Background: Landon grew up in the Projects of Dallas, Texas. A rough, predominantly black and Hispanic neighborhood rife with violence and crime.
As well as being born to a single mother, Landon had to learn quickly how to defend himself quickly, his hostile environment and size turned him into a natural brawler.
Well on down the road, Landon began gaining respect, and beginning to recognize his fighting prowess through others, he sought something more challenging, so he picked up and began to learn Mix-martial arts at the age of sixteen. This too, he learned quickly, impressing his instructors and sparring partners alike.
As for school, with the loving support of his mother, Landon passed as valedictorian and went on to attend a year at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, for once really enjoying his life.
Unfortunately, this was short lived. Landon's mother was killed in a carjacking near her home in the Projects, this started a Domino Effect on Landons life, leading up to his expulsion from TCU ( Due to a very nasty fight in which he placed two athletes in the hospital) and his enlistment in the Marine Corp.
Landon was still in the Marines when Stim became available to the military, and as such, used it.
Eight years later, Landon's enlistment was finally up, and he left as a Staff Sergeant. He met an old friend from the MMA studio he attended in Dallas who set him up in the Ultimate Fighter Championship, where Landon had been for two years and holds the record for fastest knockout, his fight-record set at 6-1-0.
