we're not alone."

Image{Death Sense}
As harbingers of death, Banshees can sense when someone has died or is about to die. This is usually accompanied by a trance-like state that draws the Banshee to the location of someone who has recently died or who is near-death.

{Clairaudiance}
The ears of a Banshee are naturally tuned to levels of the universe that only they can hear. This gives them an ability to discern details of a person's death (or impending death) through the sounds they can perceive which no one else can.

{Banshee Scream}
A Banshee's most important and valuable power is their voice, which they can use to achieve various effects when wailing or screaming. This is a power that all Banshees possess, though some of the specific aspects and applications of this power often need to be consciously learned before the Banshee can use them effectively.

{Supernatural Immunity}
Since Banshees are humans who access the supernatural rather than fully supernatural creatures who are ruled by mystical forces, Banshees are immune to the effects of many supernatural phenomena.

{Harbinger Connection}
All Banshees possess an almost psychic or telepathic connection to each other and to Hellhounds, who are also harbingers of death.

{Supernatural Sensitivity}
Banshees, as conduits of supernatural forces, can sense, seek out, and identify its energy, though how well they are able to do this varies among individuals.

ImageWhen most people see Wren for the first time, they see a short, skinny boy with a rather serious face. He has angular bone structure hidden beneath a baby face. His nose has a bump where it's been broken a few times. He has thin lips and big, brown puppy eyes. His eyebrows are dark and almost always furrowed, and the left one sprays up in the middle. His hair is curly and reddish brown.

He has a small build with a surprising amount of strength and athleticism in it.

{Hair & Eye Color}

{Height & Weight}
5'8''|141 lbs

{Markings}
None

{Style}
For as long as he can remember, Wren has preferred darker colors. As he grew up, he's trended more and more toward black. Although before everything happened, he would work bright colors into his wardrobe to avoid scrutiny, now he just lets himself go dark.

Loyal|Altruistic|Sensitive|Proud
Despite his years of privilege as the most popular kid in school, Wren is a good kid through and through. He can be snarky and dismissive, but he has never intentionally hurt another person. He has a strong sense of morality, and he sticks to it rigidly. He can be a stuck up at times, but he makes up for it with an unwavering loyalty. He is very sensitive to criticism and insults.

{Likes}
Wren likes being able to help people. He loves rainy weather and being outdoors. He collects new and oldvinyl records, and he's very proud of his collection.

{Dislikes}
Wren dislikes constant hot weather. He dreams of one day moving somewhere cold and rainy. He hates feeling weak. More than anything else, Wren hates losing control.

{Fears}

Wren Jasper Calloway was born with nothing to a single mother, Rosie Lonan, who had just turned 18, and no father on his birth certificate. They lived in a tiny apartment on food stamps without the assistance of her well-to-do parents for the first three years of his life, until she met James Calloway, the man who would become her husband and Wren's adopted father. James was a rich 30-something who had recently been diagnosed as infertile. He treated them both with the utmost love and care, and he legally adopted Wren the day he and Rosie got married. As far as the Calloway family is concerned, Wren is James's kid.

Wren was pulled into an entirely different life than the one he'd been accustomed to. He now lived in the richest neighborhood in Beacon Hills, and his mom could stay home and take care of him full time. He was always popular in school, and he went into high school at the very top of the food chain. He stayed there until a traumatic incident right before the start of his junior year. He'd begun hearing faint whisperings in his head at the start of that summer, but he'd done his best to ignore them. At a house party a couple nights before the first day of school, he was sexually assaulted while drunk by a girl who'd graduated that May. While he was getting dressed, he heard screams and cries for help in his head. He went into a trance and started running. He ended up waking up barefoot at the edge of a cliff hours later, unaware of how he got there. A dead body was just a few feet from the edge. He screamed, louder than he ever had before, and he accidentally backed off the cliff.

Because his scream could be heard for miles, he was quickly found in the water and transported to Beacon Hills Memorial, where he woke up the next morning with his parents in his room. The trauma of the night triggered his latent banshee abilities. The girl that assaulted him told all his friends that they'd slept together and then he'd run off crying. Word spread around school that he'd attempted suicide when he didn't show up for the first day.

When he returned, he found himself ousted from his former friend group and publicly ridiculed. He was book-checked and laughed at so much, he started eating lunch in the bathroom just to get some peace. Eventually, a member of Charlotte Havens's pack reached out to him, and he never looked back.

So begins...

