioned once more. Before she starts feeling that familiar fluttering sensation she cover half of her face with her hand. "Actually, let's not." Olivia says hoping Elijah could somehow have another sugar crazed moment to distract the duo.

"Kevin has pretty eyes," Eli blurts out without a second thought as he swallows the last bit of his cheesecake. "Like they're all green and just really nice to look at. I think Liv of all people would know since she's been staring at them longer than any of us." He looks at Olivia with an innocent grin. "What's he like? I've never talked to him before. You're crushing on him so he must be pretty decent, huh?”

Olivia immediately frowns her eyes and her mouth is semi opened in disbelief. She send a glare down Elijah that plainly states how betrayed she felt. Inevitably, Liv’s cheeks are rosy once again. Of course she had noticed Kev's beautiful eyes, she had to admit it was one of the things she liked most of his. As she is actually thinking of a way to describe him she begins to feel a bit baffled, especially when she remembers Nina. "He has a girlfriend." She finally decides to say in all seriousness, trying to see if they could actually drop the subject.

Olivia's scent sours with her sadness and Tomás is a whimpering mess because of it. Laying his head on her shoulder, he nuzzles into her golden tresses to comfort her, hugging her arm in apology.

"Oh, Liv. I'm sorry!" Vita says, nudging her friend's foot under the table.

Ashley nods in agreement, but remains silent. She's not best buddies with Liv like the others and doesn't feel it's her place to mention the girlfriend issue.

Instantly, Eli feels like crap for carrying on the conversation against Liv' wishes. This is his fault. "I'm so sorry," he apologizes, reaching over the table to grab her hand. "I'm a jerk for that.”

Olivia gently hugs her brother back, trying to reassure him she was all right. She knew she would be unable to fool him but she hoped it could at least make him at ease. She also nudges Vita back as well as she sends Ashley a smile back. As soon as Eli touches her hand she also taps him gently. "Come on you dorks, don't be like that. It's not a big deal, really." Olivia says trying to bring her usual smile back as well as her playful demeanor. Knowing she had dampened the mood made her feel bad. Before anybody else has the chance to say a thing she calls for the waitress to get the check.

A couple of minutes after the waitress returns with their separate checks they begin wrapping things up, and the mood is significantly improved. The girls leave the boys behind as they are on their way to their own sleepover. Olivia rides on her baby, slowing her usual crazy fast speed to follow after Vita and Ashley.

There is something infinitely relaxing about baking on a sunny afternoon, or at least Vita thinks so. It isn't a hobby that the girl regularly indulges in, preferring the fresh air outside to having fingers sticky with melted chocolate. Yet, with a shared lunch at school the next day, Vita has decided to actually bake something rather than take the easy way out and buy it. Luckily for her classmates Vita is rather adept at following written instructions and half an hour after she started a tray of chocolate chip cookies is sending out enticing smells from the oven. The champion baker sits at the breakfast bar, devouring her most recent book, American Gods, as she waits for the timer to ding.

He can't find her anywhere. Despite all of his best efforts to call or text, Tomás couldn't find Olivia anywhere. Azazel wouldn't respond to any of his texts either, leaving the hell hound completely and utterly alone. It was frightening. He hates being left by himself more than anything, almost as much as being a nuisance. For that reason alone he doesn't go to Elijah. Too much of a good thing always leads to disaster. Their friendship so far has proved to be very promising and as much as he'd like to spend the day with the water boy, he wouldn't want Elijah getting sick of him. That's what brings him to the home of Victoria Holmes. Parking his motorbike in the driveway, he walks hesitantly to the door. Victoria was Olivia's best friend; if anyone knew where she was it was her. Gently rasping at the door, Tomás adjusts his leather jacket and waits, his dark eyes anxious tracing the door frame.

A knock draws Vita's attention from the pages of her novel. She blinks, momentarily adjusting her mind back to reality as she gazes around the kitchen searching for the noise source. It takes her a second to realise that the sound is coming from the front door. Saving her page in her book with a fork, Vita quickly checks that the cookies aren't going to be burnt to a crisp in her absence before making her way out into the entrance hall.

