Unique Body Features: His face is made entirely of sharp, pointy features, both literally and figuratively. There is the pair elongated ears on the side of his head, which he gets from his goblin heritage. Then there is his crooked smile, full of sharp teeth. Next, is his large, pointed nose. And finally, his eyes; small and beaded, that look to stare daggers at any in his gaze.

Quirks
Grief is most noted for twisted sense of humor. He has a habit of finding the unfunny, hilarious. What is more peculiar about this, is his unique laugh. Which is really more of cackle that grows in volume the longer he laughs.

Fears
Grief has no fears what so ever. He is surprisingly a optimist, always finding the best of a situation. Those that know him, often joke that he would laugh in the face of death when it is finally his time.

Goal
Much like his fears, Grief has no major goal. Not even when he has accepted quest, is he focused on killing the target. He actually doesn't even need to know who the target is, since he would prefer to kill everyone in the vicinity. But, if Grief did have one objective in life, it would be to die smiling.

Likes
    • Grief's love for humor, funny antics, and laughter runs deep. It could stem from his ruined childhood and how he never really got to express himself. Either way, there is nothing more he loves than to tell a good joke or pull a prank. It is the reason he dresses as a court jester, along with his great admiration of them. However, he could never be one himself, since his jokes tend to not go so well with the crowd and come off as dark and demented.


    • Since he was just a tike, Grief has been learning alchemy. He loves the ins and outs of it all, turning one object to another; it amazes him. The complexities of the transmutations, makes him focus on the work at hand, therefore calming him. It is just about the only time you can find him quiet and serious, working like a mad scientist inside caravan lab.

    • Who would think that someone named Grief Sorrow loves to have fun. If he wasn't a diabolical murderer, he would be the life of the party, instead of taking the lives of everyone at the party. No matter what though, any type of event or party in Cam Lire, you can bet Grief will be there, and it is sure to be a blast!

Dislikes
    • It is rather obvious that Grief would have a major disliking for moments of seriousness or lacking fun. Moments like those are boring and unless he is working in his lab, then he doesn't care for them. So you can expect the moment to be interrupted very soon or his absence.


    • Torment is just another one of Greif's many joyous childhood memories. Whether he endured it from his peers or mentors, it seemed liked everyone had something to criticize him about. Now an adult, ridicule is still something he can't handle. Because killing everyone who makes fun of you, is not good self control at all.

    • Greif's dream was to be a famous performer, known worldwide for raising spirits with his comical acts. But, there was one thing that stopped him from achieving his dream: his dislike of being the center of attention. He can handle a hand full of people, all focusing on him. But, throw in a hundred or more, and he starts to get nervous. And when he gets nervous, he starts to panic. This would be Greif's one fear, but he overcame it a long time ago. Once, Grief has panicked, he is no longer thinking clearly and his mind comes to a simple solution. If the problem is the large amount of people, then lower their numbers...

Strengths
It is Grief's unpredictability that makes him such an intimidating opponent. Will he pull out a large hammer and begin swinging it wildly or will he change to chemicals in your body and make you a walking bomb? You never know what this abomination is capable of, and that is his strength.

Weaknesses
Giref is not a formidable foe, he isn't considered a real physical threat. Overwhelming him is the key to defeating him. You can accomplish this physically or mentally, since neither is specifically his field of expertise. Also he is only a threat to enemies at close or medium range, anyone far enough away is sure to gain a slow, but sure victory.

Clothing/Armor
      [Above Average] Fool's Disguise: When it comes to his clothes, Grief focus is to keep mobility modified to offer more protection. He isn't the fastest person, so he doesn't care about sacrifing it, but doesn't want to encumbered either. So his custom tailored fool's clothing is made of simple fabrics, hardened leathers, all reinforced by a light chain-mail. There are also numerous hidden pouches and pockets, used to store his tools and hide weapons.

      [Below Average] Wanderer's Cloak: Although Grief dislikes it, sometimes he must lay low and go unseen. Being a murderer he often a face on wanted posters and his mug is not one often mistaken. So for the times he wants to go unnoticed and undiscovered, he where this cloak. It is large and black, covering everything from head to toe. It is also works nicely to provide protection against the elements, but not so much against attacks.

Combat Prowess
    • [Good] Combat Alchemy: Many alchemist use alchemy to for battle purposes, but in a way a merchant does a sword. Grief however, is one of the few who use alchemy as a warrior would his blade. He is completely devoted to this technique, going as far as to inscribe transmutation circles on his body.

    • [Below Average] Hand-to-Hand Combat: Because of his savage heritage, Grief is a naturally gifted fighter, but not a skilled one. He has brute strength and killer instincts, which will aid him in a fight.
      But, in a fight against someone who has been throughly trained, it wouldn't be wise to bet on a Grief.

