| PERSONA |
Elliot's primary mode of living is focused internally, where she deals with things rationally and logically. Her secondary mode is external, where she take things in via her five senses in a literal, concrete fashion. Eli has a compelling drive to understand the way things work. She's good at logical analysis, and like to use it on practical concerns. Typically having strong powers of reasoning, although she's not interested in theories or concepts unless she can see a practical application. She likes to take things apart and see the way they work. Elliot has an adventuresome spirit. She is attracted to motorcycles, airplanes, sky diving, surfing, etc. She thrives on action, and is usually fearless. Eli is fiercely independent, needing to have the space to make her own decisions about their next step. She does not believe in or follow rules and regulations, as this would prohibit her ability to "do her own thing". Her sense of adventure and desire for constant action makes her prone to becoming bored rather quickly. Although she does not respect the rules of the "System", she follows her own rules and guidelines for behavior faithfully. She will not take part in something which violates her personal laws.

Eli likes and needs to spend time alone, because this is when she can sort things out in their minds most clearly. She absorbs large quantities of impersonal facts from the external world, and sort through those facts, making judgments, when she is alone. Elliot is an action-oriented person. She likes to be up and about, doing things/ She won't sit behind a desk all day and do long-range planning. Adaptable and spontaneous, she responds to what is immediately before her. She usually has strong technical skills, and can be as effective technical leaders. She does not pay attention to her own feelings, and even distrust them and try to ignore them, because she has difficulty distinguishing between emotional reactions and value judgments. This may be a problem area for her.

When she is over-stressed, she may exhibit rash emotional outbursts of anger, or on the other extreme may be overwhelmed by emotions and feelings which she feels compelled to share with people (often inappropriately). When down on herself she will foray into the world of value judgments - a place which is not natural for the her - and judge herself by the inability to perform some task. Eli will then approach the task in a grim emotional state, expecting the worst. But Eli is excellent in a crisis situations. She is good at following through with a project, and tying up loose ends.

| BACKGROUND |
Elliot found out about Slendy when she met up with her boyfriend at a Halloween party, and he was wearing the outfit. Though it's quite possible that the only reason he stuck in her head was because she got to watch him making out with Catwoman.

Alex sat at a table in his apartment with the people he had been forced to find and gather himself around him, either sat on one of his sofas, with him at the table or pacing backwards and forwards. They were all on edge because of an extremely unfortunate turn of events. The 'Slenderman' was real, they had found out the hard way, one way or another they had encountered him. Alex himself had found out about him from watching Marble Hornets. Stupidly he had researched, the worst mistake he could have made. Knowing as much as he did Alex had come to a conclusion that there was safety in numbers.

It was strange how he had found out about the others, how come they all lived in the same town and found out about the myth all at pretty much the same time? He wanted answers. In front of him on the table were five printed pieces of paper, each with a picture of each person around him. With what looked like a Biro pen Xs had been furiously scratched on over each persons eyes and in scruffy scribbled handwriting what seemed like a nickname had been given to each person. Alex was "The Liar", Kara was "The Hopeless", Elliot was "The Insecure" and Spencer was "The Reckless". There was somebody else dubbed "The Pathetic" but he was nowhere to be found. Alex spread the pieces of paper out to each person, gesturing for them to grab their own picture.

"This is how I found out about you all, I didn't know what it meant at first, so I took a guess and tried to find you all. Luckily I caught up with you and here you are, now I'm going to take a guess and say you all know what this is about. You all know me as Alex, I'm in the same race as you guys and I figure if we want to get out alive we stick together. If you feel like this isn't for you, please feel free to leave, I'm not holding anyone here forcefully." He swallowed and hoped nobody would leave, he really felt like this nightmare could be fought, only if everyone stuck together. "Now I truly believe we can fight this thing and win. I just need to know that we can work together, safety in numbers right?"

He looked at his own picture, he stared at it, a hatred growing inside him all the time, an operator symbol had already been scribbled on the paper and he eyed it. Everything on the internet said the creature couldn't be fought, he hoped that was just part of the fiction. If they were going to live through this they needed to be able to hurt the creature, if they can make it hard for it surely it would just either give up or die. Turning away from the paper on the table he checked his phone, it was 07:57 PM and the sun was retreating, no longer providing sunlight to shine through his windows. The night always made him edgy.

Spencer Ramey

Things seem to have gone from strange to phenomenally bizarre in the space of a few days. For Spencer, this change had begun the moment he found himself face to face with the odd group before him. Each baring their own stories, but all connected by the sightings of the peculiar man without a face; Slenderman, was the name his research had found. Spencer could care less about a name, as long as the demon didn't manifest. His fear could almost be palpable, if he were not so schooled in the art of deception. He looks upon the faces of the others, faced by two woman - very pretty woman - and a man.He doesn't quite remember but he thinks there is supposed to be a fifth in their grouping.