Her bare feet pad softly across the wooden floor. She can make out a tall figure through the stained glass of the door, but little more yet. It isn't until she opens the door and reveals Tommy anxiously waiting on the doorstep that the identity of her guest is revealed.
"Tommy! Hey." Vita says with a smile. She is pleasantly surprised to find him here and rather curious to know why her classmate is here. "What's up?"

Through the door he hears footsteps, recognizes the stride, and he sighs in relief. No awkward run-ins with parents, he thinks, just to quell his nervousness. Seconds later, the door opens and Victoria stands surpised in the the threshold, her soft lavender scent making its way to him as the air-conditioning beckons him inside. Lavender and honey, that's her scent, and it's the most fragrant combination he's ever smelled. Just like that his nerves wane and a smile nearly splits his face in two. "Hey Victoria," he greets, immediately waving but then blushing when he realizes he doesn't have to. Pocketing his hands, his smile softens, catching a whiff of chocolate chips and batter from inside the house. "Sorry to bother you while you're baking, is Olivia here?"

Vita's owns smile grows slightly as Tommy's own smile appears, however she's forced to disappoint him by shaking her head and admitting that she hadn't seen Olivia since school ended. "She's not here sorry..." Vita begins, before a loud beeping echoes down the hallway from the kitchen. "That'll be the cookies. I'd better get them out before they burn." Vita explains, "Come in if you want, I'm sure we can track Liv down together." Vita adds, waving Tommy inside as she begins to back up towards the kitchen.

She's not here, he mused, almost bitterly, Awesome. As he's invited inside, however, Tomás can't help but smile to show his gratitude. "Thanks-..." he mutters softly, gushing and shy in a way out of his norm. Following her in, he tells himself not to act like a complete freak. When it comes to Victoria he's a mess. He's flustered and gittery and almost incoherent when he speaks. He doesn't know why but that's how it's been since the moment he first saw her. When he asked Azazel the demon was just as vague as he is about everything. Needless to say, he's been trying to figure out this whole 'selective weirdness' all by himself for a while now. Walking into the kitchen, Tomás makes himself comfortable against the island, watching the young woman as she pulls freshly baked cookies out of the oven. He inhales, basking in the aroma until he's practically salivating. "Ohmigod, that smells amazing."

Vita carefully places the tray on the bench, making sure none of the cookies fall onto the floor. The cookies certainly look good, and they don't smell too bad either, a sentiment echoed by Tommy. Vita flashes him a smile, "I made a few extra if you want some?" Vita offers. Without waiting for an answer and because she also feels like nibbling on one of them, Vita pulls out a plate. Carefully, attempting not to burn her fingers on the chocolate biscuits, she moves several from the tray to the plate. "Be careful, they're still hot." She says as she places the plate on the bench beside Tommy.

Nodding enthusiatically, Tomás waits until the plate is placed in front of him. He's reaching out for one just before Victoria heeds her warning and his hand stops in midair. With a miniscule pout, he watches the plate, ducking down until his mouth is level with the top of the cookies. He blows on them gently, trying in vain to cool them down before the temptation becomes too much to ignore. Grabbing one he bites down half of it and immediately regrets but because he's done it to himself he doesn't spit it out. Not to mention, Victoria might think them bad, and they were far from it. "Ow! Holy crap!" he groans, puckering his lips and inhaling through it to cool down his mouth, "Oh God, that hurts so good. Ugh, they're delicious."

There's nothing Victoria can do but laugh as she watches Tomás exclaim after eating a cookie. Sure, she's sympathetic to his plight, after all a burnt tongue is never something you'd want to have, but his reaction has her attempting, and failing, to bite back a stream of giggles. She appreciates the fact that even though his mouth is on fire, the young man still took the time to compliment her baking. Pouring a glass of water and offering it to him, Vita hopes that the liquid will do something to help, although she's sure the worst has already passed. She herself takes a careful nibble of one of the biscuits, savouring the melted chocolate without burning her mouth.
"I did warn you." She jokes, a playful smile on her face.

