Rules:

1. This RP is based in 1940's. Any interpretation after then of a certain characters can't be used. For example, little mermaid was made in 1989 and the story was in 1836. You could use the story but not Ariel the Disney version. So that people get more creative and don't stick to what they've seen.

2. Every resident of the fairytale community gets a vanity mirror (like the "Mirror, Mirror" one.) It hides their complexion making them look human, so normal people don't flip shit over the anthropomorphized 3 little pigs. Human characters like Alice would have no problem with this. It's precautionary. They left their stories for their own reasons some escaping and this helps. So any "creature" is advised to be disguised in public though its not mandatory.

3. Royalty plays little factor to everyday living. Kings and Queens lose their power from their story. The Queen of hearts would still be the Queen of Hearts but she can't execute. They don't live in castles but, at best a nice apartment and sometimes even the nasty ones.

4. Don't put two and two together. These are bad times. Cinderella coming here wouldn't probably have a shoe store just cause of the glass slipper. Some characters resort to crime to stay alive. Be creative with their new lives. Imagine it a few years after. Are they still happy? What if Cinderella became a secretary becuase the Prince had an affair with her Stepsister, and after she embarrassed her stepmother by marrying him, she wouldn't let her back in. She's not cheerful anymore she's cynical shes depressed and has no hope anymore. Although I don't want to see only depressed characters. Perhaps since the Mad Hatter is no longer a resident of Wonderland, he is sane. Beast and Belle can be very happy together except maybe they didnt kiss in time and the beast is still a beast.

5. Be creative. Don't make the characters like they were in the stories, and don't make them completely unrecognizable. Make sure you know what your character well so you can tweak their quirks and qualities.
