Personality
Frank is called "Freak", not because he's a mutant, but because of his extremely fragile mental state. He'll often not know what to believe, even to the point where he doesn't know if he's a mutant or not. Certain things will trigger certain memories, which will cause Frank to freak-out. If his freak-out gets bad enough, BOOM. Say good-bye. His telepathy doesn't help either, since he hears every thought...certainly not good for his self-esteem or sleeping patterns.
However, if the moment is just right, Frank will be Frank; a fun-lovin' kid who just wants to lean back and have not a care in the world. Have a laugh, a Coke, and a good ol' game of cards...DnD, if you got it.
Equipment
Frank is near-sighted, and requires glasses to see correctly. Additionally, he'll be seen playing with a girly diamond ring--his mother's--that he keeps on a chain around his neck and carries a small leather-bound Bible that looks as if it got scorched in the flames of hell--a reminder of his father. Sometimes he'll even talk to these items.
History
Frank was a nice, sweet, nerdy boy. He did show signs of mental issues at an early age, but it was never considered that he could have been a mutant.
It wasn't until high school that these questions arose. Being the nerd, Frank often got picked on by the older kids, beat up and humiliated for shits and giggles. For the entire year, Frank put up with this, until one day, when they approached, he wished they were dead. He closed his eyes and wished ever so hard that they were dead. When he opened his eyes, the mean boys began to fight each other, strangling and wringing each other's necks, until only one was left, who killed himself by repeatably bashing his head into the floor until his skull cracked and the blood ran out. This, combined with the numerous cases of Frank mysteriously knowing information that was secret to each person, made Frank's parent's worry. Come the lab results, they learn that their son was a mutant. As the SWAT Teams came to his home to take him away, Frank freaked-out--but differently. His eyes glowed a bright red as a hum of energy filled the air, until...
BOOM.
Everything was gone. Besides some remnants of bones and burning skin, the only thing that remained of Frank's mother and father was her ring and his Holy Bible.
Now, Freak is on the run, running...somewhere. Anywhere. Anywhere where he can be at peace, where he can know the truth...