Once he's swallows the worst is over but he takes the glass of water with the same gratitude of a man dying of thirst. Gulping it down, he doesn't stop until he's drinking nothing but air and then releases a relieved sigh as he places the cup on the counter. "Uhh-...thank you. That was painful." he says, his voice breathless and slightly raspy from the scorched trachea. Offering Victoria a meek smile, he scratches the back of his head, talking out of the side of his mouth. "I guess I should've taken your warning more seriously."

Vita leans down, resting her elbows on the bench and shrugs her shoulders at Tommy's remark, "Hard to know how warm they'll actually be until you've taken a bite." She says, then adds with a laugh, "Although next time probably don't take such a big bite." Vita takes another biscuit off the plate and snaps it in half, as if to demonstrate how to eat a cookie, before popping it in her mouth.

"So, you're looking for Olivia?" Vita asks a moment later, remembering the original reason for Tommy's appearance at her house. Vita reaches over and grabs her cellphone. Unlocking it she finds the screen empty of notifications and the last text conversation she and Olivia shared had taken place several hours ago. Vita sets the phone down without attempting to text her friend since she's assuming that Tommy would have already done that.

Tomás smiles as she teases him, taking her instruction to heart by doing exactly as she did. He nibbles on the end of it when he's asked about his sister, waiting until he's chewed the bit of cookie in his mouth before saying, "Yeah, I can't find her anywhere. Or Azazel for that matter. They're not answering my texts." Taking another bite out of the cookie, Tomás hums, a childhood habit he's yet to break. When he swallows he's back into it, explaining his the depth of his search. "There's no way they're together—they can't stand each other—and Azazel's much harder to find when he doesn't want to be found. When Olivia wouldn't answer my texts I figured she was either with you or with Kevin, and since she's not here-..."

Vita nods along as Tommy explains his search, a small smirk forming when he mentions Olivia and Azazel's distaste for each other. While Vita has never spoken with Azazel about it, she's certainly heard enough from Olivia to understand that relationship.
"Ah, so the boy wins out over family and friends." Vita jokes. Well, Olivia might very well have been with someone else other than Kevin, the girl did have other friends after all, but Kevin did seem to be the most likely candidate.

"Well, if you want to hang out here you're welcome to stay." Vita offers, "Mum has a work thing and won't be back until late and I made way too many cookies to eat all alone." Vita grins, perfectly alright with the idea of using bribes to buy her friend's time. Besides, Vita would like to get to know Tommy better. She is honestly rather surprised that they hadn't met earlier, considering that he was her best friend's brother.

"Really? You'd let me stay?" he asks quickly, only to mentally scold himself for his brashness. Over-excitement wasn't something everyone tolerated, he reminded himself. Floundering on the outside, Tomás quickly struggles for his words, "I mean-...you know, I wouldn't want to impose. If your mom doesn't allow company when she's gone I wouldn't want to get you in trouble." Truth be told he wanted nothing more than to stay. He liked Victoria, even if they hadn't talked much. She was easy to talk to when they actually got to talking-...not to mention kind. If he got on so well with Elijah he wouldn't doubt that he and Victoria would hit it off.

Vita gives a warm laugh before nodding. "My mum wouldn't mind at all. Anyway, I think she's getting sick of seeing Liv around so much, I think she'd be glad to see proof that I actually have other friends." Vita is joking of course, she doubts her mother could ever be sick of Olivia. Ruth Holmes is always, without fail, pleased to see the girl when she comes to visit.

"Grab the plate, we can go into the lounge if you want?" Vita says as she quickly covers the cookies still on the baking tray with a tea towel. Despite being a rather self-assured, confident kind of person, Vita has a momentary moment of anxiety. She hopes she hasn't forced Tommy into staying, she'd hate it if he was simply too polite to refuse. Then again, if what he'd said before was any indication he did actually want to stay. Pushing aside any uncertainty Vita smiles at him and indicates him to follow her into the more comfortable living room.

