Mhisty Talos

Leader of Shira-yuri Organization

a character in “Era of the Creatures: The End of Humans”, as played by xDarkTiger Rose

Description

Image
The Name is: *Mhisty Talos*
My Age: *21*
Gender: *Female*
Height: *Six feet tall*
I'm Affiliated With: *Shira-yuri*
My Rank is: *Leader*
I'm an: *Elf*
My Powers Include: *Fire spells. Pretty much playing with fire*
*Understanding all languages*
My Weaknesses are: *Any sharp weapon that can pierce my skin; Hand-to-hand combat*
*Lack of strength in muscle*
*Possibly her over-kindness to others when it could be bad*
Scent Identification: *Usually, she smells like the forest and earth surrounding her. When she gets mad, however, she begins to smell like cinnamon!*
Personality Check: *She is kind and wants the best for other people. She's intelligent and is able to lead people to do good, but she wouldn't ever try and enforce her ways with violence. She doesn't know how to hate, but she knows how to stand up for herself. She also is very optimistic about sorts of things and may appear, sometimes, to be hyperactive. Just because she doesn't know how to hate and doesn't enforce with violence, she can get angry. She loves giving people the benefit of the doubt.*
My Current History: *Like most elves, she grew up quietly in a forest with close friends and family. It was when she turned 13 that it was discovered she could manipulate fire. Everyone had mixed feelings about it; one, she could easily burn the area to the ground... and two; few elves have such an ability in the area she lived in, so it was special. When it was obvious that there were evil creatures trying to overtake the land for their own that she decided she would form her own group to stop them, no matter what. She didn't want the possibility of being enslaved! With this thought in mind, she had asked her elf friends and family if they wished to follow her to keep their freedom. No one accepting the offer, she just set off on her own, recruiting whoever she could. She had caught ear that the leader of the Akashinu was a demonic dragon, so she knew she would have no chance by herself. She would need as many creatures as she could for this. After some time and effort, she was able to recruit some others, but it certainly may not be enough yet. Leden, the ice dragon, was the first creature she could get to join her.*
Anything Extra: *She loves to give nicknames, although will stop if the other mentions they don't care for them*
*To have her elemental fire, she has a fire spirit that is a part of her within. This fire spirit has two parts, light and chaos. Knowing this, Mhisty refuses to use any of the chaos fire, sealing it away from her touch. This causes her to use only the light part of her fire. However, if she uses too much of her regular fire, the fire spirit can become imbalanced with more chaos than light. If this occurs, Mhisty might become more snippy than she usually is; a side effect being that slight personality change until that light fire regenerates.*

So begins...

Mhisty Talos

If Mhisty wasn't watching what the sweet creature was doing, she wouldn't have noticed him touching her right arm. She just couldn't feel it. She smiled, letting him check her arm out. She trusted him, anyway. She liked to trust just about anyone that she first meets. She watched as he scurried around her, though she was unsure why he could be doing so.

Staying seated, she watched his fingertips glowing green. What power was he using? Mhisty watched as this unknown being moved his glowing fingers upon her right arm. She was in awe as she seen her wound beginning to heal, and she had feeling coming back into her arm. Healing. That power was the ability to heal. Such a useful ability. Now she wondered what kind of creature this was for sure.

She stood up, flexing her fingers, moving her arm at her side. The fact that he even did this because he wanted to... It proved he was generous. She smiled brightly, wanting to hug him, but afraid that could scare him off. "Thank you so much. It's a great help." She wanted his name, but since he looked away, she seen his gaze going to Leden. Her smile faltered. Poor Leden. She didn't want him to have been so severely hurt. She wondered if he wanted to join them in their mission. She would ask later, though.

She watched Leden, worried for him. But he could make it. He had to. Movement out of the corner of her eye made her turn her head to see an elven woman, extending her hand out to her. Mhisty took her hand in hers. Layn. Familiar. Oh yeah, she was told about her before the devastating failed fight occurred. She smiled, noting the mountain lion wasn't around any longer. She was probably that mountain lion. Mhisty smiled, "Nice to meet you Layn." There was no need to introduce herself, as the elvish woman already seemed to know her. "I'd happily accept you into the Shira-yuri. You were that mountain lion?"

