Description: Kale is a strikingly handsome young man, with thick, feathery black hair that falls over his forehead and over his eyes. He has smooth, olive colored skin and shocking blue eyes that can pierce through someone with a simple glance. He stands at a height of 6' 4", with a lean muscular build. He's usually clean shaven, or keeps it at a small amount of scruffle.
Ablitlies: As a Taura, Kale is extremely strong and fast. What he lacks in magic he makes up for in intelligence and strength. This makes him a suitable guard for the princess.
Weapons: Kale's favorite weapons are swords. He's very skilled with the blade, whether it be sword, dagger, or knife. Since Kale was trained alongside Ari, he was built to be an assassin as well, but ended up taking the role as her guard when she went back to the palace.
Personality: Kale is a very charming, witty young man. Kale is very slow to anger, but extremely hard to calm down when he gets pissed off. He's very protective of Ari but forces himself to stand back unless she really needs his assistance. He's not too thrilled about her whole engagement thing and has no intentions of being civil to her husband-to-be. Arrogance is Kale's one downfall. He's hot and he's good at what he does, and he knows it. He uses his charm as his advantage and is pretty good at convincing people to do as he says. He has a dark and dangerous aura around him, and a stare that could freeze fire. He can be serious when he needs to be, though sarcasm and dark humor might as well be his middle name.
Bio: When Kale was two years old his father, Cain, took the princess under his wing for reasons Kale still doesn't know. Since the day Cain brought Ari home, the two were inseparable. They played together, ate together, slept under the same roof, and trained together. They knew eachother probably more than they knew themselves. They were best friends, and potentially could have been more if Ari hadn't sent back to live at the palace. The day she left was one of the worst in Kale's life and though they promised to visit each other, they never did. For five years Kale remained at home with his father, carrying out orders for the King as an assassin. A few months before the ball was planned, Kale was summoned to the palace and ordered to protect Ari as her personal guard by the King himself.

Love Interest: Kale has always had a thing for Ari, though he refuses to address it and tries to involve himself with other women to forget about it. No matter who he's with though, Ari will always be the girl he wants which makes it both difficult and easy for him to protect her.
