No one knows why his hair is so pale- his mother's is black with streaks of purple, his father's is a very dark gold.
Personality: As much as one would hope that he would behave with decorum, he doesn't. He can be amazingly rude to people by giving them the cold shoulder. Unsurprisingly, most girls are attracted to him. He is usually a cold, uncaring guy because he hates attention. One of the only people who makes him happy is his sister, but she can't coax much more than a smile out of him. It is rumored that he has never laughed. When he is angry (which happens a lot), he will walk off and start fighting someone or something in the training arena. He does care for people, even when he is cold; he just hides it better with rough acts of affection. He is very bullheaded, and prone to getting what he wants, being a man and the prince. He used to use it to his advantage, but just plain retreated now.

Opinion of the Princess: (Both before he meets her and when he does: He remembers how boyish and rough-and-tumble she used to be, and he remembers admiring her for it. However, he knew that he sometimes took things a little far. He just didn't know how much. He was pretty much a jerk back then, so his main delight was in teasing her.
Now, when he meets her again, he's shocked by the difference. She's still mostly the same, but she seemed so different, when he first sees her. However, he still thinks she's a little bit crazy and all that, and since he doesn't particularly want to be in love, pushes her away, which is quite simple. However, as Raiden learns more and more about her, he can't help but admire her for her courage, resiliency, and ability to keep going. And slowly, he falls in love with her, but refuses to accept it. After all, no one's ever broken his shell, so how could this crazy slip of a girl do it? He keeps denying it, not realizing that it's becoming obvious to everyone but the princess that he's fallen... hard.
History: He is the oldest prince, and thus heir. He only has a younger sister, and loves her dearly. Currently, his sister is 16. He used to let his fame and reputation as Crown Prince get to his head, and was quite a jerk, As the war started, everything changed, and people started to have higher expectations of him, to the point where he became the quiet, cold person he is now. He still has some elements from when he was younger, including that he expects to get what he wants, when he wants it. Rumors are always flying around the court about him, and he's been tuning them out for a while. He started fighting when he was 17, and hated the fighting intensely, but still doesn't want to be married to Belladonna.