She doesn't see his nod as she walks out of the room but he hastily follows her with the plate in his hand as she goes. He makes himself comfortable at her side, sniffing the air discreetly to inhale the scent of his surroundings. It smells like home; like his own in some aspects and yet completely different in others. Regardless, he's surprised at how comfortable he feels, smiling pleasantly as his anxiety quells and he's sat on the couch. "Thank you for letting me stay, Vita." he says shyly, looking down at the plate of cookies in his lap, "It's kind of pathetic but I-...I don't really like being alone."

The television has the remaining minutes if a nature documentary that had earlier caught Vita's attention. As the pair take a seat on the couch she grabs the remote and turns the volume down, as much she wants to know how the Komodo Dragon kills its prey she would rather talk with Tommy. She angles herself towards him and smiles as he admits his dislike of loneliness. "Thanks for staying." Vita responds first, "And hey, it's not pathetic. Everyone has their own things. I don't like goats." Vita shivers and makes a face, "Like I really don't like them."

Her reassurance helps more than words can say. She actually wants him to stay. At first, the hell hound can't believe his ears. Sure he's not exactly a social pariah but he isn't exactly normal either. He doesn't know what it is but somehow having someone like Victoria—someone who knows of Azazel and what knowing him might entail—wanting to get to know him meant so much more than someone like the member of his lacross team. Laughing openly at her hatred towards goats, Tomás grins, falling into a state of ease as he jests, "Not even the cute fainting ones?"

Vita shakes her head, smiling despite the subject, "Not even those ones." Vita admits, she bites her lip and leans in conspiratorially, "They actually scare the living daylights out of me. The big ones that is, the fainting ones aren't that bad." Vita laughs at herself and shrugs, logically she knows they can't actually hurt her, but when has fear ever been logical?

"Don't feel bad." Tomás says, quick to reassure her and (quite surprisingly) not quick to laugh at her expense. "Want to know a secret? I have a crippling fear of mannequins. Scout's honor." he lifts his hand, holding up two fingers as the other clasps over his heart. Dropping them to his lap, the hell hound gives a shrug of his own. "Do I know their inanimate and can't hurt me? Yeah. But they still creep me the Hell out."

Vita smiles, pleased to know she is the only one around with an irrational fear. "Right, well next time we're faced with goats and mannequins, you take the goats and I'll take the mannequins." Vita grins as she tries to imagine a situation where the two would come up against such a pairing.

Vita takes a cookie and bites into it, pulling up a leg at the same time and wrapping her free arm around it. "Okay, so we know each other's fear. What about what you like? What's your favourite TV show?"

Tomás chuckles as he too finds a scenario where those two fear co-exist to be outrageous and funny. He watches as she grabs a cookie from her lap and wonders briefly if he should put the plate on the table before his thoughts are derailed by Victoria's inquiry. His answer comes easy, "Supernatural," he says, "Olivia introduced it to me. What about yours?"

Vita waves her hand towards the television, where the credits have just began to roll for the nature documentary she had been watching earlier. "As nerdy as it sounds, my favourite show is any kind of nature documentary, especially if it's narrated by David Attenborough" Vita makes herself more comfortable on the couch before presenting Tomás with her idea, "How about we play 20 question? You ask me, I answer, I ask you one, you answer." It may have been incredibly corny, but it was a good way to satisfy curiosity quickly.

Averting his gaze to the television screen, his smile softens at the admittance. As incredibly nerdy as it may be to some to enjoy watching National Geographic, Tomás actually admired her for it. If he had the attention span for it, he'd probably watch it himself. When he's asked about playing twenty questions, he's almost ecstatic by the suggestion. He hasn't played that in forever. Not since he first met Olivia actually. Placing the plate on the table, he resigns in getting himself more comfortable on the couch, turning more inward to face Victoria head on. "Sure, I'd love to play." he grins, "Ladies first?"

Vita does a mock curtsey, or as close to one as she can accomplish in a seated position. "Thank you." She says, before tilting her head slightly as she searched her mind for a good question. She has a few, but decides to go easy on him for the first question. "What's your favourite book?"

That question's a hard one. It's like asking someone to pick their favorite movie. "Uhh-..." Tomás drones, thinking aloud, "I don't really have one. I guess if I could pick one to read for the rest of my life it'd be the Lord of the Rings series, but I can't really pick just one. What's yours? Just out of curiosity-..."

