"Ah, bloodshed. An artform that is intimidating, beautiful and DELICIOUS!"

0 · 376 views · located in Temana

a character in “Deathwing”, as played by Grimpunker96

Description

Description: Black, necklength hair, blood red eyes, pale skin, black trenchcoat, pants, boots, and gray shirt.

Picture:Image
Werebat form:Image Black fur, glowing red eyes, yellow fangs and claws, and without the guards on his wrists. And no tail.
Werebat form face:Image

Personality

Personality: Sadistic, insane and loves to kill. He is very arrogant, and is so heartless that sometimes he decides to kill his own slaves, or even other vampires, just to test his skills. He often loves to annoy his father, and is also very aloof around his family The only people he considers to be worth his time is his siblings.
Beliefs: That humans exist only so vampires could feed off of them and kill them or sport.
Fears: Strong humans, people seeing his flaws.
Likes: Blades, fighting, blood, the colors black and red, killing things, proving people wrong.
Dislikes: Humans, especially the resistance, his father, the sun, public speeches, human happiness (it disgusts him)
Interests: The night, human determination, weapons (esp. swords), mythology, Edgar Allen Poe literature, or dark literature in general, the human anatomy, human emotions.
Strengths: Sadistic to the point where he feels no guilt, an experienced swordsman, his werebat form.
Weaknesses: Often fails to think things through, and also, sometimes his insanity and confidence are a huge weakness.

Equipment

Ability: Bat transformation. He can transform into a small bat, a swarm of bats, or his favorite, a monstrous, humanoid, bat creature. This form isn't as strong and fast as that of a vampire with superspeed or super strength, but is somewhat stronger and faster than humans and average vampires. In this form, he has powerful wings and razorsharp fangs and claws. Also, he can create vampire bats with his own body, for example, he can extend his arm and vampire bats fly out. This is done by transforming bits of his body , and turning them into bats, which he can telepathically control, communicate with, and see and hear everything they do. If a bat gets killed, Nicholas can regenerate the piece of his body that the bat was made from, but only that part.

History

Age: 250 (18 human years)
bitten by: He was born this way.
Other: He carries around a sword.
Bio: The prince of the Deathwing family, along with his twin brother, Chase. He despises the humans, but, he has fun challenging them to duels and such. He does not agree with the his father's philosophy that all humans should be enslaved. Instead, he believes that humans are too weak to be slaves, and should be killed on sight or hunted for sport. Because of this, he is often seen roaming around during the day slaughtering humans as gruesomely as he can, be it in his normal form or in his werebat form. He also challenges vampires to duel occasionally, as a way to bump up his status. Unfortunately for them, he usually kills them.

So begins...

Nicholas stood on top of a hill a fair distance away from his home, and that overlooked a city.

"Well, now. It seems I have to go hunting for food, because one of the slaves was rather late with my breakfast." He chuckled to himself, as he was engulfed by a puff of smoke, emerging as a swarm of vampire bats flying towards the city. He (or they, rather) flew into a dark alleyway, where a teenage girl was walking into, shortly after.

"If I hurry up, I can make it home quickly. It's still kinda dark out. God, why did I decide to walk home, instead of just going with my friends?" She muttered nervously to herself. She looked around in the darkness frantically, because she heard some noises. "H-hello? Oh, it must of been my imagination... I hope." she said, with fear. Nicholas' glowing eyes glimmered in the shadows, right before charging at the girl, who just managed to back out of his reach at the last second, attempting to make a run for it. "Yes, yes. Good. Running always gets the blood flowing. Plus, it makes me feel all tingly inside when my prey amuses me with pathetic attempts to escape like this." He chuckled, walking slowly towards her. "Question is, which method is the most entertaining way to kill you? Should I choke you, drink your blood, or rip your spine out of your back and suck on it like a straw? Or, should I just slice you up and lick all your remains?" he cackled.

The girl glanced behind her, frightened, when suddenly, she tripped. She looked behind her, petrified, as Nicholas came closer. "P-please! Don't!" She stuttered. She screamed, her shrieks echoing throughout the city.

"Please, don't scream. Then I would have to kill you faster, because I'll get annoyed. I want to experience every second of your painful last moments in this world." Nicholas said with a very sly grin.

