Setting
Nion nimbly stepped out of the pod as soon as the shaking stopped, raising a finger to her scouter to get in contact with her fellow Saiyins. With her eyes moving up to the sky, she knew she wasn;t allowed to start the mission until the otehrs had landed. Pffft, I can handle a simple invasion. This is a mission for babies. But, maybe I'll get a shot at that Heeta fool. A fight with an Arcosian Emperor would be worth the trip
One of the invaders was down below, standing just outside of a hut. One of the insectoid people, a large male, knelt on one knee, with a hand to his side.
"Give up, little bug," said the invader. "You know you can't win. Why fight?"
"Because as long as there is strength in my body, I will not give in to evil."
"Well, then, let's see how long that lasts."
As the invader raised his gun arm, a little child ran out toward the adult.
"Daddy! Don't hurt my daddy!"
The adult raised his hand towards the child and yelled, "No, Flame! Get back inside!" But it was too late. The invader turned his arm canon to the approaching target and fired. Just then, Pikruel appeared in a flash and deflected the blast.
"Who the Hell are you?" asks the invader.
"I'm a Saiyan, protector of the innocent. Ally to good, nightmare to you!"
When the invader moved to fire again, Pikruel grabbed the canon by its opening and releasing her own blast of energy to the inside. The arm canon exploded in a flash of light. The invader yelped and took a big leap back.
"You're going to pay for that!" the invader yelled as he turned and ran.
Before the invader could get far, Pikruel kicked him from behind and sent him flying high until he disappeared as a little speck in the green sky.
The Saiyin paid no mind to the child, their father, nor the tail that hung around the other woman's waist.
"Is one of our men having an early power nap, perhaps? Or has some of the resistance managed to put of a fight?" Scouts were still out gathering information about the surroundings, of buildings, covering positions and evidence of other threats on the planet. Dashade was almost tempted to go and see if one of his comrades were facing peril at the moment, but he was not allowed to leave the ship unless told so. Plus, the fact that the soldier still had a power level meant that the man was still alive. The Arcosian only sighed. "I hope the Commander doesn't have so much fun that he forgets he has reinforcements at his beck and call"
Pikruel stopped and looked Noin up and down. "Forgive me for asking but...are you one of the good guys or are you a bad guy? You look like you're half Saiyan."
When the invader finally crash landed, he rolled over onto his back and slowly raised his left hand to his cracked helmet. "C-commander Holly... We have a p-problem."
"What is it, soldier?" the man in red's voice spoke into his ear.
"There's someone here. She calls herself a Saiyan, and she's here to protect the Meltians."
"A Saiyan...? Was there more than one of them?"
"I only saw the one. Also, Commander, I think I've got a few broken bones. If you could--"
Holly cut off the soldier and turned his frequency to all his men. "Attention. There's a Saiyan woman in 25 miles Southwest of our landing site. All units in the vicinity, find the Saiyan and engage."
"It was only a matter of time before those monkeys to catch the scent of blood, but I never expected them to come so quickly. And iin so few numbers... There must be others" Saiyins were a well known force of might in the galaxy, if there was anything common sense would dictate in days like this it would be to never get in a Saiyins way unless you're prepared to fight. Such a prey made an astounding trophy for any fighter, though as the Arcosian raised his fingers to his scouter to talk on the Communication line, he reminded himself that none of this was for any type of sport. "We should send more troops to the surrounding areas, Sir. I find it unlikely that these two came alone"
The Meltian man stood up slowly. "Thank you so much for your help. I don't know what I would have done if they took my daughter away from me."
"You and your family should get out of here. There's no telling how many more of them will come now. I don't want you to get caught up in this."
"Caught up in this? But it's our planet. This is our fight."
"I understand what you mean, but you're in no condition to fight, and no offense but you'd just get in the way. We can't fight at full power and protect you at the same time."

"Let's worry about the one we know about first, Arcosian," Commander Holly replied in a somewhat condescending tone. "If more of these Saiyans turn up, we will deal with them too. Now, get down there and make sure this Saiyan is taken care of."
