[It has always been hard for her growing up under Giada's shadow. When she was younger it always seemed like he was spending more time with her, than herself. All of her life, Carlita, wanted to be the perfect girl for her father. She followed every rule he had, and even developed some of his habits. Once she was caught holding his gun, and that was the last time she touched one. Their mother always tried to make time for her. Instead of being a father's girl like she had dreamed of, Carlita wound up being her mother's daughter instead. When the woman died, Carlita viewed it as her last tie to the family. Why was she even trying? Carlita felt as if her father really didn't love her. The main culprit however was Giada. It has been hard for her to grow out of that idea, but Carlita has tried to re-establish their relationship.