Dibbe hopped back at least 3 paces as Leden spoke his words. Better to be safe than sorry, he thought. That was the general rule he lived by, anyway. Childish irritation pulsed through the demon is his blood.

"Y-yeah sure whatever! Just, er... Calm? Or something? Jeeeeeez."

He glanced back at Mhisty as he was thanked, nodding and smiling awkwardly between looking the bloodied dragon up and down.

"Uhh... No problem, I guess...? Oh, What can I call you?"

He rubbed his head as he mumbled his replies, slowly approaching the injured creature again, timid as the faun everyone appeared to be comparing him to.

"And your name too...?"

Dibbe muttered to Leden through a wince as he studied the damage further. This looked miles out of his league but he was afraid he'd be valued as worthless if he didn't try. With his hands still alight and dancing with the emerald-coloured light, he very cautiously lay his fingers upon the wound gouged so deeply into the dragon's body.

Whoosh, Hisss!

His rather delicate powers closed the skin together flawlessly, but the torn flesh beneath was refusing to knit under his command. Dib sighed.

"...I tried, okay?!"

Vosro

Vosro watched as Renth charged up his bow, when the light became to bright and Vosro was forced to close his eyes. The bow twanged and the force of the impact could be clearly heard. Vosro opened his eyes and saw that the fox was now dead. "G-good shot." He said to Renth. Then Vosro moved to examine what remained of the fox.

Mhisty Talos

After retrieving her hand back from Layn, Mhisty smiled. "Dinosaur? Sounds interesting." She's heard of dinosaurs in very old books that the humans had created. Dinosaurs were ancient creatures, if any actually survived any longer. Doubtful. Very doubtful.

"I'm glad you see mine as the cause worthy." With people lining up to join her in her mission, they just might have a chance in defeating the Akashinu. Although, what if it was a lost cause? No, Mhisty had lots of friends, powerful and smart. She had no right to think that way. Positive thoughts. They can defeat the Akashinu.

Mhisty's eyes flitted over to Leden before landing on the faun-like creature. "Call me Mhisty... What about you?" She then turned her full attention to the healing wonders that was this creature. Although it appeared like the skin of her dragon friend was healed, she wasn't sure about the entirety. Looking back to Layn, Mhisty smiled wearily. "I'm sure any medical attention of any sort could be useful." Mhisty's mind wondered to Renth, Vosro, and Isrire. Were they okay? She really hoped they were. With Vosro knowing where the area was, surely anyway, they would have to do their best about not leaving the area until they could get back.

Her hand went up to the burnt and scabbed scratches upon her left cheek. It was painful to the touch, but as long as she didn't mess with it, it should heal just fine, maybe with little to no scar. Although, if there was no scar, that would be a miracle. Her eyes moved up to look at the many twinkling stars she could see. Even though she was ten years old when the humans were reported extinct, it appeared as if the atmosphere was healing and the stars could sparkle better than ever.

The half-demon paused.

"Er... It's 'Dib'. Don't laugh."

He puffed up his cheeks and pouted, looking away as he continued speaking.
The elf's name seemed as odd to him as he found his seemed odd to everyone else; Daemonic tongue was hard to understand and even harder to speak or master, and his name was a rather colourless example of it's peculiarities.

"Mhisty. Alright. I-I'll try and remember that."

Dibbe glanced back at Leden, expecting a reply with a rather unamused expression.

"Oh-- And I'm not being your little medic!" The creature squeaked, pacing awkwardly on his hooves. "I can only heal as much as all those angels can, and barely half as much!"

He paused again.

"Oh. And it kinda stings!"