Tap... Tap... Tap Charlie's pencil eraser tapped the last few seconds of her Biology class as she zoned out. With all the recent news surrounding George's body it was rather hard for her to concentrate on anything other than the image of half his body discarded on the side of the road. A new wolf? It couldn't be, she would've known. The idea that a new threat had crawled up from the depths of the darkness and into Beacon Hills left her nervous. It had been so quiet lately, no attacks, nothing and then just out of the blue dead body. She had no doubt in her mind that the others would want to investigate, and even though she felt the same the idea of everyone in danger again was too much for her to handle. Her increasing frustration on remaining a beta was a small insecurity of hers, especially since the others were counting on her. She had snatched one of the Druid books and had read on True Alpha's but no matter how hard she pushed herself her eyes remained a glowing golden color. "Mrs. Havens"... Maybe if she tried a little harder.... "Mrs. Havens.... There had to be something holding her back... "Mrs. Havens!"

She jerked her head up, shifting her focus to that of Mr. Carlton, their new biology teacher for the year. "Oh, erhm sorry, I was just thinking about-"
Mr. Carlton patted her shoulder rather awkwardly offering her a understanding look. "No need to explain Mrs. Havens. Everyone has been a little on edge lately". She stood up, slinging her bag over her shoulder taking a step back from the man. "Yeah, uh thanks. I better get going" She said dashing for the door, only allowing Mr. Carlton to get in a, "don't forget the assignment" and she was out the door.

She pushed past the other students in the hall, while also reaching for her phone in her pocket. As she weaved through the students she tuned her ears into their conversations. Every single one of them were about George. And of course, at the end of the hall Lindsey Bates (it girl) was sobbing into the arms of Nina Mendez (minion #1). Charlie was shocked the girl had even managed to make it to school after the news her boyfriend had been ripped in half. Probably just to gain sympathy from the class. Was that rude of her to think that? Probably. Did she care? Not really. As she pushed out the doors of the school she sent a quick text to the others;

There was obviously no way to avoid the subject at hand, they had to discuss George's death. As she made her way to the small little nook of park benches outside the high school's library she repeated a speech in her mind. It could just be an animal attack, but when was anything ever an animal attack in Beacon Hills. She tossed her backpack on one of the benches and propped herself down on the table. Maybe they would just investigate the spot where they found him, just take a peek around, find nothing, and call it good. She let out a small frustrated sigh and leaned back against the table blowing a stray silver piece of hair out of her face. She'd just have to listen to what the others had in mind, especially Konny, she always knew what to do.

XXWren's sketchbook stayed blank for most of art class. He kept hoping for something, anything to break up the log jam in his mind. Instead of anything helpful, he just kept seeing George McClain silently screaming over and over, his already dirty fingers digging up soil and grass as he's dragged back by an attacker that Wren still. Can't. See.

XXHis eyes glazed over as he stared at the ancient chalkboard on the wall. His pencil made small motions over the page. The teacher, Mr. Tetslaf, pretended not to sleep at his desk like he did most work days, a chewed-up ballpoint in his hand and drool starting to leak out of the corner of his mouth. Jeremy Whittaker sat two desks in front of Wren and his tablemate—whom Wren did not care to get to know—not once turning to look. They had originally planned to take the class together, but by the beginning of the school year, Wren had been relegated to freaky outcast. They hadn't spoken in months.

XXIt didn't stop Jeremy from book-checking Wren every time they crossed paths, which was exactly what he did when the bell rang. Wren had scooped all his books off the table, ready to leave when Jeremy's hand slammed them back down again. Wren sighed, but his mindless doodle caught his eye, its vines and leaves and detailed shadows twisting across the whole page.

XXOh, boy, he thought. That can't be nothing. His phone buzzed.

XXAnd he took off, ducking between students to get to his locker and out as fast as he could. It didn't take him long anymore, his route long since memorized and perfected to efficiency. When he got to the benches, Charlie, Konny, and Kya were already there.

XX"Hey," he said simply, tossing his mostly empty backpack to the ground beside his planned seat. He took the spot, feigning relaxation against the bench.

Stellan listened as his Spanish teacher droned on about the day's homework assignments and the essay that was due next Monday. He was lucky he had his adoptive family to help him with his homework - Stellan was never the academically talented one.

Stellan could sense people staring at him; while he was never the school heartthrob, he did have the title of, "the dark and brooding one with the crazy hair." Then again, you couldn't have rainbow hair and have people not stare at you.

