She is extremely smart, getting top grades on all her work. She is also very aloof, showing little to no interest to others. Violette is very manipulative, saying only what will benefit herself and she developed a superiority complex early on in life. Violette is also quite mysterious, telling no-one about her past, preferring only close friends to know. She finds making friends difficult because of her snobbish ways and the fact that she doesn't quite know how to socially interact with people, being closed off to others for her whole life.
She is also extremely quiet, for behind that rude exterior she is very self-conscious and would rather not be noticed. Her nature is very contrasting- loud and snobby against her true side- quiet and sad. Others say she is quite an angry person, despite her skills at hiding her emotions, if something doesn't go her way, she's instantly against it. As a result, she is a bit of a loner, but she likes it that way... right?

~ Personal Background ~
As a young girl, Violette's mother discovered her powers when she was playing- accidentally, she made a very small and weak ice shield. Her mother was worried about her daughter,and advised her to hide her powers from her abusive father, who would surely kill Violette or send her away Unfortunately, when the 6- year old child walked into a room and saw her father beating her mother, her emotions spiraled out of control and she ended up hurting him, aiming ice crystals at his head.
Violette left the house, scared out of her wits that the police would find her,and wandered on the streets. While panhandling, she found a little boy her age, and taking pity on the scrawny girl, he invited her to live with him and some other youngsters. For a couple of months, she lived in bliss- having 'fun' (stealing) but the police found the kids. Although the leader of the group tried to hide them, he was still a child himself and the sheer amount of kids made controlling them difficult. Police tried to find her parents, but her mother was long dead by then and her father was in jail.
Eventually, local authorities placed the girl in an orphanage. Hiding her powers for all those years became very hard, and when mages became more accepted in society, she told the headmistress of the orphanage, and glad to get rid of the difficult child, she sent Violette away to the Academy at the age of 13.
