Hammer of the North:
An ancient hammer passed down from King to King, the Hammer of the North is said to be made of indestructible ice. It is said to never melt, never crack, and never dull.
Armor:
Armor of Kings:
Crafted of Valorian steel, the Armor of the Kings has withstood many battles. Every King of the North crafts there own armor, unlike the Hammer of the North witch is passed from King to King. The crystal's on the shoulders of the chest plate reverberate when struck, causing a shock wave through Nollarr's body, and into his hammer, making the hammer shake with energy. This energy can be transformed into a devastating strike.
A short history of the Norien:
Long ago, after the disappearance of the dragons, a group of humans believed that they were hybrids of the dragons mixed with humans. Because of there "dragonkin blood" they declared themselves the dominate race of Edin. After a failed cue against the human empire, they were captured and forced far into the north to die. But die they did not.
For years they, now called the Norien's, survived the brutal cold on game. But, this wasn't enough for the Norien's. The North houses creatures only seen in nightmares. Giant worm creatures called "Galvixen", frost giants, ice trolls, and the highest game of all, Ice Drakes. After only 10 years of surviving this brutal land, the Norien's had started to rebuild. 50 years after there arrival in the north, the first King of the North was named, and after being secluded for all those years the Norien caught word of the Dragons Heart Pack. Once the King heard of this "pack", he became infuriated and declared war on the south.
The humans were the first. For 20 years the Norien's stomped the humans in nearly every battle, but there victory was short lived. Some say the only, and biggest, mistake the King of the North made was attacking the elves. The Norien's walked into a trap in the elvish lands, and in a single battle lost almost half of there forces.
For the next 500 years, the Norien's faught off both humans and elves. But finally, 4 years ago, were defeated by the humans. In a final battle, the Norien's were forced to surrender...
Nollarr:
Unlike most hierarchy's, the title of King of the North wasn't pasted father to son, but from champion to champion. Every year a game took place in the North, one that desisted the true king. When the king dies, a Grand Hunt is held for the title. Who ever brings the largest skull to the palace is crowned the victor.
Nothing is known of Nollarr before age 16. Legends say that during the 8th Grand Hunt a boy walked through the capital of the north, carrying a massive skull and a broken hammer. It was no normal skull, but the skull of a dragon. The boy was brought to the palace, and after much debate was named "8th King of the North". This boy was Nollarr.
The 2 last years of the war were brutal. Every battle being a draw, with 100's of soldiers dead on each side. The humans and elves alike were running low on men and supplies, but with one last surprising push crushed the defenses of the Norien's, Nollarr was brought to his knees. Captures and taken prisoner, the people of the North were forced to surrender. For the Norien's betrayal of humans, they were forces into slavery. The skull of the dragon Nollarr slayed was given back to the dragons, and the North was opened to trade.
For 4 years Nollarr was held as a prisoner, but was finally freed under the conditions to never again lead the Norien's to war against humans, and for his murder of a dragon, to serve the dragons until death. Now, he fights as a warrior for the humans.
