Scarlett thought, as she arrived at first period, already in her gym clothes. This was going to be hard on her foot, and she knew that for a fact. She was really going to fail in class today. Groaning, she walked into class. There were cones, which Scarlett didn't know what to interpret from them, other than they were going to do something today. She sat on the bleachers, and listened as the teacher rambled on about what they were going to do. This was the first time she didn't take notes; mostly because she wasn't in the mood, and secondly, right now all she wanted to do was disappear.
Scarlett shook her head, stop thinking that!
She commanded herself, frowning slightly. Before she could take out her notebook, which she had just ordered herself to get, people were getting off the bleachers, and getting in lines...
Turned out they were doing some running exercise which didn't please Scarlett in the slightest bit. When they were done, she didn't hesitate to get out of the room. Then, out of nowhere, there was the demon, again, with her phone.
Hope he didn't look at my texts...
She thought.

"...I'll just keep it in my locker for a few days..."
Looking at him, she couldn't help but feel the slightest bit bad, he was obviously in pain...Sinking her teeth into her lip, She hesitated, before she slowly asked the words,
"Errr....Are you okay?"

Scarlett muttered. She looked at the floor, and lightly scratched the back of her head.
"Um...I, err, I don't think concussions are really something to shrug about..."
She was biting her lip to the point of bleeding.

"I-I don't know...It's not usually I care about someone who tried to kill me."
She admitted, shrugging slightly.
"..And it's not like I don't care about others..."
She added slowly.
"Why do you care if I care?"
Scarlett then asked, lifting her head up, but only so she could see his face.

"I'm not all angel, you know."
She pushed her hair behind her ears, and sighed deeply.
"..."

Scarlett muttered.
"Whatever,"
She shook her head, and looked at him, arching her eyebrow slightly.
"You can?"

"Not that I would know,"
She smiled, once again pushing her hair out of her face.
"So annoying..."
She muttered, referring to the strand of hair that refused to stay behind her ear.

"I'm not that powerless..."
But it wasn't very loud, so the demon couldn't hear.
"It would be funny, but I need to focus on the teacher, I'll slip in as the door closes."
She nodded, smirking, as she opened the door.

It annoys me that it doesn't bother me as much as it should,
She thought.
Oh well.

"I was wondering, what's your name?"
She asked.
"You know mine, so I might as well know yours."
She said, referring to when the teacher said her name, earlier in second period.
At the end of the day, head pounding more than ever, Jarrob headed to his locker, opening it and placing his head against the one next to it. The cool metal did little to soothe his aching head. "I was wondering, what's your name? You know mine, so I might aas well know yours." He knew that voice. He doubted he'd ever be able to forget it. The Angel who cared and spared, the girl who changed and complicated literally everything he had thought was true, was one hundred percent fact. Now he was confused.
Jarrob hiked his backpack onto his shoulder, closing the door that seperated them. Looking downwards, he responded: "Jarrob," he whispered, barely audible, somewhat reluctantly. What if she tracked him? Reported him? But why would she do that? If she wished him harm she would've just killed him... Wouldn't she. Well, unless she was a spy, gathering information... Oh crap. "My name's Jarrob."
"Jarrob...I can see a lot of teachers mistaking that for Jarrod."
She said, thoughtfully.
"Alright then. That's all I wanted to know."
She smiled, and walked off just like that...
