"My, what a cute young boy," A woman in white said. Satoshi looked up at her and smiled cheerfully.
"Hi, I'm Satoshi," He mini saluted and looked around, "So where am I?"
"You're in a hospital, dear."
Another nurse suddenly dashed into the hallway running into a cart and falling in front of Satoshi. She rubbed her ankle and looked up apologetic to the others.
“Nurse!” cried the first “are you alright”
“I’m fine” the second replied her voice rushed, as she used the cart to pull herself up.
“my dear why are you running in the halls”
It was obvious the second nurse was only in training
“it’s her” she breathed “she’s…”

Kenta

Kenta knew immediately his word choice had been the absolute worst choice.
"H-Hag?" The girl said placing a hand to her cheek her eyes sparkling with the tears that were threatening to breach its boundaries, she shoved the boy and turned around crossing her arms, "Obviously, you've never talked to a woman outside of your family in your life!" She wiped her eyes for emphasis.Dangit….I’ve upset her Kenta thought. He sighed glancing at the street and turned back whatever I’m good as late already. Might as well do the right thing.

He stepped closer to the girl “Hey I..I didn’t mean it look I’m so..rry, I was just…. he bit his lip dang I already sound like a jerk “It doesn’t matter what, just let me make it up to you ok. I’ll " I don’t have any money to spare what do I offer her Kenta wasn’t the richest kid and seeing as how he hadn’t gotten his week’s pay he really didn’t have any money.

“I’ll take you home?” he said it like a question, knowing it was a pathetic excuse but he really didn’t have much better to offer. Staring at the ground he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief he thrust it forward mumbling.

“here…”



The girl’s smile softened "I'm surprised. It's a big tree. Last time I fell out of if, I broke my ankle," she laughed lightly. Glancing back up the tree, she bit her lips and sighed. Then looked back at the boy.

"I'm Fuyona, pleased to meet you," Cocking her head at an angle she smiled brightly at the boy and held her hand out.
Takashi smiled back, this human girl was nice. He took her hand and said simply

“Takashi”

Nirane

Nirane blinked and stared at him. She took the handkerchief and looked at it for a second, before handing it back to him. "Home?" She paused, "Oh! That's right! I should find one of those," she nodded then looked back at him and wrapped her arms around his neck, "You. Who are you? I'm Nirane, it's a pleasure." Nirane grinned at him.


Satoshi

Satoshi tilted his head and looked at the second nurse, curious.
"What's going on?" He asked.


Fuyona

Fuyona's eyes widened and she blushed terribly. Pulling her hand away, she set her hands on her cheeks.
"I'm sorry. Whenever I hear that name I just...Oh, dear..." Laughing she stood up and held her hand out again, "Where are you from, Takashi?"

At the Hospital

Satoshi tilted his head and looked at the second nurse, curious.
"What's going on?" He asked.

The nurse ignored him too frantic. The first bent over her “Sunny calm down, you can’t freak out like this if you’re going to be a nurse”


She looked up at Satoshi “right….” Her eyes glazed over and she smiled instantly calm. Composed she said “She’s awake”

“She?”

“Yes she, ‘that patient’ “Her eyes widened adding emphasis.

“Oh..” the first nurse gasped and she walked quickly behind the front desk picking up the phone. “I hope he’ll answer he is in school now” she began to dial a number and held the phone to her ear as the second nurse smiled at Satoshi.



The girl blinked took the hankerchief and held it back to him without using it.
"Home?" She paused, "Oh! That's right! I should find one of those," she nodded

“What do you me-“ He froze in mid-speech as the girl wrapped her arms around his neck
"You. Who are you? I'm Nirane, it's a pleasure."

It took all of three seconds for him to realize, and in those three seconds first his eyes got wide, next his cheeks got red and his eyes spun out of focus. Then he regained control and pushed her off him

“WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING!!!!” He yelled mostly to the ground, trying to hide the blush that had appeared on his cheeks seconds before. What’s wrong with this girl suddenly appearing out of nowhere and then… He couldn’t even process the thought, or why he was getting so worked up over it, it was after all only a hug.

Takashi

The girl did this adorable thing, she had gotten all flustered and stuttered. Pulling her hand away and placing them on her own cheeks.

[/b]"I'm sorry. Whenever I hear that name I just...Oh, dear..." Laughing she stood up and held her hand out again, "Where are you from, Takashi?"[/b]

She’s so adorable Takashi couldn’t help but thinking, “From the North” he said. It wasn’t entirely a lie, after all he did fall from above that would imply that the human realm was below the Angel one. He still felt bad for anything he couldn’t say. His thoughts wandered to Satoshi Where did that kid get to?

“Miss Fuyona? You didn’t by any chance see a boy about yey tall” He motioned to someone slightly shorter than him [b][i]”with blonde hair, sorta spiky? on the top with blue eyes?” his description failed but he hoped she could help.

