(This is the character I want to use, so I'm going to abandon the other one, and redo my first post, if that's alright with you Anthro.)

Name: Kerrik Mercerne

Appearance: Kerrik stands at about 6' 3", weighing a good, hefty 189lbs (all muscle.) His skin is a light brown that is distinctly not Caucasian or full blown African American. His hair is a natural light purple, tied in semi-dreadlocks type strands. His eyes are a foggy emerald green. Yes, Kerrik is blind. Aside from the usual wight shirt, tucked into the white sweats, he has taken a spare shirt, and fashioned a pair of fingerless gloves. Though crude, they work. He also has a kind of visor, which he keeps over his eyes. Even though he's blind, the visor does a good deal to calm him down. There are a number of scars along Kerrik's arms and legs. none of them are really worthy of notice. It just shows, that Kerrik has done his share of fighting. His hands are built to hold a sword like weapon, and his feet are those of a well traveled man (even if it's only in the institute.) He usually walks around shirtless, but never does he leave it in his room. Kerrik also has a few scars on his chest, where most of these are surgery scars. Being 16, he is considerably well built, tall, but sturdy. Like a nice large Oak.

Personality: Kerrik is a tough nut. Though he is in fact blind, he doesn't put up with any special treatment. He is the kind of guy you want to have your back. He isn't deceived by looks (how can he? he's blind.) and he always keeps an objective point of view. When you first meet Kerrik, he is sort of gruff, blunt, laid back, and cold. However, once you get past the gruff exterior, you will find someone who cares about what your going through. He will protect those he calls friends with his life, and is always true to himself. His temper could be better, but hey, what do you expect? hes part beast. There are certain things that set them off, but once they do, either someone taze Kerrik, and knock him out, or get out of his way. These outbursts are somewhat common, and due to this, his temper can be short some days. As part of his being part beast, He doesn't like being chained and restrained. Should he find himself in such a situation, he will do almost anything to escape it.
