Appearance description: Rüdiger is quite short, only 5'6", but is fairly heavy set and well muscled. He has short blonde hair and something of a "scowling" face.
Brief bio: Rüdiger joined the Deutsche Marine at the first opportunity he had, seeing it as the perfect life of travel and adventure. He was a little disappointed to discover that it also involved a lot of hard work, but the lifestyle that came with it was a worthwhile trade-off. Unfortunately, his 'leisure' pursuits while on tour earned him a dishonourable discharge. In a particularly damning report, his commanding officer wrote, "Schaffer has used my men to carry him from bar to bar, and my ships to transport his penis from port to port". Since his discharge he has withdrawn all the money he has saved up, and had planned to go on a blow-out binge in Moscow, but like many others had been stumped when flights into Russia were stopped. His only alternative was a passing ferry, bound to St Petersberg.
Inventory on arrival: Utility cut jeans, a tight-fitting long-sleeve black sweater, dark blue denim jacket, chunky blue and yellow trainers. He's carrying both Russian and American currency, a few scraps of paper with the details of some bars, clubs and hotels in Moscow, and a pocketful of condoms.