"Perhaps I should have asked what's one of your favourite books." Vita concedes, she understands that it isn't always easy to pick a singular favourite, particularly regarding books when there are so many good ones. However, when asked in turn what her favourite is Vita has no hesitation in answering, "Catch-22." She shrugs, explaining why she holds the book so dear is tough, it really just comes down the feeling she gets from it.

"I've never read it." Tomás admits, "Not to judge a book by it's cover but I don't really read anything suggestion on the summer reading list. I might do it now though," the since it's your favorite goes unsaid. Before he can dwell on it for too long, Tomás steamrolls on, "My turn-...uh. Oh! What's your favorite season? Mine's summer."

"Oh, I'd highly recommend it." Vita says enthusiastically before turning her thoughts to the seasons, "Tough question." She admits, "I like winter because skiing is great and there's always something magical about the first proper snow... although I'd probably have to say my favourite is summer too." Vita nods, content with her answer.

"Yeah?" Tomás grins, "Why's that?"

Vita shrugs, "I guess because you can do so much more in summer. Hiking, running, stargazing. I mean you can technically do them in winter too... if you want to freeze in the process." Vita may enjoy winter sports, but they usually included wearing big, warm jackets and gloves, which usually kept the cold out.
"Anyway, my turn for a question." Vita racks her mind for one, gently tapping her chin as she concentrates, only stopping when she thinks of one, "Do you have any tattoos?"

Nodding in agreement to her explanation, Tomás patiently awaits her questions, smiling in encouragement. When it's asked, he doesn't have to think twice, "I have four."

"Can I see them?" Vita asks, before a smirk breaks across her face, "Or are they somewhere... private?"

Tomás blushes brilliantly in a matter of seconds, all the way up to the tips of his ears. "Uhh, well-..." he chuckles, "I'd have to take my shirt off to show you one of them."

Vita actually wouldn't be too opposed to Tommy taking his shirt off, after all he plays lacrosse so it only follows that he would have a pretty good body, but she doesn't want to make him feel uncomfortable merely for the sake of showing off a tattoo.
"What about the other three? Can I see them?" Vita asks instead, "You could always describe the one on your chest if that's easier."

"I wouldn't really mind-..." he admits, blushing still, "I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable." Tomás has never been self-conscious about his body, especially after becoming a hell hound, so taking his shirt off wasn't the problem. He just didn't want to catch her off guard by whipping off his shirt in the middle of an art show.

Vita shakes her head, "I'm totally cool with it." She assures him.

Tomás immediately perks up, "Okay, well here-..." Sitting off the edge of the couch, bends at the waist, pulling up the hem of his right pants leg all the way up to the knee before turning it so Victoria could see the ink on his calf. "This one I got recently, I think it looks really cool. I got it for my brother, Mathias. He used to like zombies and listen to a lot of rock and roll. And then these-..." Taking off his jacket, Tomás hangs it over the back of the couch and lifts up his shirt sleeve on his left arm revealing two different tattoos. "The DB are my grandmother's initials and I got the 'B' to look like a music note because she was a music composer. That was the second tattoo I ever got. These lines I got after that and they relate to my price in a way, sort of a mark I found in lore." Dropping his hand to the hem of his shirt, he lifts it up and over his head, turning slightly to reveal his other one, "This is my first one. I got it for my mom-...she was kind of a drama geek."

Vita watches as Tomás reveals each tattoo, enjoying both inspecting each and hearing the story behind them. Vita typically isn't someone who blushes easily, but as Tommy takes his shirt off to reveal his last tattoo a light blush colours her face. Vita tries very hard to focus only on Tomás' tattoo and not the rest of his bare chest. The painful thing is that she knows she won't even be able to talk to Olivia about this later as her friend would no doubt tease Vita to Hell and back for checking out her brother.
"I like it when people have tattoos that mean something." She says a moment later, resolutely looking Tommy in the eye rather than his chest. "I got this one after my own brother died." She adds, pulling her own sleeve back and revealing the tattoo on her wrist, "'A.H' for Andrew Holmes."

