Proserpine has a twisted personality to say the least. What drives her the most is finding a soul that can sate her thirst and while she goes after whatever catches her attention, she does not take kindly to other demons who go after ‘innocents’. Younger demons tend to stay out of her way, as she’s powerful –its said that she walked among the first humans - and has no qualms about killing her own kind if given the opportunity. Rumors abound about her split personalities, but non argue with her to her face – those that do often go missing. The oldest of the demons can attest that she is not all she appears, though its better to keep this from the younger generations. She is easily amused by the antics of others and holds grudges indefinitely – she still hunts down the descendents of those who have wronged her in the past. However, she has a soft spot for young females and children – the last flicker of her humanity. Its hard to know what she is thinking, even when she seems happy or upset.

Likes
History – more so, she likes proving it wrong. Having experienced most of history herself, she finds the theories that humans come up with more amusing than anything else. She enjoys killing her own kind and the fear in a human’s eyes when they see her coming. She also has a fondness for butterflies and moths.

Some consider her humanity a weakness and some times she agrees with them, but to her it’s the last thing she has of her mate, ironically. She is also attracted to the light and is fascinated by what it does to her, another remnant of her human days.

Strengths
Given how old she is, she’s amassed a lot of power. Her sly workings in dispatching her comrades from the shadows means she is one of the oldest demons, warranting her respect and her knowledge is valued. If the demon world had nobility, she would be in it and she knows how to use her influence to her advantage.

Appearance
Proserpine favors grays, blacks, and whites over colors. Her skin is as white as snow, her hair black as ebony, and her lips as red as blood. Its possible that some of the succubus myths took their origin from her, with her wide birthing hips, slim waist, and generous bust. Though she doesn’t recall what she looked like as a human, she knows that she has changed drastically and welcomes the change.

Family
Her mate was killed shortly after she was made. She has been alone since.

OtherProserpine was born a human before civilization took off, back when demons were well known and even worshipped. She was chosen by her tribe as a sacrifice to the ‘spirits’ in the hope that the spirits would leave her people alone. The demon that came for her was smitten by her resolve to die and that very night he made her into a demon and his mate. Her mate was killed several centuries later.
