An old poet once stated that despite the circumstances, or perhaps even because of them, some human beings will prosper. This has held true in Chalor, as some have managed to indeed prosper despite the Disease.
The Highs is a place of class, or so most of the residents would prefer you to believe. The Disease however, tells another story, choosing its victims with no preference of class or social status.
So in truth, what the Highs is depends on who you ask. There are only two things that are for certain. It is that cleaner than the Lows, and it is in Chalor, thus a place of chaos.

The opposite of the Lows, the Highs is the place where somehow, despite the Disease, there is a level of class to be maintained.
