Personality: His quote sums it up perfectly. He's constantly in the pursuit of bettering himself, a fault of his being never allowing himself to believe he's good enough. When he set's his mind to a task, he won't allow himself to rest until he's seen it completed. He's very driven in this manner. Part of his 'self bettering' includes being the best kind of person he can be, so he's always kind to people, or at the very least polite. He kind of sees himself as a modern knight.
History: He grew up in an orphanage, never knowing his real parents. When he questioned the man leading the orphanage, he was told that no one knew his parents; he was simply found out on the streets one day. As he grew up, Martin grew to accept this, and became more self reliant. It was around the time he was finally able to live on his own that he discovered his powers as a shape shifter. He met with a master changer, and began his training, and a month before the story begins he had finally became recognized as a master shape shifter. since then, he's been wandering around looking for a purpose.
What They Carry With Them: The only things he always keeps on his person are his set of throwing knives, a larger handheld knife, and a average sized sword. The sword carries significance as it was the only possession he had when he found as a child, and he believes it to be his fathers. The blade has carved on it "Enderschellich Neicht", which Martin has taken as the blades name.
Powers: He is a well trained swordsman, having learned the blade as a practice while he was honing his shape shifting abilities. He also possesses shape shifting abilities. :P

Extra: He's a free runner, and uses his talent as a form of meditation as well as a means of transportation. As part of his desire to become a greater person, he's also very interested in meditating.