The helpless scream of the girl reached Rondine's room too. It was not so loud that a human or an normal vampire could hear but to Rondine's sharply tarined sences, it was pretty clear. Someone was being attacked in the hunting grounds. 'Ah, what the.... I guess I owe the humans one this time when I just saw a human selling humans....' Rondine said in a low murmer. Actually, he was just in a very bad mood and wanted something to do. His right arm started to get bigger and white and spread over his body making a white protective cloak. His left arm also changed into a black metal clawed hands. "Time to move." he said as he opened the window and jumped into the air.

It didn't take very long to reach the call point of the matter. He landed on the roof of building next to a dark ally. In the ally, it was easy to see that a girl was lieing on the ground alive or dead he did not know but a vampire was pearing over the girl. As he saw, a man suddenly ran into the ally and then, started to shoot guns at the vampire. "Wait, those are the guys who were fallowing me. I couldn't read completly well how many there were but I was surtain that there were more then one. Where's the rest??" he murmered to himself.

The girl managed to stand back up, but did not really have a way out. Nicholas crept closer. "You know, each person's blood tastes different. I wonder what yours tastes like." He chuckled. Suddenly, he heard a couple footsteps that were getting louder by the second. "You see, dear? This is the exact reason why you shouldn't scream when you're about to die." He said." "Yo, leech, take this!" he heard a voice shout from behind them, followed by the sound of gunshots. His eyes widened, and then he gave a sly grin as he transformed into a swarm of bats, which flew out of his trenchcoat and into the air. As he flew up, he saw a man with a large, demonic arm. Then the stream of bullets hit the girl, knocking her towards the wall, screaming. After a couple seconds of silence, Nicholas transformed back, putting on his trenchcoat again.

"Oh, pity. It seems your recklessness cost this poor, innocent girl her life. How tragic." he said dryly, turning towards the one who fired at him. Then he turned back to the girl. "Ah, I would say it was a shame because you killed a beautiful girl, but she wasn't. All you humans are ugly, pathetic creatures to me. It's amusing how you think you can avoid the inevitable, however. I love your work on this girl, boy. Each bullet hole is a perfect distance from the rest, with a perfect amount of blood dripping from every open wound. I'm rather surprised you were able to do something this gruesome. Then again, that's what you get for being rude. It's not polite to interrupt a person when they're about to have a meal." He cackled. He put his hand on a particularly blood soaked part of her body, and the licked his fingers. He heard more footsteps shortly after. He turned and saw a man with a coward by his side. "Well, this is interesting." He chuckled.

'Ah, I was a fool to have showed myself... Well, the guy turned into a warmbat so he would have found me sooner or later but being discovered makes it hard to get the girl out of there...' Rondine thought. He was going to save the girl anyhow but that did not mean that he wanted to fight a vampire. He's plan was to use his right arem to control the white cloak, use one of it's strip of meterial and grab the girl out of there during the fight. 'Well, since I've been discovered, I might as well try the peace policy.' he thought. "Um... I kind of come in peace..... I know it's a kind of a hard situation for you people to understand but first, you there, vampire. To you, this is just a meal time but to them, it's a matter of life or death. Now please don't tell me that you enjoy the supiriority you feel is too great to ignore and please, will you please except my invitation for a meal at a restaurent with me? The meal's on me.. And humans, please lower your guns... As I said, to him, this is a meal time. If somebody just came threw your meal on the ground, you won't be feeling very gentleman like." he said. "I'll attack the first one to attack. I am neither with the humans or the vampires." he added.

(Um.... Wait, when did I come down from the roof??? And how did you see me mr Nicolas????)

"You were gonna' kill her anyway. I just made it quicker," Edan spat, trying to ignore the fact that the vampire was drinking from the girl. Just then, Cable and Jerry sped around the corner. "We came...as fast...as...we could," panted Jerry. Then he looked up at the roof. "Oh, look! That's the vampire we were f-" "Shut up, Jerry," Cable growled. "Well, this is interesting," the vampire said. Jerry gave a small shriek and stepped behind Cable. "For Gods Sake, Jerry!" Cable barked. "What the hell are you guys doing here?" Edan asked. "What are you doing here?" Cable replied. "You had specific orders!" Edan rolled his eyes and stepped back so that the two vampires were in view.