Nirane

Nirane smiled at how easily this boy blushed. She tilted his chin up and grinned. "How cute. Haven't you ever had a girl friend?" She leaned close to him, "Haven't you even kissed a girl?" Leaning back, she couldn't help but find this boy interesting. What boy didn't want Nirane to touch them. He was very strange.

Satoshi

Satoshi smiled back at the nurse. He was a little confused about what was going on.

Fuyona

Fuyona shook her head, "Sorry, but I haven't. I'm happy to help you look, though." She smiled at him again and picked up her bag. "Whenever you're ready."

The two nurses waited for the other line to pick up. It continued ringing, and reached the mail box.
“Hmm should I try again” the second nurse smiled aloof.

“The boy’s sister wakes up once every 28 days! Yes try again!” the first nurse said on edge.
The second nurse redialled and held the phone the both hers and the first nurses ear.




What nerve this girl has Kenta thought prying at the girls arm how is she so strong?
She tilted his chin up and grinned. "How cute. Haven't you ever had a girl friend?" She leaned close to him, "Haven't you even kissed a girl?" she added Leaning back

Kenta bit his tongue to control his emotions giving another tug as an outside noise startled him. Is that a phone his eyes darted to his bag which had somehow fallen It is my phone with an unknown surge of energy he pushed the girl off him bent down and pulled the phone out of his bag clicking the receiver.

”Hello?” He said with urgency. A gasp from the other end

“Kenta-kun! Hi how’re you are you in school”

”No…” He glared at the tall girl near him ”I missed my bus”

“Oh how sad, are you doing ok”

“yeah? Look is this call relevant to anything, cause I’m sorta busy you know trying to get to school”
The voice on the other side got quieter “he says he’s in school” it said

“NO! I said I’m trying to get to school! Who is this?!?” He demanded.

A click, Kenta stared at the phone and almost dropped it when the other voice spoke up “Kenta, this is Nurse Miiami I’m calling to inform you that she’s awake”

Kenta did a double take. “she?..REALLY!” It wasn’t a question but a statement.

“Yes, please find a way to the hospital ASAP, we will excuse you from your classes today.”

”Sure, definitely will do”

“see you soon Kenta, bye” the receiver clicked off.

Kenta dropped his arm holding tight to his phone, still pulsing with adrenaline. She’s awake! he thought. it’s been soo long




Fuyona shook her head, "Sorry, but I haven't. I'm happy to help you look, though." She smiled at him again and picked up her bag. "Whenever you're ready."

Takashi shrugged he knew she wouldn’t know, after all Satoshi had entered the portal before him he could be anywhere, it might take Angel magic to get him. Takashi hoped not. He smiled and stood back letting Fuyona take the lead.

“Why thank you ^^ “



Sanni continued wandering the streets thinking that all the rumours she heard of humans were true. They were not nice people, and they hated her were true for sure. As she wandered she seemed to melt through the crowds as she got closer to a lighter part of town. No one seemed to notice her, possibly too busy with their lives or perhaps they didn’t see her because she was only a ghost.

Nirane brushed her skirt off and smoothed her hair. He seemed a little off. What normal teenage boy had never kissed a girl? It was then and there that Nirane decided she would be his first.

Setting her hands on her hips, she tilte her head. "Who was it?" she smiled at him and glanced around.


Fuyona took Takashi's hand and smiled up at him, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Where did you last see him?"




Satoshi watched the two, mildly interested.

Kenta quickly gathered up his things and set off towards the direction of the hospital maybe it was a good thing I missed the bus huh? He then remembered the cause of him being late and turned towards the girl.

"Who was it?" she said in a sort of bossy annoying voice that sounded like she thought she owned the world.

“The hospital, I have to go there now, I’m sorry about my offer before, can you wait a little longer this is REALLY,” he emphasized the word, “really important.” He was in a hurry but also was being respectful. He waited for her to answer though he was itching to rush off to see his sister again. 28 Days it’s been 28 days

Takashi

Takashi had to admit this girl was interesting. Though he wasn’t stuck up he was used to people keeping a respectful distance between them, Fuyona took Takashi's hand and smiled up at him, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Where did you last see him?" She asked. Takashi stared at their hands thinking I can’t tell her where, that wouldn’t be right. I also can’t lie.
“We got separated on the trip over here, haven’t seen him since we were travelling” Takashi pondered his words for a moment It is the truth He smiled satisfied.

At the Hospital

The first nurse put down the phone. “Alright so where were we” she said looking at Satoshi smiling kindly. “yes did you have a question? Are you looking for someone?”

Nirane tilted her head. "I'm coming with, I lost my..." she paused, then smiled, "little sister and I need to find her." Brushing her hair over her shoulder she started walking towards the exit. Nirane stopped and turned to look at Kenta. Now that she thought about it, Kanni could be lost for awhile. Setting her hands on her hips, she ran her hands through her hair, looking at Kenta, she smiled absently. Where in the world could her little failure be, anyway?


