Powers: Uses shadows as doorways/portals, can use shadows to create silhouettes, grabs weapons by transporting them through shadows. Only black can use his powers
Personality:Icarus is shy and quiet. abhors violence, and usually tries to talk his way out of trouble. He has a phobia of darkness. Black is his mind's way of coping with his abilities. He usually stays in the shadows, because that's where he has most control over Icarus. He fights dirty, but will do the noble thing when it suites him. hates rules and does his best to break them.
History: All his life, Icarus has been terrified of the dark. When he was young, his parents had a big fight. they were always arguing, but that night was the worst yet. His father came into his room, drunk and yelling at Icarus, who was only six. He hated that Icarus still couldn't sleep with the hall light off and his door cracked. to teach him a lesson, he locked the door and turned off the lights. Icarus screamed as his father beat him. He wanted nothing more than to be gone, far away from this man, or rather, he wanted this man as far away from him as he could imagine. suddenly, the blows stopped. His father was gone, but the darkness remained. Young icarus crawled into bed and wrapped himself in his blankets until his mother got the door open. His father was gone, and would never be found. Somewhere on the dark side of the moon, His father's face stood frozen. locked in horror as a silent scream dominated his features. his eyes had exploded from the sudden loss of pressure. He would never hurt anyone again.
Since then, Icarus couldn't stand to be anywhere without a light. Whenever he was in a dark place, and couldn't escape it, His imaginary friend, Mr.Black would take over to shelter him. Over time, Black became stronger, and began talking to Icarus, even when he was in the light. It was in high school that black became fully aware of 'their gift' as he called it. A group of kids were picking on him, calling him freak and belittling him, for talking to his 'imaginary friend.' They made the mistake of shoving him into a locker. there, surrounded by darkness, black was in control. He disappeared and was never seen again by anyone at the school. that night, the bullies also vanished, never to be seen again. They had gone to join his father. Evil people he banished into darkness
Icarus and black have been running ever since.
Other: Icarus is highly schizophrenic. Black takes control when he's under great mental and physical duress.
