Appearance: Despite being three hundred years old Tanarith is not used to changing shape, he doesn't care for such trickery and as suc he isnt very good at it, The most human like appearance is still a mixture of fish and human.
In Dragon form he is slender and large his feathers often folded down to look like a web of scales shining in the sun, his beak hooked and imposing with teeth visible when he opens his mouth.
his wings are almost transparent looking more like lace or the wings from a Dragon fly and he has more than one pair in order to keep his enormous form alift, having many pairs of wings allows Tanarith to turn at immense speeds
in his "human form" his skin looks and feels as if those thin lace like wings wrapped around his feathers giving him a shiny if slightly disgusting feel and look. his eyes are a deep yellow in both forms and he looks wiry and malnourished why this is only Tanarith would know
Height:6'1 in human form and nearly 45 feet long from head to tail (with the lack of legs its hard to tell how tall he is but when lying down the bottom of his jaw to the tip of his head is around 12 feet)
Weight: Tanarith looks like a starving man when in his human form around 120 lbs for his height in his dragon form his weight isn't known as it isn't needed. all that can be said is he weighs enough for him to swim and fly efficiently

Bio: Tanarith was born centuries ago in the rivers and plains of his homeland he had brothers and sisters and a large family but then came a large storm lighting fell, crashing into the older dragons sending them falling to their deaths, winds howled and the weaker dragons were carried into the sharp rocks and the waters roared bringing even more to everlasting sleep on the bottom of the ocean floor only Tanarith and a few of his siblings remained, as the decades passed He taught himself an his siblings how to swim, fly and hunt and one day when he was resting and his siblings were playing large sharks and other sea creatures feasted on his younger siblings, Tanarith flew into a rage that lasted for 80 years in that time he became the King of the ocean and was so Enraged he even attacked the humans who fished in his waters.
still furious with the world he went back to his secluded grove his maw dripping with blood after his feast he washed his beak and heard footsteps approaching, with an audible hiss he saw a young girl, angry at the audacity this human shown by simply appearing at his grove he readied himself to merely crush the young girl, but their eyes met and he saw something....he saw loss, the same loss as he had suffered. The Girl cuddled him and seemed to smile as if meeting long lost family. Tanarath's rage had finally subsided and he enveloped the girl in his massive body and slept his anger away, he awoke to horse hooves and the girl signalling them to arrive, he looked at the men and after a long time he didn't feel angry. he let them leave with the girl and returned to the ocean. he wasn't angry anymore but he was still the king of the sea and no one would take that role away from him, but he had a new found respect for humans.
over the next few years The Land of Wildeshore would have noticed an increase of food and a strange decline of pirate raids. Stories began to circulate that it was the humming star that guided them, every night the people of Wildeshore can see this star and know they are safe, what they didn't know was this star was Tanarith, wet from swimming and shining in the moonlight, the Tide Star.