    • [Above Average] Armed Combat: Put a weapon in his hand, and this savage brawler becomes all the more deadly. Because his choice of weapon are large and blunt, it is not wise to stand near him. Any fool wildly swinging a weapon can take out even the most experienced warrior. And Grief is better than any fool.

    • [Good] Ranged Combat: Grief isn't skilled with any traditional ranged weapon, but rather proficient in throwing ones; particularly, alchemy made explosives. He has a great throwing arm and almost always hits his mark or close enough to get the desired result.

Abilities
    • [Perfect] Psychotic Mind: The mind of a mad man is a intricate one. When used correctly, it can be quite useful, for instance: Grief is immune to torture and pain. It isn't a thing of mind over matter or having great endurance. To his damaged mind it all appears a game to him. Another benefit is his carelessness. Grief can murder women, kids, the elderly, and not think twice about it; it means nothing to him.

    • [Perfect] Comedic Rage: Grief can enter fits of rage where he blacks out and starts killing and destroying things at random. The difference between his rage and others, is that he has a large, permanent grin and is laughing loudly, the entire time. Friend or foe, neither matters to him while in this state. He won't stop until his body can no longer move him foreword. He can manually trigger this ability or it will activate on its own when he is nervous or panicked. While useful in times of need, it has major side-effects: minor-major injuries, extreme exhaustion, head-splitting pains, and possible death from the stress and/or sustained injuries.

    • [Below Average] Savage Heritage: Grief's heritage is to thank for a lot of his abilities. The most obvious is his height, which he obviously got from the troll side of his family. Other than that, he enhanced senses, survival and killer instincts, brute strength, improved agility and reflexes. But, due to his raising, most of this is dormant and only surfaces in heated combat or during fits of rage.

Transmutations
    • [Excellent] Spike Surge: This ability causes spiked objects to erupt from the floor or whatever surface Grief's hand make contact with. He can do this in one of two ways. Area, which causes the spikes to erupt in small radius around him. Or -- Linear, which causes the spikes to form in straight row in front of him.

    • [Average] Dividing Wall: Similar to Spike Surge, Dividing Wall is an ability that causes a large wall to sprout from the surface Grief's hand makes contact with. The ability is used for purely defensive purposes, and can usually take a great deal of damage, but it depends on the material touched.

    • [Average] Improvised Weapon: This is alchemy at its basic form, taking one object and turning it into something else. With this ability, Grief can turn raw metal into a sword suitable for combat. There are of course limitations, which go hand in hand with the laws of alchemy, but the ability is what it is.

    • [Perfect] Explosive Transfusion: A favored ability of Grief's is turn to make is to turn the human body into an explosive. He does so by turning bodily fluids into explosive materials, literally turning the body into a time bomb. Or he can create an unstable imbalance of energy in whatever matter he touches, causing it to explode violently.

Spells
[Excellent] Living Ink: Since alchemist are mages in a sense, Grief is capable of performing and understanding low levels of magic. With his limited knowledge and the assistance of more adept mage, he has perfected a technique to enhance his alchemy. Using special ink that is created through arcane means, Grief is able change the ink on his palms at will. It isn't as much a spell as it is an ability, but it is still magical in nature.

    • [Excellent] Alchemic Understanding: Grief has a excellent grasp on alchemy, he understands all the basic principles and laws, it almost comes natural to him.

    • [Poor] Performing Arts: Though not a true performer, Greif can perform some basic tricks which are enough to get him past guards.

    • [Perfect] Murderous Intent: Despite what you may think, a killer and a murderer is not the same thing. Anyone can be a killer, but being a murderer is just not in the souls of everyone. Few men and women can continuously kill and hurt others. It is a skill like any other, you must train and practice daily. Furthermore, it is a hunger that is never satisfied.

Weapon Description/Info: Melvin is not one weapon, but many. He doesn't exist, but is summoned when needed. This unique weapon is obtained through transmutation, but is based on an original design. Long ago, Grief actually did posses this weapon, but it was destroyed in one of his fits of rage. So he now creates it from a stone block, metal door, or whatever else. This is actually more efficient for him, since he is no longer weighed down by constantly carrying such a large weapon.

Weapon Description/Info: This is the key to Grief's combat alchemy, it is why he is able to create so many transmutations on the fly. By willing the ink on his palm, he can create the needed transmutation circle and perform it through contact with the chosen surface.

Weapon Description/Info: This is a large number of potions created by Grief for combat. Each potion can do different things, from: freezing instantly, causing fire, invisibility, healing, etc. Because the potions for combat only work when two chemicals are combined, they are placed in unique duel chambered vials. This way, when they are broken the liquids combine and react. Otherwise, the contents must be drunken or spilled.