((Ooc; I'm sorry. I enjoy making this character a butt as much as possible. xD))

“Wake the hell up brother,” A demonic voice spoke aggressively, smacking his claw like hand against Irsires face. He instinctively jolted forward panting like he awakened from a dream, or was he awakened inside of one. Irsire rubbed his cheek as he sat up glaring intensely at the demon, he looked similar to how Irsire did when he was transformed. The red skin, glowing red eyes, and horns reminded Irsire of himself, although this demon sounded a bit older and was a tad shorter than Irsire. “Brother… Resire…I’m I dead?” He asked, Irsire finally began to know exactly where he was. Resire didn’t answer only pulled Irsire from the ground and walked with him, Resire’s face was blank no emotion drew from him once Irsire recognized him. As they walked along the empty plane toward the black tower that sat in the middle of the darkened world, Resire spoke “No, brother you are alive very much alive you are nowhere near death. Father wishes to see you, and no our brother’s do not know of your arrival so keep walking I shall leave you and father alone.” Resire patted his younger brother on the back and smiled, his pointed white teeth showed as he faded back into the darkness.

Father, why bring me here to speak? So many other ways to contact, but why here? Irsire’s thoughts were scattered as he walked through the barron world, there were no tree’s, no sun, no signs of life just a moonlit world signifying death. He drew closer to the tower, he stopped at the average sized double doors the handles were blackened skulls and the door itself was made of the skeletal structure of some creature. It’s how his father got his kicks, skinning and removing all the meat from a creature just to use its bones as décor for his home. Irsire opened the door casually and walked inside, the room was brightly lit unusual for his father’s place, and he loved dark spaces. Random assorted furniture was scattered around the room, sofas, chairs, desks, candle sticks, tables , and night stands were all over the place arranged in a way where its randomness looked like it had a purpose. Head’s of exotic creatures lined the walls the funniest was the unicorn head that sat upon his father’s grand chair. He paced forward rubbing the back of his head making his way towards the next door. “Sit and relax boy,” a voice called out to him appearing in the chair behind Irsire. He was dressed like an elegant Englishman top hat, monocle, and tuxedo. He was nearly identical to Irsire in looks, just taller and more muscular with a deep scar running down from above his brow down to his cheek. Before Irsire could respond his father shot him with a force of dark energy knocking him to a chair, “you take too long to answer me child,” He told Irsire with a grin.

“Why did you bring me here Asire,” Irsire was calm, collected and relaxed although being around his father usually put him on edge. “I can’t have quality time with you boy. It’s been 100 years since we last spoke , your brothers are all dull to talk to they have no life stories to share,” Asire responded with a joke removing his hat and pushing his long hair to the side. Irsire laughed at his father’s crude joke “Well they are all dead father, you can’t expect them to have anything great to talk about. I thought I was dead once I woke up here father,” Irsire responded, though they spoke as if they were on the same page Asire had much more in store for his younger son. “Ah speaking of that boy, it seems like I must remind you of who you were. Sit still, it will only hurt,” Asire grinned with sadist’s smile as Irsire’s head was pressed against the chair and black energy was pressed into his skull penetrating into his mind.

Irsire awoken once more, this time in the realm of demons the world in which he grew up. A young demon knight rode past him and into the village behind him, Irsire made his way into the direction of the village. He knew exactly where his was and what Asire did to him, opening memories of Irsire’s repressed past and showing it back to him like a premiere of a new action movie. Nearing the town, only screams were heard, young woman, children and men were slaughtered demons entered the village killing everything in sight, some wielded magic and burned the town to the ground. But at the center the same demon knight that he had seen riding into the town was rested on his knees. Blood dripped down his face and in front of him another knight stood his helm removed and his tomato red face grinning in satisfaction. With a swift motion the demon knight impaled the downed one through the chest with a black blade, the downed knight’s body twitched and then he rose removing the blade from his chest going on a rampage killing everything around him. “Stop… Stop... JUST STOP,” Irsire cried out as the killing continued. Soon everyone in the village was dead, and standing at the center were the two knights and finally they crossed blades after a brief exchange of words. At the end only one knight stood, and that knight was Irsire, his face covered in the blood of his victims and his eyes were as red as that blood.