His eyes narrowed at the power level of the two saiyins in the distance, he estimated that that wasn't those two's limits and they were already over the average of the army. "Hm, this fight will not be easy"
The Saiyin let out a wide grin as she turned fully to face what she was guessing to be an army, smashing hr fist into her palm. "Ready, Partner?"
One of the soldiers reported in. "There are two aliens here. One is blue, and one is a weird pink color. Which is the Saiyan?"
"I don't know what a Saiyan looks like!" Commander Holly replied. "If they're not natives, and they're not with us, then they're trouble. Exterminate them both."
The soldiers rushed it at once to fight. Pikruel blocked a punch and a kick, then kicked her attacker in between the legs, knocking him into the air. She punched a second enemy and back kicked another. When the first dropped back down, she punched him in the gut to knock him back up a little, then then back flipped and kicked him, sending him flying hard into a group of others.
She gave a flick of her head as she looked over the many dwned foes, though was surprised by how quickly they filled in, no doubt these creatures, no matter how weak were going to be a handful. "Fine, for today I'll play exterminator. Take it as a privelage that I'm even bothering" With that she dashed into the air, letting out small ki blasts to knock her opponents off balance before imbedding her knee in their guts. After delivering a finishing blow to another opponent her eyes spotted one who stood with their hands up to their scouters, seemingly speaking into it. Maybe he's taling to somone impportant, can't have that, can we? With that she took off, rushing towards the man with her fists ready to connect.
However, there was barley any time to think as he closed in on the battlefield, the bodies of his comrades sailing through the air past him as both threats dispatched them with ease. Just rushing them was only leaving their troops open to attack, Dashade knew he had to strategize for success. Luckily the very loud blue one revealed her arrogance very easily as she sent out some sort of shock wave to thin the numbers, her guard was down, she wasn't expecting much of a fight. Dashade supposed he should of been disgusted that she so effortlessly and happily kills his men, but he probably would be the same if he was on the other side.
When she rushed in for the kill on another soldier, Dashade didn't hesitate to leap into the air and shot towards the woman. The quicker he ended this, the less casualties there would be. He hoped that her dropped guard would give him enough of an advantage to quickly finish her off, but he wouldn't get his hope up. Stretching out his feet, he aimed to grab a hold of the Saiyin's head with his feet and send her flying into the mountain a small distance away from the crux of the action.
Before she could register just what was going on or even evok an emotion over it, the female Saiyin was pulled up into the air and swung around for only a few moments, before the alien toes loosed their grip and sent her flying across the sky. Only pain flooded her body when it came into contact with the rocky surface of the mountain, her tough Saiyin skin breaking through the rock with no scars, her armor on the other hand didn't do so good.
"Well..." The words were coughed out with a cocky grin, dirt littered her body as well as rips in her armour, she didn't mind though. A clean Saiyin was a lazy one. Picking herself up from the small impact site, she glared daggers into the battleground. "A new challenger... And here I was thinking this was going to be boring"
"But those are my men you are intent on harming, something which I can not allow" While he knew he had left the other Saiyin to do what she wished against the army, from a distance he was able to tell the distance between the two's fights back before he had charged Nion. The blue one only saw the invaders as her enemies and reflected that with how she happily slaughtered them, but the other one's attack judging from placement and scouter readings were never intending to kill. It was a slim chance of truth, but even if he was proved false, Dashade at least accomplished lightening the load on his fellow soldiers. That was all he could do.
The meltian boy began to stir, he groaned for a few seconds before sitting up on his elbows. Taao waited patiently for him to awake fully, though he was eager to get to get to the bottom of this. " you saved my life, thank you, I thought I was a goner "
Taao stood and placed a firm grip on the Meltian boy's shoulder and squeezed " Tell me what happened, who did this to you? "
" I don't know who they where, they said they worked for Lord Heeta and that Frost was dead, we tried to fight for ourselves like he taught us but a man in red just killed everyone! My Parents too...he said our world belonged to lord Heeta and that it's p-p-pointless to resist "
The first part seemed to spill out his mouth all in one breath, it took him a couple seconds to process it. Frost dead? How could that be, and who the was this Heeta creep? If they ruthless enough to slaughter these beaten down people in cold blood, then they have to be stopped Taao stood up to his full 216 cm and pulled his cloak over his head. He came to this planet to aid the relief effort, not fight a war, but he wasn't going to stand by while the people he helped save be enslaved all over again. Guru would be ashamed. The boy objection when he declared his intentions, said all he would was get killed to, but Taao wasn't going to die here, and neither would anyone else if he could help it. He told the boy to hold up in his home until things where safe and flew off in the direction of the fighting.