Lora approached the door cautiously. Why am I doing this again? she thought to herself. I shouldn't leave. Who knows what the consequences will be? Lora stopped with her hand on the doorknob. I have to toughen up. she thought, but she still didn't move. Aww, who am I kidding, I'm a wimp! It was Matt that was the brave one. Lora released the doorknob and sat down, back against the door.

(OOC: Oh crap. I guess I skimmed through that part by accident. It was late and I felt bad for keeping you guys waiting. I slightly edited my post now, though)

Nicholas looked at Rondine and chuckled at his proposal, which soon turned into a cackle. "I find your attempt to make peace between us amusing. Humans and vampires could never co-exist happily. And, if I had no intention of killing the girl, if I considered this action of mine as just having a meal, then I would have went to the nearest bloodbank, or perhaps feed off the blood of animals. No, I kill for the thrill of the hunt. The snack is just a bonus. The pain your kind suffers at the hands of mine, is merely entertainment for me" He cackled again.

He then looked at Edan. " Really, now? No guilt over murdering one of your own? One that you could have saved if you didn't let your bloodlust towards your enemy consume you?" He laughed, turning his back to him. "Well, then perhaps you and I aren't so different after all."

He turned his head, glancing at Jerry's blade, as he was quivering behind the other man. "Ah, at last. someone who appreciates the lost art of swordsmanship." He said, with a small, but somehow relieved and happy sounding growl. He then unsheathed his sword, turned, and dashed at Jerry, with his blade in his hand. "Have at thee, then!" He screamed with delight.

"I didn't know there were vampires enough to apriciate the art of the sword. This has been the main weapon of the world for centuries.." Rondine mumbled as he put his right hand and grabed his left arm. With a little queezy feeling, he pulled on his left arm and transformed his left into the huge cross drawen sword he used. It was a huge double edged sword with white (or silvery) background with a black cross drawen on the wide blade. The handle was white with gold decoration and a glod cross hang from a chian at the tip. "Stand back if you'd like to keep your heads!" he said and jumped off the roof. He wasn't aiming for any place fatail but if the Vampire didn't pull back, he would at least lose his arm. He really didn't want to fight but he was a guy who lived by his words. He really didn't thought the vampire would just attack the humans but since he did, he would have to protect and attack the vampire due to his words. 'Oh well, I didn't want to fight but they made me. So please someone let the police know that I didn't have anything wrong to do.' he chuckled as he thought of the ancient so called gaurdians when the humans still ruled.

(Grimpunker96, don't worry. I was just saying. But still becareful next time... THANK YOU!!!!)

Nicholas' eyes widened as he heard Rondine shout. He twirled slightly out of the spot his opponent was aiming for, far enough to miss his body, but not his blade. He blocked his sword, and was trying to force his blade to knock away Rondine's, and strike him. "Damn, it appears I'm facing a larger challenge than I thought. Thank you, I was afraid I would have to end the fight earlier than I wanted if I decided to duel the cowardly one." he laughed. Finally, he was able to knock Rondine back a couple inches, which obviously wasn't enough to knock him down. "I appreciate the fact that you kept your word when you said you would battle the first attacker. Obviously, the humans wouldn't stay alive much longer if I dueled them." he cackled, as he took off his trenchcoat, took a deep breath and charged at Rodine.

'He's good... Very good...' was the first empression Rondine got from the attacking vampire. He had fought a lot of battles and unwantingly, killed a lot of peoples vampire and humans. However, he had not seen a aponent that understood the advantages he had and adapt it into actual combat in a short time as such. The sword Rondine used was big, or in other words, huge. It had a thick blade that was mostly for defence not for ofence. And as such did his enemy applied. He used the adventage that his sword was shorter and lighter then his and moved quickly. He didn't have any wounds due to his protective cloack but if he didn't had it on, he might have not been able to stop some minor enjuries. "I appreciate the fact that you kept your word when you said you would battle the first attacker. Obviously, the humans wouldn't stay alive much longer if I dueled them." the vampire chackled. "My pleasure..." Rondine said with a small smile. He had not used the power of his mask yet but he was know thinking that he might need it. His vampire powers got stronger as it stuck more to body. As a result, his cloack was rapping more around him protectivly and strands of white bands was rapped around his arms and legs lending power in his body parts. However, even with that advantage, it was pretty hard to swing a sword with one hand and his mask was his last resort. When he didn't know what the enemy was hiding under his sleeves, he didn't like to use it.