Irsire closed his eyes and reopened them, he was back to where he sat in the chair sitting across from his father. Asire was surrounded by six knights whose armor resembled Irsire’s, they remained silent as Asire spoke “ You killed 1,548 innocent people that day, demons, dark elf’s , avions and so on. That memory was your first real awakening, you were a child compared to your brothers they treated you as if you were trash. You could never fully let go, you could never fully transform and that day he decided if you were worth the name of “sire”. Oh my son you proved that and more, you proved what kind of monster you really were after all of that you killed your eldest brother. It was one hell of a fight but that day you were the bigger monster, the bigger killer and the stronger demon. You stopped the rouge knight that went on a rampage right? You earned your place as knight of the demon king right? You became a mass murder on that day and you hide it. You are more of a coward than the one who started that killing. STOP HIDING WHO YOU ARE, IRSIRE XION! YOU ARE A DEMON, A MURDER, ,A FIGHTER, AND A SURVIVOR START FUCKING ACTING LIKE ONE. The next time you come here my son, you will be dead and I’ll harvest your soul like the souls of your brothers. No excuses, I know Disire holds the other half of your soul I know every single action you make son. Awaken who you really are, or one day you will pay the price, and the second soul you have will not save you. You’ve beaten me once but I bet you couldn't even hold a blade against me,” Asire finished his rant, and stood extending his hand out to Irsire. Irsire couldn't speak his head was wrapped up in all he would need to say in retort to his father, but at the same time he didn’t want to formulate a response. He took what was necessary from Asire’s speech and embraced his father roughly, blood red tears dripping down his face “Although you were never there, I looked to you for acceptance father. I was the weakest, the shortest, and I had nothing that made me as impressive as my brothers. I worked for your attention, and when I seemed to get it you turned away and now I still cannot see what makes me better than my brothers. I will become the bigger monster, and I will bring back a head to mount on your wall father,” Asire smiled and hugged his son back lightly punching him in the back “Now my boy wake up,” his father told him as he let go , Irsire responded simply “I love you daddy dearest.” The six knights that sat behind Asire stood and saluted lifting their blades and thrusting them into the floor in front of them, placing one hand on the hilt of the sword and the other against their heart “Fa, Di , Re, La, Lu, Le,” they sung in harmony. Irsire then finished the hum “Ir, goodbye my brothers I love you all.”

His soul began to fade from that world returning to his broken body upon Fume’s back, the bloody red tears still running down his face. If Mhisty or Renth still held onto the black orbs he gave them, the experience that he had was shared with the two. If they tuned in to listen was up to them but it was there to be heard.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty smiled, "Just do what you can." She watched as Layn had become a cat to go in search of anything in the forest. Mhisty briefly wondered if a changeling could see in the dark? And the forest at a little past midnight would be dark.

Hearing the faun-like creature respond to her question about his name as well, she looked over at him, seeing him puffing his cheeks. "Dib? I think it's cute." She smiled, seeing how he seemed a little awkward about it. When he started talking about not being their medic, she giggled.

"We're not forcing you to be a medic, Dib. It was your choice to be kind enough to heal at least parts of us." She wanted to still walk over to him. Actually, yeah, she was going to. She stepped up to him, wanting to hug him as her thanks, but in the middle of opening her arms up to move towards Dib, a strange thing invaded her mind, causing her to tilt her head to the side. It was probably a strange, maybe awkward sight.

She froze, knowing the feeling was from Irsire and the black orb he had given her a while back. Standing in the exact same position, she listened to what was going on. She could easily distinguish Irsire's voice in the back of her mind. She flinched at a deep voice that she picked up on being Irsire's father yelling at him. She heard everything from what seemed like a flashback, and she had a very bad feeling. She nudged in her mind, touching the tiny black orb in her pocket, Irsire, what's going on? Her face right now probably appeared to be one of worry and puzzlement.

Vee had finished fighting off a horde of goblins, thirty or so from what she could count, that had been trailing after the first one. Dark blood-streaked skin, beady eyes, rotten teeth, and mean grins. It wasn't something she would like to see, especially if there was violence involved. After they were finished off, she was left with a few small scratches here and there and a few deeper scratches around her arms and back. After taking a quick inventory of her injuries, a grey-feathered griffon tried snapping up Vee's head from behind but it missed when Vee ducked and rolled. It was lying lifeless on the ground not long after that and another griffon with red feathers was heading for her.