Something changed—not in their interactions or the overall atmosphere but the smell. When he lifts his shirt up he can detect a spike in Victoria's scent. The rich honey aroma almost became heating, warming until it became rich in the hell hound's nose. He did his best to ignore it, keeping his eyes trained to his tattoo while he told himself not to look too much into it. Looking up from the drama masks, Tomás meets Victoria's gaze with a soft smile as she speaks, his eyes drifting to her wrist as she calls attention to it. He knows what it's like to lose a brother so, in a way, they were kindred spirits. "I bet he was great," he says. He doesn't ask how he died or ask when it happened. To him, the loss of a loved one differs from person to person. He lost his brother but his grief was completely different from hers. Comparing sob stories usually ends up with one trying to trump the other and Tommy doesn't want to remember a life ike that. In an effort to change the subject, he meets Victoria's gaze with a meek smile, completely forgetting his naked torso, "I suppose it's my turn to ask a question, huh?"

"He was." Vita says simply, her interest in Tommy's chest momentarily subdued. She remembers her brother fondly, but it's a memory still tinged with pain. So she's grateful when Tommy speaks again. There's no use dwelling on the subject of deceased loved ones and Vita nods eagerly in reply to Tomás question, also happy to move the conversation on, "Ask away."

"Alright-..." he smiles, dark eyes rolling heavenwards in thought. Soon he gets an idea and his eyes widen along with his grin and he looks at Victoria with eagerness, "What's your favorite planet?"

"It's got to be Mercury." Vita says after a moment of thought, "You can see it some mornings and evenings and it has the greatest temperature variations on its surface of all the planets, which is crazy since you'd think it would always be super hot being that close to the sun." She explains, perhaps a little too enthusiastically. Her little telescope in her room is only just powerful enough to make the small planet out, but she'd visited the nearest observatory a few times and had been given a much better view of the planet there. "Although I do feel sorry for Pluto getting kicked out of the gang." Vita adds, smiling at the analogy, "What's yours?"

Tomás practically beams at Victoria's enthusiam. It's endearing, really. He likes seeing someone so passionate in something, even if it's just a planet. Especially when it's Victoria and her eyes practically sparkle in the light of her happiness, "Mine's Uranus." he answers quickly, without giggling (which merits a reward in itself, really.) "I bet you'll never guess why."

Victoria quirks an eyebrow at Tommy's answer, pursuing her lips as she tries not to smirk at it. "Alright, why is it your favourite? I'm all ears." She asks, eager to hear the reasoning behind this.

"It's the only planet in our solar system that's orbital rotation is on its side." Tomás says matter-of-factly, practically preening with self-pride. "Plus, it's funny whenever I say it's my favorite and people get the disappointed look in their eyes. You know, because they automatically assume I'm immature and I like it because of it's name."

"I bet." Vita replies, grinning at Tommy. She has to admit that she's thoroughly enjoying their time together. Tomás is easy to talk to, funny, and not bad to look at either. Vita's eyes drift down Tommy's collar bone, where she has to consciously stop them before she's caught staring at his chest. Instead she turns her eyes towards the television where some celebrity gossip show has replaced her nature doco. While she might not particularly like such trashy shows, it has given Vita inspiration for her next question.
"Who is your celebrity crush? If you have one."

"Emma Watson," he replies easily, blushing slightly as he manages a chuckle, "I've had a crush on her since the Prisoner of Azkaban came out." He doesn't know why but admitting a celebrity crush on a girl to a girl is a lot harder than telling a guy friend-...or his sister. Then again, Victoria's the first girl he ever really talked to about crushes so he doesn't have much for comparison. "What about you?"

"All of One Direction and Justin Bieber too." Vita answers swiftly, although her lie is quickly revealed as she begins to laugh. Oh god, imagine that. No, hmm, let me think of someone proper..." Vita muses softly as she searches her brain. She's not having problems thinking of a celebrity crush, merely selecting her favourite of the bunch. "Maybe Chris Hemsworth? He was pretty sweet as Thor, and he's got that Australian accent." Vita finally says, although her choice could just as easily have been any of a handful of other men.