"You will begin a new project next week," Señora De Santiago said in her typical Spanish drawl. "You'll be assigned to groups with three other people." Stellan refrained from groaning out loud; he never liked group projects.

"I will call out the groups right now," Señora De Santiago continued, adjusting her glasses slightly before peering down at her clipboard. "And next week, you will tell me your project ideas. Team number one - Andre Mathews, Frank Koch, Carola Schwarz, and Rosalia Moloney."

Stellan tuned out his Spanish teacher's words until he suddenly heard his own name. "Team number four - Stellan Dai, Edward Arissen, Magdalena Spencer, and Kimberleigh Nieri."

In all fairness, Stellan's teammates weren't horrible. At least, in an academic sense; he was sure that they all had better grades that him. Edward was your typical blonde 6'3" football player - a bit cocky, but he was surprisingly nice to Stellan (Stellan still hasn't figured out why). He was actually a fairly good student. Magdalena, on the other hand, was smart, but unbearable; she was nearly as tall as Stellan, and matched Edward's height in heels. In the simplest sense, she was a spoiled brat; she ran in the same circles as Wren Calloway when he was actually popular. Lastly, Kimberleigh Nieri was generally quiet and reserved, but fought for leadership whenever she did a team project.

"So," true to form, as soon as the four students gathered together, Kimberleigh started taking control. "I was thinking, we should do our project on -"

"Don't you think it's too early for this?" Edward interrupted; he seemed to catch the almost constipated expression on Stellan's face. "The bell's gonna ring; let's just share phone numbers and talk about it later." Kimberleigh frowned, clearly not satisfied, but Edward interrupted her again. "Here's my phone, Stellan. You can gimme your number, and us four can make a group chat for this project."

Stellan stared at the phone, before reluctantly picking it up and dialing the familiar nine digits. Edward gave him a genuine smile, and the four exchanged numbers just as the bell rang. Stellan checked his phone, seeing that he received a new message that wasn't from his Spanish group mates.

Stellan furrowed a brow; this was probably about the McClain incident.

ok

Stellan sighed, making his way to the benches Beacon Hills' neighborhood supernaturals met up at on a regular basis. When he got there, he caught sight of Charlotte, Konny, Kya, and Wren. He nodded in greeting, sitting next to Konny as she languidly beckoned him to her bench (as in, with a "get your ass over here, Stell,"), leaving a three-foot gap between the two of them.

"Hi," he muttered awkwardly.

Running has always helped Octavia think better ...but the thought of something, it's always a something she thought, killing an innocent boy in Beacon Hills. Even if he was a bit of a douche-bag. It didn't sit well with O and the manner that he was killed made her flood with mixed emotions of pity and annoyance that soon turned into something else ...anger. Good thing her last class was p.e and they were doing some kind of three-mile run evaluation because her anger was all that she could concentrate on, the noise around her already tuning out. Octavia was running it out, her anger and energy. If not, she'd have a terrible time falling asleep that night.

The she-coyote finished the test in no time, setting a new record time at 15 minutes. Mentally though, she was blanking out. Deep in thought about this new but familiar energy she was feeling and the whole, potentially having a baddie in Beacon Hills as she took that short trek back to the locker rooms. Unintentionally ignoring the coach who congratulated her.

When she put the combination in and opened her gym locker, her cell phone was the first thing she noticed because the screen was glowing with a new message.

Meet @ the spot asap

A small smile graced her lips but only for a second because her mind wandered back to McClain, knowing exactly what this meeting was going to be about.

To: the scooby gang
omw soon!

Even with all the commotion going on, Octavia still enjoyed the small things like just getting to see Charlotte and the gang. Though she may not be close to them all, there is a certain fondness that grew on her from each of them. After taking a quick 4-minute cat-bath in the showers, O pulled on her regular school clothes that she came in with and tossed her gym ones back into the locker. Note to self; gotta do laundry soon.

When Octavia approached the group, she rubbed Wren's head, messing up his hair with a casual "Hey guys." Before running her fingers through his hair to fix it back up again, giving Wren a warm smile. The coyote tossed her bag onto the grass at the front end of the bench her friends frequently occupied. She then settled herself down on the ground, legs crisscrossed. It was probably a little weird but she didn't really care much. O liked sitting on the ground and you'd most likely find her sitting on her floor at home while playing a video game or watching a movie instead of on the couch or her bed. "Sorry, I'm a little late to the party, gym." She softly sighed, finally pulling her hair out of that messy bun due to the shower and letting it fall over her shoulders.