It had left a gash in her left arm before Vee was teleported to the field with the others. Her mind wandered off and she spaced out, wondering who had teleported her there and what was going on back in the town. She was thinking so deeply she didn't notice the others going about. She finally noticed where they were, she sat down on the ground, started gently wiping her injuries as cleanly as she could, and spotted someone new. 'Kind of reminds me of a satyr but not quite. She flinched as she accidently pressed down on a dark bruise she hadn't even noticed. When a puzzled and maybe even worried look crossed Mhisty's face, Vee couldn't help but ask. "Hey, is everyone okay? Well, physically and mentally?" She knew Layn was healthy enough seeing as she had just wondered into the forest as a cat, searching for something.

After Dib had stated his desire not to be a medic (and quite rudely at that), Leden let out a low growl, reminding them of his presence. "Watch the way you speak to Mhist." Leden said, attempting to push himself up off of the ground despite his weakened state due to blood loss. "Because if I catch you being disrespectful to her... well, I might be an ice dragon, but roasted goat is still a favorite of mine."

Leden fell back to lying face-down in the dirt, unable to hold himself up any longer. His wings lay stretched out and limp beside him, and his tail didn't move at all. If it weren't for the slow, shallow inflation and deflation of his chest when he breathed, he could easily have been mistaken for being dead. It wouldn't have been surprising if someone had thought he was at first; his breathing was barely noticeable, after all. A single thought kept him from succumbing to the darkness of unconsciousness that loomed at the edge of his vision.

"Mhist..." Leden thought. "I'll keep on going for you. You still need my help."

"Sure sure, Whatever works..."

Dibbe cast his eyes over his shoulder, raising a brow in confusion.

"...Yeah?"

He made an odd, flushed, and slightly amused expression. Mhisty seemed to be somewhere else, rather distant, and overall: stuck. He was rather uncomfortable with contact (and hugging) to start with, but this was just weird. The creature sighed through his little pointy teeth and stiffly put an arm around Mhisty's tensed shoulders, patting her on the back twice, then letting go and darting backwards in retreat. Good enough, right? Yeaaah.

Dib winced at Leden's sudden 'contribution' to the conversation. He didn't like being snarled at, no matter what by, and ended up unconsciously back-peddling further. His boyish smirk was smashed into a defensive pout, narrowing his luminous eyes, and turning his head to face the dragon.

"Hey! If it weren't for me you'd be dead right now! S-SO.. UM... SHUTYOURFACE!"

Only vaguely true, the immature critter continued to spout his defence, shaking a little as his bark was always ten times the size of than his bite.

"AND I'M NOT A GOAT!"

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty shook her head when Dib patted her on the back. No hugging occurred because of what she had been hearing, but the creature was nice enough to find some way to comfort her. If that was what it was. Vee's voice caught her attention and she turned her purple gaze to her. Her question made her wriggle lightly.

"Honestly, for the ones that are not here, I don't know. Vosro hasn't come back, Renth is probably with him, and I'm worried about Irsire." Was it a nightmare, or a flashback that I heard of his? "For me, Dib was nice enough to heal the arm that was useless earlier. Got some scratches," she gestured to her cheek with the scabbed and burnt scratches that came in three jagged, sort of parallel strokes, from her hairline closer to the edge of her lip, "and my mental status is fine. Len over there got injured badly. In fact, I think we need to head into the nearest town, even if Dib had tried his absolute best in helping him." Without even asking. Sweet one. Even if he seemed jumpy and could probably be seen as rude in others eyes.

The question was, how would they move Leden if he was in the state he was in? Was anyone else here strong enough? She knew she wasn't. She had tried lifting him before. All she got was... well... nothing except straining her arms until she was tired.

Leden's voice caused her to look over. Leden sounded, well... angry. She frowned. "Leden, he was being nice. We didn't even ask him." She jumped when he fell back into the ground and Dib was able to yell. She didn't think he was really capable. She moved over to Leden, kneeling next to him and trying to get a hold on him so he wouldn't be face-down. Kind of difficult, it was. "What are you, Dib?" She wasn't exactly sure, because a faun was not the case.