Tomás laughs right along with her as she jests. He's practically on cloud nine. It isn't just that he isn't alone, but he's making a new friend. Victoria's a lot easier to joke around with than he first thought. When he stops over-thinking everything and just lets himself relaxed, he isn't the stammering idiot he starts off to be. When she makes her decision, the hell hound honestly can't blame her for whom she chose. "Thor is pretty great." he says, shifting his gaze to grab a cookie only to catch his naked torso in his peripheral. He blushes slightly, having completely forgotten that he was shirtless. "Oh crap!" he exclaims, scrambling for his shirt. He tries putting it on and gets caught for a moment, his shirt stuck around his head before he tugs it down. "S-Sorry about that. I totally forgot-..."

Vita tries not to laugh as Tommy suddenly seems to notice that he's half naked. He rushes to cover up, getting his shirt caught over his head in the process and giving Vita a clear view of just how ripped Tomás was. She regretfully draws her eyes back up to Tommy's face as he finally manages to tug the shirt down. "It's alright, I didn't mind the view." Vita replies to Tomás' apology before she can catch herself. She didn't actually mean to say that out loud. Silently cursing herself Vita ducks her head and, spotting the now empty plate that once held the cookies, picks it up. "I'll just take this into the kitchen." She mutters, quickly retreating.

He's surprised when he hears her reply, blushing only a little as their gazes meet in mild shock. Victoria's scent sours slightly in embaressment as she rushes for an out. Honestly? Tomás thinks it's one of the cutest things in the world. He doesn't fight the grin that comes with her compliment and instead watches her go. Only when she's out of the room does he receive a text message. It's from Azazel, asking him to get home as soon as he can. He's almost disapointed. Tomás doesn't want to go home, not yet anyway, but the tone in his father's text can only mean it's something important. Getting up, he grabs his jacket and wanders into the kitchen, peeking his head around the corner, "Hey-...Victoria?"

By this stage Vita's embarrassment has settled slightly and she's able to respond to Tommy with her usual ease, "Yeah, I'm in here." She says, straightening up from putting the cookie plate in the dishwasher to find Tommy peering around the corner.

Giving her a small wave, he enters the kitchen was a sad smile. "Da—I mean, Azazel just sent me a text. He says he wants me home."

"Already?" Vita asks, feeling mildly disappointed that Tommy was leaving already. Then Vita smiles, it wasn't like they didn't go to the same school. "Alright, well thanks for hanging out with me. I had fun, we should do it again sometime."

"Definitely," he replies, smiling in relief, "I was going to say the same thing." Then Tomás pauses for a moment, hesitant before he acts but then decides he might as well take the chance. Opening his arms, he gives Victoria his classic puppy dog eye treatement and asks, "Hug goodbye?"

There's no way Vita can deny those big eyes, the puppy dog look gets her every time, be it from an actual puppy or the young man standing before her now. With a warm smile on her face she moves forward into Tommy's arms, wrapping her own around his frame. His embrace is decidedly comforting and she's hesitant to leave.

"Tell Liv when you see her that if she doesn't reply to you again she'll have me to deal with." Vita advices as she pulls back. It's really more empty advice than anything as she doubts that Liv would take the threat seriously.

Tomás melts into the embrace, almost sighing in contentment as he wraps his arms around her, especially now that her scent is so close. He's reluctant to let her go as she pulls away but he lets her, knowing if he didn't they'd be stuck in that hug forever. "Will do. I'll see you soon, okay?"

"Count on it." Vita replies, before leading the way back to the front door. She opens it and steps aside, leaning against the door as she gazes outside. "Drive safe." She adds, spotting his motorbike.

"Count on it," he says with a salute, grinning as he jogs off towards his bike. Holding his helmet in his hand as he straddles it, he looks up and sees Victoria still standing there. He winks at her before shoving the helmet onto his head and starting it, reving the engine and backing out of the driveway.

Vita gives Tommy a last wave, grinning as he winks at her. Once he's made it to the street and out of sight Vita closes the door. She can't say that she disliked the unexpected visit, in fact quite the opposite. She jokingly thinks that she'll have to tell Liv to ignore Tommy again so that he'll come back.
