Steve has a very artistic mindset, usually tinkering with broken mining equipment. He will fix what you ask him to, but he will most likely try to make it different & better than it was before.

Level 1 Mining Suit, Steve's modified Plasma Cutter, Gravity Boots, and an Arc Welder.
History
Steve was drafted to the ENCARTA after a major meltdown he caused. He started out as a computer tinkerer, and the habit stuck with him through college. His various "accidents" have led him to be an Mining Equipment engineer, so he can have more time to tinker than anything else.