She glanced around, not liking how dark the surrounding area was. "I think we should try and find a town nearby now. Do you think Layn may be able to find us if we move?" As much as she didn't want to, she figured changelings had great senses of smell.

(( The nearest town is going to have guards posted, so it's going to be a town that may be somewhat defensive. I had an idea that can happen to Mhisty as the heroes wait for Vosro and Renth to have to trek back to them, since Vosro can no longer teleport. :3 ))

Dib nodded smugly, folding his bony arms, voice still oh so slightly raised.

"Yeah! I wasn't even asked."

He snorted, smirking as Mhisty disciplined Leden. Dibbe didn't seem to be taking this all too seriously anymore, and was down to grinning through his pointed teeth, somehow at the same time as pacing awkwardly. He never really seemed to stop moving, and fidgeted everywhere like a bored toddler.
As soon as the elf asked a certain question though, his smile dropped right off his cheeks. He lowered his brows in annoyance, looking a little embarrassed, his voice becoming an irritated mumble.

"A-A little personal?!"

He stammered, fidgeting even more.

"W-Well, if you really HAVE to know, or something..."

Dibbe looked to his right, then to his left, as if checking the coast was clear for something.

"Half-winged poof." He lifted a heel, tapping the feathers. "Half evil bastard." He pouted, and gestured to his pointed ears and horns. His tail flicked behind him, it ending in a short burst of yellow feathers, it being another representation of his father, and his hooves being a rather dominant 'gift' from his mother. He tried to quickly change the subject.

"C-can we go somewhere now? I mean, I'm probably going to follow you guys for a bit... It seems safe..."

"Fine, fine..." Leden said to Mhisty, sighing. "Sorry." He heard Dib's comment and looked at him, narrowing his eyes as he analyzed him.

"We're either gonna get along really well or really poorly, kid." Len said, staggering to his feet. He clutched his stomach where the spear had exited his body, not sure how long he could stand for. He grinned a bit, despite the pain that was apparent on his face.

"Let's keep going." He said. "Don't wanna hold you up. Dunno the last time I had trouble walking straight when I was sober, but don't let me slow you down."

Mhisty held up her hands gently towards Dib, "I'm sorry, you're right. That is personal." Although, he had still answered. She wondered what he meant by "poof." Did he mean part angel? Then part demon? It made sense.

His question to going, she agreed. She nodded, "I think there is a town nearby. We should go there." Mhisty got up off her knees, standing close to Leden, just in case. "If you need to lean on me, you can." The only thing that might go wrong with that is if he passed out. They'd both fall to the ground!

She glanced around, guessing that the town would be close. Vosro wouldn't have teleported them in the middle of a meadow in the middle of a forest, would he?

(( I will be getting a Fume, then Okami post next, then the timeskip of an hour, to get Fume to her spot. Ghost_Scar, I'm going to have it where he meets Fume near where she's going to be, to get this moving along. The fight between Vosro, Renth and Okami and Omega has to be tied up quickly. Basically, the fight is going to be vague and Okami gets to get killed. There is already someone decided to kill him, so if you don't know about it, that's not you.))

Finally, in the city-town! It took some guilt-tripping to the guards that were at the entrance, but they managed. It appeared that it could have been too dark for them to see Leden, or they didn't really think of him to be a dragon. Actually, it seemed like they could barely see them at all.

Once in the town, helping Leden if he wanted or needed it, and probably the others following, she managed to spot an inn close to the market on the east side of the city-town that appeared to be full of faeries and elves.

She was exhausted and needed rest, but first she wanted to make sure everyone was okay, especially Leden. Mhisty was still very worried about Irsire, since he had never responded to her when she questioned him via the black orb he had given her a while back.

