Personality

Ajak is a clever and witty guy, never failing to see even a bit of humor in the darkest of situations. He is sociable and suave though quite a bit clumsy. He often acts on impulse. He is brave but not heroic, never needlessly throwing himself in to danger. In the interest of living he often avoids conflict unless necessary and keeps his nose clean of politics and other going on. He puts up a witty and sarcastic front but is quite stricken with his condition and worry plagues him daily.

Equipment

A blue leather tunic with straps and boots, a white arm warp. A short sword, grappling hook, throwing daggers, and Magical Staff. The staff is blue with various unreadable scribblings along the shaft. Atop the staff sits a clear and shiny gemstone.

Magic/Skills/talents

Thievery: Ajak is sneaky and cunning, able to pick locks and other such talents.

Blue Burst: Ajak can launch an explosive orb of energy from the staff sending it at his foes.

Force field: Ajaks staff can emit a circular blue field of energy to shield attacks.

Energized: The staff is bursting at the brim with energy. Melee attacks made with the staff are forceful and violent often causing sparks to explode from the staff.

History

Wanderer, explorer, and opportunist all describe Ajak, some may even call him a thief though he would scoff at it. How can one steal from the dead? looting ruins and long lost tombs surely couldn't qualify as thievery he would say. Though he would have a rougher time explaining his escapades in rich beautiful mansions and immaculate palaces. Ajak steals from the rich knowing they ever rarely miss what he takes, is his also an adventurer exploring all manner of ancient ruins in search of treasure. One fateful day he when trekking through an ancient tomb he found a beautiful gemstone encrusted staff buried alongside someone in a sarcophagus. Realizing its value he immediately clutched in his hands and as he did an immense pain surged through his body.

Within days of touching the staff a curse had engulfed his entire right arm, turning its pitch black and making it as dry and cracked as a desert plains. He fears the curse will slowly consume his entire body and he will eventually die for his greed. To this day he search's for a cure in additions to rich's of treasure. Despite his ailment he never parted with the staff, he felt a strange attachment to it, more so when he found that it was no normal trinket but a staff imbued with the powerful essence mana. The relic is powerful and the curse appeared to be a defense mechanism, though Ajak is technically a citizen of Fangoria and was indeed born with mana in his veins, but never learned any of it.

However with the staff in hand Ajak can channel the staffs energy into impressive feats of magic forged from the pure essence of mana itself. Spells performed with the staff appear as a blue glowing energy. Ajak is a formidable fighter even without the staff, skilled at throwing knives and swordplay.
