Personality

Bes is a kind man, but he doesn't smile much. He rarely spends any money on anything other than food and travel expenses, opting to stay at the cheapest hotels and travel on the most cramped vehicles. He always stands straight up, never slouching, and his eyes are constantly moving from one place to the other, as if he is...searching for something. He doesn't make friends often, but when he does, he tries to stay in touch. He sends and receives mail at his small apartment in Al Fayyūm, Eqypt.

Equipment

Bes carries with him a notebook, a pencil, and a small Swiss-army knife(mainly for sharpening the pencil). When he travels, he does not bring any extra clothes or shoes, preferring to either wash the set he has, or....well, not wash them.

History

Bes was born in an orphanage in Port Said, Egypt, presumably as or after the previous holder of the Hieracosphinx spirit died. Bes began to make contact with his powers and the guidance of his inner spirit as he began to study ancient Egyptian culture. He felt a close-ness to Horus, the God of the sky, war, and protection. Bes eventually stopped going to school. He cut ties with most of his childhood and teenage life, and as he became an adult, he worked only when he needed money to travel. He moved on the whims of the Hieracosphinx' spirit, going around the globe overnight if he thought he had to. He always had the strong urge to protect something, but he never found out what. He still searches, day after day, month after month, for the one, or ones, he was meant to protect. He has not had much of a chance to use any of his extraordinary abilities, so he isn't entirely sure about what they might be, but he does know that they are there.