Stepping into the inn, she smiled, going to the male fae at the desk, "Two rooms?" She figured it would be best to do one room for guys, being Dib and Leden, and one for girls, being Layn who had yet to come back, Vee, and herself. The fae wrote something down and held his hand out, not even telling her the price. She pulled out the leather pouch she had, placing a couple coins, unsure of what he would accept. He still held his hand out, raising an eyebrow. Mhisty placed another coin in his hand and he finally just took his hand away, waving them off. He was quiet, that was for sure. "See you around, then," said Mhisty.

She looked to the others, if they were still around, before walking down the hall for the two rooms he had assigned them. She just wanted to pass out on the bed... or floor. Whichever she got to first.

Dibbe smirked, giggling as Mhisty managed to gain entry into the town. Good girl, he thought.

As he entered the inn, he kept a low profile. He could feel some of the glares on his skin from the faerie folk and made sure to glare back twice as hard. He looked back to Mhisty, a little wound up. Boys' room? Girls' room with Layn?

"I have to share a room with him?! What if it's super awkward with a double bed and stuff!"

The crossbreed fidgeted madly in frustration.

"I'm getting there first, though!"

He proclaimed proudly, pointing in the air. He then proceeded to dart upstairs, only a small yellow and green blur, skidding to a stop outside the room doors. He yelled down, with little regard to other sleeping folk:

"SEE? I GOT HERE FIRST!"

Dibbe was certainly not the indoors-y type.

"Okay, okay, take the damn bed, I'll sleep on the floor." Leden growled. He then turned to Mhisty, shaking his head and sighing a bit.

"Anyway, I don't intend to sleep. After that incident, it would be best for someone to keep watch." Leden said. "I'll wait outside the rooms and make sure nothing happens, okay? You guys can sleep safely. I'll wake you up if there's any trouble. Thanks for getting the rooms." Without waiting for a response, Len took up a position in the rafters between the two rooms. The darkness made it exceedingly difficult, if not impossible, to see him, and the likelihood of him being noticed in his perch was all but nonexistent. He was fully prepared to keep watch, as not many of them were even around or capable of going weeks without sleep like the Ice Dragon was. Even if one of them was a rude, annoying little prick. It's not like he'd get any sleep with Dib around. The stupid goat would find some reason to make noise or keep him awake, if he managed to fall asleep at all. Worry for the others and pain from his injury would be enough to keep him awake anyway.

However, there was a part he wasn't telling them. He had no intention of remaining there after the others had fallen asleep. Leden planned to leave a message for them with the innkeeper that he would be departing for a few days, if not longer, and make a trip back to his mountain territory. The snow helped accelerate his healing by a great amount, and it would be necessary to fully recover. The fact that he was still alive was due only to the fact that he was a dragon, but he knew the wound impaired his ability to maintain a human form, despite how easy it normally was. Leden didn't think becoming a full dragon in the midst of so many people would be a good idea. He knew that it was entirely possible for him to maintain the form, but he didn't want to take the chance, however small it may be.

Besides, he'd have a chance to find Irsire. Leaving him was not anything Leden intended to do; Irsire and Mhisty were, in Leden's mind, his two closest friends in the Shira-Yuri. Len felt he had no other choice but to find him. He only hoped Mhisty wouldn't catch onto his plan before he left, because he knew she would be opposed to it.

Mhisty Talos

Mhisty sighed, afraid that the disagreement would happen, but she didn't really think one of the girls would like it if a male was in the same room. She wasn't sure. She also hoped Layn would come back soon. She watched as the hyper Dib run ahead, yelling his claim of getting there first.

Leden's voice caused her to look at him, and she was going to respond, but he was already up in the rafters. She pouted. She came here for the most part for Leden to get at least a little rest, not stand watch.

She looked to Vee, wondering how tired she could be. Looking to Dib, she handed him the key to the door, "I have something I want to ask you... After we all wake up. Okay?" She smiled lightly at him before turning to the door that would lead to the room she rented for her, Vee, and Layn.

Putting the key into the door, she got it open. The room was dark, but she could sense someone in the room. She flicked a glowing and light fire into her hand, seeing the figure of a male on one of the beds. She raised an eyebrow, wondering to one, how did he get there? And two, what did he want?

"Uhm, hello? Who are you?" She looked carefully at the figure, unsure.