If you feel like this isn't for you, please feel free to leave, I'm not holding anyone here forcefully." Spencer's eyes flicker to Alex. Of course he knew the reason they were all there together, and though it isn't his style to mingle with people he doesn't quite know he still understands the need to be faced with a familiarity - people who are having the exact same problem as he is definitely fits the bill. "Now I truly believe we can fight this thing and win. I just need to know that we can work together, safety in numbers right?"

"Fight it? Spencer tries to hold back his incredulous laugh, but fails in the end. "Has that worked out well for anyone else?" But he can't help the realization that they indeed need to stick together. If there's a chance at all they will have to fight it together. As much as Spencer is Loathe to admit he needs help he also doesn't want to die, or disappear. "But fine, Ill work with the group. It's better than waiting for something else to happen."

There's now telling if they'll get out of this mess alive, but Spencer is damn well ready to try. Though he isn't sure on trusting the others. Alex himself seems ok, maybe a little bit of a nutcase, but he hasn't done anything so far to set off any red flags. The ladies haven't spoken yet but Spencer sure wouldn't mind getting to know either of them on a more 'personal' level. Maybe this will actually work.

'Or maybe everybody here is getting their hopes up for nothing.' he thinks to himself, while waiting for the others to put forth their piece.

Kara Lyons

Kara nervously gripped the arm of the sofa she was seated on. This is really happening!? Somehow those monster Slenderman videos had turned into a reality. How did the monster even know her? She tried to calm her self by taking deep breaths but it wasn't seeming to work.Did she really have to work with these guys? The girl seemed nice but both the guys seemed to have inflated egos. She narrowed her eyes at the one doing most of the talking, Alex, and hoped it would distract from her increasingly paler and paler face.

She would not faint. This wasn't the time or the place for fainting but the tingling in Kara's face told her there was nothing she could do about it. Panic Attack the words flashed through her brain as she gripped the couch tighter and squeezed her eyes shut. She knew that she probably looked very silly but seriously, how did they expect her to handle getting all of this news dumped on her in front of random people she'd never met. Maybe a glass of water would help?

Kara slowly stood up and walked over to the small kitchen, almost shuffling her feet. She turned on the tap and didn't even bother for a cup. The cool water hit her face and calmed her down. She needed to be a part of this team. I mean it sounded crazy and she was freaking out but she didn't want to be that girl. The other girl of the group seemed tough, pretty and smart. Sitting near her Kara felt like a little kid in comparison. Breathing out a sigh Kara closed her eyes and felt herself relax. This is just a dream, it's just a dream she told herself tuning out the other kids.

Not long after, her breathing slowed into a rhythm and her eyelids relaxed. Kara fell into a peaceful sleep amid the conversation, her brain trying to block out the events of the past few minutes.

Elliot Frazier

Elliot was about to ask if the girl next to her was okay when she stood up and shuffled over to the little kitchen, making Eli raise both eyebrows in slight amusement. Immediately she corrected herself though, feeling guilty for finding it funny at all. This wasn't supposed to be an amusing situation, nor was it to be taken lightly. They all knew about this Slender in one way or another, and while she didn't want to believe in it... There were multiple things that pointed to him being real. Or someone was trying really hard to make their lives a living nightmare.

The girl returned a few moments later, looking a little more relaxed. Eli decided then that she wasn't going to ask if she was okay, because if she was in her place she would probably just want to kill someone who asked her that. It would only draw attention to the girl, and then probably make her self-conscious about how she was acting, which would just worry her even more. She tuned into the conversation for awhile, not saying much as she was busy studying the two males. This was how she was with everyone new she met though, it's why she didn't have many friends. Calculate their flaws, their strengths, everything about them that she could. People usually didn't like being under the microscope though.

At the safety in numbers comment, she again felt the need to laugh, but caught herself before she did. Numbers never seemed to guarantee safety, but she didn't say anything, just waited for everyone else to state their opinion on the matter. Spencer seems to agree with her own thoughts, there was no fighting this thing. After seeing her boyfriend in the costume- making out with a cheerleader, she added bitterly -, she had researched the Slenderman. She hadn't encountered him like these people had, she had only seen a costume of him. Perhaps that was why she was here, to add some actual sanity to the mix. Anyways, with the research she did, there didn't seem to be much 'fighting it'.

When she glanced over to see if Kara was going to say anything, she was surprised to find the girl asleep. Elliot was tempted to wake her, this probably wasn't something that she should miss, but she would have felt bad. The girl looked like she needed sleep, anyways. "I have to agree with Spencer," she finally said, voice proper as per usual. "I don't think we'll have any more luck working together than we would working apart, but it's better than waiting around." And she supposed four minds were better than one, even if she was probably the smartest person in the room- she usually was. "I propose we go over the evidence again. As a group, maybe we'll find something we did not before." There is an accent in her voice, maybe French most people think, from her growing up elsewhere.