"Hey, there, humans!!! Don't just stand there and watch!!! No, don't even try helping me and run..." he shouted to the humens behind him as he fended off a hole new rounds of the vampire's attacks. He didn't want to stay here very long. He would have backed off sooner but the humans were right there not moving.

Nicholas glanced passed Rondine and saw the humans walking away. "No, I never meet someone without forcing them to remember the experience." He chuckled. He extended his arm and a swarm of bats began emerging from his palm, flying towards the men. They sunk their teeth into different parts of their skin, let go, and bit again.

He laughed at the sight, and then some blood dripped from his palm, so he licked it up, and grabbed his sword with his other hand. "Well, you probably thought they would make it out of here completely intact, right? Wrong." He laughed. Noticing that Rondine's head was the only part of his body that was unprotected, he swung at that, not wounding him that badly, due to the angle and strength of the attack but was able to make him bleed a little bit. He cleaned the blood on his sword with his tongue. "Ah, interesting. You are not completely human, but you are not completely vampire either. I figured as much. Dhampirs like you always follow the false philosophy that you can unite the human and vampire race. Mutts." He hissed.

Rondine had to look and stay still as the bats attacked the humans. "Come on... It's hard enough with only you." he muttered under his breath. As he had learned, between a fights of very well trained people, a slight waver of concentration could end the fight. Rondine had to agree to that word as the vampire's blade made a small wound on his right cheeck. He quickly pulled off and took a stance a few feets away from the vampire. "Ah, interesting. You are not completely human, but you are not completely vampire either. I figured as much. Dhampirs like you always follow the false philosophy that you can unite the human and vampire race. Mutts." he said as he took the blood from his sword and leaked at it. "Well, since I have lived for a good age know, I truely do not believe that humans and vampires could coexist. They are natural enemys made Not to coexist. However, that doesn't mean I have to treat vampires and humans diffrently since I am a half. When I treat a human, I will treat him as a human and when I see a vampire, I will treat him as a vampire..." he said. This was getting too serious. A burst of white cloth came out from cloack. The cloack was made of his own ability and was littraly a part of his body moving as he ordered. He shot the straps of white toward the men who were struggling with the bats and concentrating his canceling powers at the tip, penetrated the bats. He was not able to get all of them but since his powers were to cancel vampire powers like fireballs and dark magic such as summoning bats and ext, it had done the job well. "From now on, this might not be so easy, Mr vampire." Rondine said as he took his stance white straps of cloth pointing toward the vampire like a viper ready to kill. He would have to go offencive now since his aponent wasn't going to back off.

Nicholas glanced over, with an annoyed look on his face. "Stay out of this, brother! That pathetic servant of ours was late with breakfast, so I decided to get my own meal!" He laughed. His eyes widened, as white cloth burst out of his opponent's cloak. His eyes followed it, as it pierced through the bodies of the bats, erasing them. "Interesting." He mumbled to himself, as his palm began to heal. "Clever trick, but my bats can come at you as fast as you can make that cloth." He chuckled, summoning a larger swarm of bats to attack Rondine. He turned around to the other vampire he referred to as his brother. "Any objections, Chase? Why did you come here, anyway? Training again, perhaps?" He asked.

Rondine laughed in his mind as the swarm of bats came at him. 'Well, he seems to get something wrong. The cloth is just a extention of my ability... So say Adios to the bats as soon as they touch me...' he thought as he held his sword tightly in his hand and started to run toward the vampire. Still, the situation itself was not that good. It didn't change that he was only made for close combat and unless he could get very close to the vampire, he couldn't do anything. If the vampire did a long distence attack like the bats on him, he will oviously get exhausted and fall. Also, a new vampire who Rondine just spotted, might decide to help his,... I think brothers, help his brother out. 'I have to get close enough to swing a sword!' Rondine decided as he jumped into the swarm of bats as the ones that touched him got canceled.

