Description: - James is the epitome of a King in nearly every aspect of his appearance . His eyes match the color of steel, a cool greyish blue, glinting like the flash of one sword hitting another, you can tell a lot by his eyes, wether he be Sad, Angry or Joyous, his eyes betray his every emotion. He has several laugh lines around his face that contrast with his hardened appearance, letting everyone around him know that he smiles and jests just like any other man. His strong jaw is his best feature, prominent and strong much like his father before him. The blonde hair he shares with his sister, albeit his is quite a few shades darker, it is always kept in place, cut by the best in the castle in order to give him a look of cleanliness and order. At a staggering 6'3, he manages to tower over most of his subjects and many family members. He typically uses his height as means to tease his sister and brother whenever he gets the chance. His body is made up of toned muscle, developed from years of battle training and horse ridding, giving him also extremely strong calves. Years of swordplay has left him with a plethora of scars, cuts and bruises. As a fighter and swordsman, each one has a story and gives him a sense of pride, his rough callous hands are another indicator of his love of swordplay and horse riding.
Preferred Clothing: James is a lover of fine things, whether it be food, wine, women, so as you can expect it is the same when it comes to his clothing. Although when training he prefers to wear his dark leathers for practicality sake, the rest of the time he can be found in fine tunics, donning his family's red and gold colours along with their royal emblem. James isn't overly fond of jewels, he believes them to make a man look sissy, he only wears them when absolutely necessary, he wears his crown quite a bit around court, mainly for his own amusement and too remind his enemies and doubters that he still is the King, although he really does hate it, it's incredibly uncomfortable and heavy. His sword, comically nicknamed 'the virgin' as he has never slain anyone with it yet, never leaves his side, he revered as a child he asked his father why he always carried around his sword, Kind Edward replied "Son, when you become King you will be many things to your people, the first and foremost, you will be their protector, hence why I always have my sword on my persons, I am ready to draw it at any moment at anything that may do them harm." He carries that bit of wisdom with him now, he must always be ready.

He arranged for the Duke to marry his Sister. Which brings to light another fear of James's, he fears loosing his sister to this man.

Personality: James has always had an aggressive fighting aura about him that beckons people to challenge him, and there is nothing James loves more than a challenge. He constantly tests himself, both physically and mentally with anyone willing to banter or train with him. Becoming King and taking his fathers place one day has always been both a dream and a goal to James, and he's taken countless measures to ensure that he could become even greater than his family before him. At times he can be seen as aloof, unaware of his surroundings and the coming and goings of those around him, but rest assured that he is very aware of what happens in his presence. His carefree attitude is mostly a facade for his enemies. If they think him a fool, then they'll treat him as a fool. Only his brother and sister are aware of this, and he plans to keep it that way.
Despite the threat of anyone attempting to usurp him, he remains quite lively. A smile is always dancing across his handsome face, a glint of white teeth flashing at any individual who passes him . It's his humorous attitude that keeps him sane, other than his family. He likes to surround himself with men and women who make him laugh, smile, and forget the feelings of dread that at times threaten to overwhelm him. However, though he might have a few qualities of a good king, the golden haired smiling James does have a dark side to him. He is highly possessive of those around him, including the women that consort with him. He hates losing and while it's rare for him to fly into a rage, when it does happen it's quite a fearsome thing to behold.
