Ghouls just wanna have fun
Tends to be defensive about his race and their culture. Do not mention the belief that the Ghal descend from dogs or wolves, in the same way that humans are said to share a common ancestry with apes. Depending on his mood, he'll either point out pedantically that they're an earthbound order of djinn, or rend you limb from limb. criticize his diet, and he'll point out that at least his lot wait till their dinner is dead before they eat it - unlike races that slaughter living animals. Talks in a high glibbering voice. Very strong, able to endure things that would make most strong men drop dead, including long marches, hits with weapons, etc. Virtually immune to infection. Very highly sexed. Safka does have his good points. He's totally non-aggressive unless provoked (see above) or attacked. He's totally without prejudice as to other races. He's sympathetic to the underdog, and tries to help the weak. And after a plague, you'd better pray for a visit from a ghoul-band, for they're the best protection against spreading plague you can get!
Usually has a long clay pipe and a supply of tobacco. usually carrying around some mouldy book or other scavenged artifact.
Safka (the name in the common tongue means "protected spirit" or, colloquially "foundling") was adopted by a ghoul colony when he was found naked and alone in his third year. He never really fitted in with his adopted life, and was forever wandering off, being disrespectful to the elders, and having affairs with ghoul females that he shouldn't have gone near. whether he was banished from his colony or left is a moot point - but he has no desire to return, and probably wouldn't be welcome if he did.