Looking over him didn't really impress her, but then again she had never actually seen any images of Arcosians that actually showed them to be physically intimidating. At his quires to her harming his men, she imply laughed. "What? Are you trying to tell me you care? That's a laugh" She got into a fighting stance, staring her enemy down. "You might of taken me by surprise, but you're nothign compared to me. Your power level is pitiful, even if above average"
Taao had long since renounced his warriors ways in lieu of a life as a healer shortly after he arrived on planet Melt and witnessed firsthand the conditions war had left the land and it's people. Back at his home planet there was no precedent for such destruction and loss of life, namekians lived relatively peacefully, he and his warrior kin only ever fought to protect the Dragon clan in order to preserve their most sacred treasure. Unlike other Senshi ( warrior nameks ), Taao inherited the ability to heal wounds in similar manner as those of the Dragon Tribe, even more rare the innate ability to fly. Taao felt he never understood why he had the power, until he left his home and eventually arrived on planet Melt where he's served as a healer for the disadvantaged natives, who until Frost arrive, stood no chance at all.
" Dammit " he growled through clenched teeth If Frost is truly dead, then they stand no chance even still, they'll be enslaved all over again " No, I won't accept that. Whoever these scum are, prepare to feel the power of a Senshi! "
With strengthened resolve, FWOOSH! like an arrow he flew at his max speed in the direction in which the boy had directed, though he noticed he reached the limits of his speed rather quickly, no doubt a result of saving the meltian boy's life. However there was no time to rest, it was time to act. Even now as he drew nearer his sensitive ears could pick up sounds of battle.
" An army, just my luck "
He turned back to glare at the Saiyin, quickly moving his hands up to attempt to contact the Commander again, hoping that his opponent wouldn't cut him off. "Commander Holly, there seems to be another power level entering the battle. I do not have visual, but it is certainly not one of ours"
And it felt much worse when he started taking a god damn cal to his commander "STOP IGNORING ME!"
When she got no response, she stopped and turned to look for her partner. She found her in the crowd just in time to see her thrown into a mountain. "Oh, no!"
Pikruel started to rush toward Nion, but troops quickly swarmed around her and latched onto her. She struggled to get free, but their collective grip made any kind of movement difficult. Then one of them made the mistake of accidentally cupping his hand around her boob, and Pikruel erupted into an explosion of energy, sending the men flying in all directions.
"Honestly," Pikruel said with her arms crossed and her face all red. "You people have no manners."

"I don't care how many there are," Holly said to the Dashade. "Just eliminate them. Arcosian? Must I do everything myself?"
In the air she began to spin, gritting her teeth as a slight bit of motion sickness started to take place. The world around her spinned out of visability for her, all beside her target as she only got fast and faster. "WHIRLWIND!"
Without a thought to get in his was the Arcosian doubled back away from the attack that still made good ground to catch up with him, he needed to stop it right in it's track, or wait for the spinning to dizzy his opponent. Digging his feet into the ground, he stood defiantly before her, moving his hands together before ripping them apart with a roar. "GRAVITY... IMPACT!"
With that battle cry, Dashade felt the Ki from quickly in front of him as the attack came close to hitting, he slammed his hands against the air with such ferocity that the Ki seemed to spark at it. A brief shock wave appearing before him.
Finally her whirlwind closed in on the creature that she hoped was Dashade (she really couldn't tell at the moment), ready to slam dead centre into his chest and knock him off balance. Unfortunatly for her the shock wave caused by the Arcosian stopped the impact of her attack, instead of her hitting Dashade she was pushed out of her spinning motions and flung up into the air with a large bruise under her white hair.
