The Element of Light, a laboratory-created being with the form of a human.
Selene has not been acquainted with much in the way of human emotion; her entire world consists of the coming and going of but a few researchers, and the pain that accompanies their attempts to harness her powers, thus far largely unsuccessful. She is distant, largely numb, but every once in a while, she begins to think about what life might be like outside of her prison.
(I imagine much of her personality will have to be developed through the IC, given her present circumstances.)
None.
Selene awoke one day in a liquid suspension tank, and has not slept since. She has been known to drift in and out of a trancelike state on occasion, but most of the time her brainwave activity is too intense to allow for ordinary sleep. Those who synthesized her from the magical energies of the world believe this is due to the constantly-active nature of these forces, but it seems to defy full explanation as yet.
She was kept carefully-ignorant of the fact that she might be able to manipulate those energies herself, and her propensity for white magic was discovered quite accidentally, after a particularly painful experiment. Her body simply reacted, and she cast Cura without even knowing what it was. She has not yet thought that this might be possible for offensive magic as well, since she does not know of the existence of such things. She emits light when scared, and once caused the electricity in the entire lab to shut down, though she does not know that this was her doing.
Selene was given her name by one of the researchers, though most of the time, they refer to her as "The Element," and only the rookie scientist assigned to take care of her ever uses the name. She has a strange speech pattern, often referring to herself as "this one" rather than "I."
