Setting
Kathy watched as the man delivered the flytrap on the store counter.
"Thank you!" Kathy said as she watched the man leave.
Kathy turned the sign on the front window from "closed" to open. There was a light snowfall outside. It gently covered the trees and sidewalk. Kathy walked back to the storefront counter and put the plant on a nearby shelf. She would decide where to put it later.
Kathy tapped her fingertips on the counter and whistled as she waited for customers and other employees. Sunshine and Daisies flower shop wasn't busy, but it wasn't customer foresaken either. Considering the fact that it had been a cold winter, not many weddings occured in the town. Although, there were always plenty of funerals. It seemed as if half of the business was still alive.