'OK, nice. They weren't stupid enough to stay and try to help...' Roindine thought as he fought his way threw the swarm of bats. Even with his powers protecting him and when he had the power to fight and easily win over a couple full grown vampires, Rondine was having a hard time fending himself. The bats were many and they attacked together so even Rondine had to suffer a few bits himself. "Yo, your breakfast has seem to get away, do we really have to fight know? It's pretty ovious we are a pretty even match so why don't we just finish this match before we get into a serious bloodshed? I think I'm getting a little hungry over here and since you seem to be looking for a meal, I'll guess that you are to." Rondine said canceling the last of the bats and jumping a few pases back landing on the match the men had throwen before it could catch onto anything. "My name is Rondine Crossroad. For the information I am a half blood and I like making friends. Since the girl over there is already dead, I don't blame you for anything but if you are going to fight any longer, at least tell me your name so I could remember. Also, that makes it easier for the winner to find me or your house to tell them that he killed him..." Rondine said.

Nicholas looked over to his brother, who was running away. "That's right, brother! Run!" he laughed. "He annoys me, but him and our sister are all I have." He chuckled. After hearing Rondine's reasoning, he sheathed his sword and put his trenchcoat on, turning away. "Very well then, Rondine Crossroad. You make a very valid point." He said. He waited until the humans were far away enough. "Perhaps we shall duel again, one day. Just don't get weaker while I'm gone, because you actually put up a good fight. Thank you for the entertainment." The bats suddenly disappeared and his wounds healed. "My name? My name is Nicholas Deathwing." he said slyly, before transforming into a swarm of bats and flying towards the family castle.

He flew into one of the castle windows, transformed again. He saw his brother on the conch. "Ah, your fangs are longer than usual. Hungry? You know, if you got their earlier, you could of drank from the girl I killed. But that's not you. You're always tardy for everything." He chuckled.

'I fought a Deathwing!!!??!?!?!?!? Wait, so I just fought one of the strongest vampire in the world and the problem is that he wants to fight with me again.... OH I know I'm dead...' Rondine stumbled threw his thought into the sky where the vampire had flowen away after a few minutes of stunness. "Wait,... so those that mean I have to go to the castle to do a duel with the prince or those it mean that he'll come for me?" Rondine muttered as he made his way to the hotel that he lived. In Rondine's mind, he was littraly swimming in the sea of tangled and complex thoughts. He had fought the royal highness and since the prince didn't kill him as it was to be, it ment that he was alive for entertainment for later times or a prince wouldn't have let him go expecially when he had attacked him for some pewny (their discription) humans. "This is messed up... I probably skipped dinner so I'll probably have to visit the blood bank for some blood." Rondine said as he changed his direction to the blood bank in the center of the city.

"Y-You called, master?" Lora stammered, walking into the room where Prince Chase sat. Suddenly, a swarm of bats flies through the window and forms the shape of Prince Nicholas. Lora gave a squeal of surprise and jumped back, before she realized who it was and gave a small bow. Prince Nicholas didn't seem to notice her. "Ah, your fangs are longer than usual. Hungry?" he commented. "You know, if you got their earlier, you could of drank from the girl I killed. But that's not you. You're always tardy for everything." He gave a small chuckle, and Lora walked backwards slowly, trying not to be noticed.

"That was...eventful."
"This is all your fault!"
"What?! How the hell is it my fault?"
"If you had followed orders, we wouldn't have been in that mess!"
Edan rolled his eyes. They were walking towards the butchers, where they knew there was a tunnel to the underground. "You can't order me. I'm not a recruiter, I'm a fighter, remember?" Edan pointed out. "Not a very good one," Jerry muttered. Edan glared at him. They entered the butchers and the smell of the dead overwhelmed them. Edan nodded at Kathy. They began down the tunnels, when Jerry stopped. "What?" Cable asked impatiently. "We forgot about Lucifer!" Jerry exclaimed. Edan cursed and headed back up the tunnel, the other two close behind.
