Xara's Story

Dark raised from the ground and looked at the new girl that had just gotten from the bus. He grabbed his knife and stretched his arms out before walking out of the shadows and towards the girl called Xara. He was pale skinned with muscular arms and legs and chest. Dark brown eyes and no hair. He looked at her from a small distance and smiled slightly.

Xara looks around, scared. She wasnt sure what to do. She glanced over at the shadows feeling that there was someone there. She talks a step to the darkness. "Hello?"

Xara nodds slowly still kinda unsure of this strange character. "Uh, right...so do you know where there is a cheep place fore rent? I have got to find somewhere to stay."

Xara lets out a sigh. "Nevermind. Look I've got to go and if you wont help then bye." She turns on her heel and makes her way down the busy street sidestepping people, trying not to attract attention to herself.

Dark looked over at Xara and smiled warmly. ''I will have this more. The government is always trying to improve me and my skills and sometimes it makes me a bit ill. I'm there expiiriment so this will happen more.'' He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again and looking at Xara.

His eyes moved to Rose who walked into the livingroom and was holding three plates of food. He knew she had been in his kitchen but he hadn't thought she would actually cook dinner for herself, Xara and him. As she sat down he opened his mouth to ask something but before it was even half open Rose started to speak. She spoke about her past and that she had had the same kind of childhood as he had had. That was intresting to know that she had grown up in a lab. He didn't know anyone else that had grown up in the lab so was actually a bit glad that je had met someone else.

He nodded after she had finished what she wanted to say and sat up slowly. He took his plate on his lab and started eating. He didn't eat a lot though because after a few seconds he was bent over the toillet, throwing up. After he finished he walked back and sat back down on the couch, looking at Xara first and then at Rose.

Dark watched Xara leave confused and stood up. Although dizzy he walked after her but from a distance. He never knew what the lab had done but he knew it wasn't gone. He saw a bit dubble too. Still, he walked after Xara. This town was strange and had a lot of dangers and he didn't want Xara to get hurt. He had lost to much in his life to loose what seemed like a friend. He could see she probably had lost someone too. She probably thought it was all her fault, just like he had. He hoped he was wrong but somewhere he almost knew he wasn't wrong but right. He sighed.

At once, a lightning flashed through the sky, a boom and than it started to rain very hard. He sighed as he got soaked but he kept following Xara. He saw a car racing right towards her, seeming unable to stop in time he raced towards her and quikly pushed her aside before stopping the car a few metres away from Xara. He pulled the driver from his seat and looked at the man. ''Never do that again!'' he growled before a crowd started to gather. Only then he noticed the pain in his arms and hands. He cursed under his breath and walked to Xara, the crowd following him.

Dark turned around, his eyes clouded. ''I should go right now or this town turns into nothing more than empty buildings, bodies and blood covered streets.'' He looked at Rose and smiled faintly. ''Take Xara back. The rain will be getting worse,'' he said, quikly covering his hands and pulling down his soaked tanktop.