(( I'm adding a concept to Mhisty's power that I forgot to mention! :D ))

Asire

Asire awaited calmly as Mhisty opened the door, she lit the room first with a dim flame "Awh come on I like the dark," He spoke with a grin relaxing on the bed sitting forward a little "Try not to make anything out of this I rather not fight, but if you do I could always just take your soul to get at the boy. I assume you hold on of these," Asire finished his semi threat to Mhisty, he wanted to fight he hasn't done so in years but he knew better. She was a kind soul, he could feel it the leader of Shinra-Yuri he would be getting involved with. Asire shrugged and created the same exact orb the Mhisty held somewhere on her person "It takes him a few to make these, I make them within seconds since the one you held has been around the longest I came to you first. I'm here to help in a way, Irsire is being held captive somewhere I am offering to help you directly since all of you got your asses handed to you," The sarcasm and rudeness protruded from Asires voice, so far no one in the Shinra-Yuri had proved anything to him in terms of power, standing from where he had sat looking directly to Mhisty

"Speak to me when you're ready you look dead, My name is Asire if you cannot tell me and the kid is related you're blind," Asire remarked smugly and went to the corner of the room to relax, sitting on the floor a descent bit away from the beds. "You got separate rooms for a reason right? To lazy to move," he spoke with a grin and closing his eyes aiming to connect with his son.

Irsire Xion

Once again Irsire found himself awake in another plane, except this time he was already inside the tower. His mind was wondering from tons of different topics, one major one was Mhisty he wanted to make sure she was safe he wanted to make sure that she wasn't suffering the same fate as him. Being carried off to some unknown place to be held, or even killed Irsire didn't even focus on why he was back here.

With a swift remark he spoke "Why am I here again father, we already spoke about what I needed to do," Irsire said allowed now focusing on his father and the world that he brought him into, with a second look he noticed that Asire wasn't even present. However it wouldn't last long as he plopped into his huge chair with a grin written across his face. "Well my son I like checking up on someone who has been knocked out for some hours now, god its so hard to be a good father," Asire replied with a smile still written across his face. Irsire was not amused, when his father smiled like that it was always bad news for anyone involved he didn't want his father to bud in on anything he had under control. "What the hell did you do?" Irsire said with a look of anger and annoyance, which made Asire smile all the bit more. "Contacted your master and told her the deep hole you're in, and that I am offering my help to get you saved. Why do you care, we are helping you my son. What you don't want to look bad?" Asire commented.

This pissed Irsire off more, he didn't need Mhisty knowing the situation that he was in he knew that eventually he could get away once he gathered up the power to do it. He hated involving his father and this wouldn't be a great time either, "You care more for the elf than you let on, your loyalty runs deeper than this cause stupid. Once you see that you won't have all of these problems, be yourself and not a servant then maybe she'll see it. But I'm just a demon, one who knows not of love," Asire cut off his sons thoughts with those simple statements. "I'm not going to allow how I feel to influence my actions, I'm leaving father," Irsire departed from the world that his father dragged him into and finally awoke. And like before this voice echoed through the orb that Mhisty contained

His left arm felt like mush, but the darkness in the cave allowed some of the cuts on his arm to heal. "Dragon bitch, rematch when I get my sword," Irsire told Fume while he rested on her back. The stench of rotting flesh hit his nose "God you smell like a rotting dead body," he told her. He knew moving would be stupid he had no chance of running away but insulting her all the way till he got to his destination would be the plan.

Dib took the keys in his palm. They were a little weighty, probably made of some crude iron material. He stuffed it in the right pocket on his shorts and smirked gleefully as he watched Leden leave. If there's one thing he liked it was getting his way.

The creature raised a yellow eyebrow at Mhisty's statement.

"Whaa..? O-oh, yeahsure. I guess."

Shifting uncomfortably the crossbreed muttered a small 'thanks' and then jammed the key in the room's door. Turning it a few times, the rusted lock gave in and the heavy door scraped open. 'A rather simple room, for rather simple people' he thought. Dib then proceeded to slam it shut again behind him and pounce into bed, curling up like an animal, tail wrapped around him.
