Hearing Stitch ask her if the meet up was a date she felt her cheeks grow warm.
Yeah, right, she thought to herself. Laughing nervously, she scratched the back of her head.
"Haha, no. Not a date... just... hanging out with somebody." She replied. As if his curiosity overtook him, he bombarded her with questions about her 'date'. Frantically both her hands came in front of her and she shook them back and forth, along with her head, indicating that he had it all wrong.
"It's just a friend and I chilling together, nothing special." Mulan said with a nervous laugh.
Her eyes looked down, knowing that her face was starting to flush. Now both of them were acting all awkward and nervous. How... awkward. Just the thought of going on a 'date', as Stitch called it, with Marian was actually making her heart race. Did she... actually wish that it was a date? Taking a few deep breaths, she tried to calm herself. The Asian girl looked back up with a smile when she heard him get excited over climbing things.
"Who do you think I am? Of course I would!" She said with a grin. Her head nodded in agreement when he mentioned a race. Oh, this was going to be fun!
She was about to take off and head out of the mall, but upon taking the first step, she looked down at her footwear. Boots were cute and everything, and it wouldn't stop her from climbing things, but it was definitely easier to climb and run around with regular sneakers. But she would have to go back home to grab them, and it was a little bit of a hassle since she had
just come back from there. Shrugging she decided that maybe the boots wouldn't be too much of a hindrance. They weren't super tall heels or anything. There was always the option of going barefoot as well. Clearly she was at a disadvantage. Oh well, it would still be fun.
With a smile she turned on her heel and started heading towards the door.
"Where shall we race to? The beach?"