Fuyona tilted her head, noticing Takashi looking at their hands. Starting to pull away, "Oh, I'm sorry." She smiled apologetically, "Sometimes I forget that not everyone wants their hand held." Blinking at him, she shook her head slightly. If she had a sibling, she'd watch them like a hawk, "Well, we could check the playground, the grocery store, library, toy shop, or hospital." Fuyona looked up at Takashi.

Satoshi smiled cheerfully, "Is there anyone I can help?"

Kenta

Nirane tilted her head. "I'm coming with, I lost my..." she paused, then smiled, "little sister and I need to find her." Kenta’s eyes widened. She has a sister too? he thought.

“Oh! Alright…”. The girl brushed her hair over her shoulder as she start
ed walking, then and turned to look at Kenta. Kenta blinked and continued walking pretending to be rummaging through his bag as he studied her. she seems to do that hip thing a lot he noticed. He continued walking till he passed her.

“Kenta he said without turning or slowing.

Takashi

Fuyona pulled her hand away, "Oh, I'm sorry." She smiled apologetically, "Sometimes I forget that not everyone wants their hand held."
” Oh it’s alright ^^ Do you have any siblings yourself Miss Fuyona?” Takashi asked.

The girl however had spoken at the same moment "Well, we could check the playground, the grocery store, library, toy shop, or hospital." Takashi froze feeling bad for having “interrupted” her. He rubbed his head with the back of his hand.
”Oh sounds great, so long as it’s not in any inconvenience to you” He smiled.

At the hospital

Satoshi smiled cheerfully, "Is there anyone I can help?"

The nurses looked surprised. “why are you an entertainer?” the second nurse asked and then branched off into a story. The first nurse shook her head then smiled brightly at Satoshi.
“the children’s ward is always looking for someone cheerful to brighten their day, you could pay them a visit”

Nirane grinned at Kenta and walked beside him, "You're short." she accused. He wasn't bad looking. But he wasn't her type. Sighing, Nirane smiled and shook her head. He could still be fun to mess with, since he'd never been with a girl. It was kind of cute, his reactions...What was she thinking? She bumped into Kenta and blinked, realizing she hadn't been paying attention. "Sorry," she murmured.

Fuyona laughed lightly, "I don't have any siblings," she then realized how empty her hand was. Sighing, she looked back up at Takashi, "I didn't have anything planned, so it's no problem," He smiled. A wonderful smile, she decided. Fuyona could feel heat rising to her cheeks as she realized she'd been staring. Where have I seen that smile before?

Satoshi clasped his hands together. How easy this whole Earth thing was! "That's sounds like fun! Let's go~" He cheered.

The girl was fast in a moment after he told her his name she was right beside him, "You're short." she accused.
Kenta’s eyes got wide and he automatically tried to look taller he walked ahead faster, on tip toes looking very silly and flustered. He was concentrating on walking and balancing when she bumped into him

"Sorry," she murmured. yeah right you did that on purpose he thought. she’s weird, what’s wrong with her he continued on up to the hospital and went in.



Fuyona laughed lightly, "I don't have any siblings…I didn't have anything planned, so it's no problem," she said.

“Alright then, onward?” Takashi laughed and smiled at her again looking around. Earth sure is pretty he was going to like it here, but he needed to find Satoshi.



Satoshi clasped his hands together. How easy this whole Earth thing was! "That's sounds like fun! Let's go~" He cheered.

The first nurse led him off towards the children’s ward she stopped by the doorway. “now this is the incurable injuries ward, all the children here have diseases or injuries that there is no cure for, don’t tell them that please make what’s left of their lives happy” she frowned and continued down the hall.

Almost immediately a voice from inside called “Onii-chan whatcha doin? Wanna pway?”

Nirane yawned, stretching her arms above her head. "Kenta..." It was a nice name. Not as nice as Nirane, but still. She couldn't help but watch him, he was just so interesting. "How old are you?" “hmm?” he asked when she suddenly ran a hand through his hair, Kenta almost collided with the door in shock.

"How old are you?" she asked as if that was the normal thing to do. Where the heck is this girl from he thought flustered again.

“Why are you asking so many questions” he asked irritated walking up to the front desk


Takashi continued to walk following Fuyona when she said Fuyona looked at Takashi. She smiled back at him. "I know a boy named Takashi,"

A sudden pang in his head.Takashi froze in midstep. But then the pain was gone his vision clear. He continued walking slightly confused.

”so where to first?



Satoshi blinked. "So cute~" He walked into the room.

A child held out a tiny hand to Satoshi calling him onii-chan the child was burned halfway across his body and face. He smiled brightly up at Satoshi as if he didn’t know he was burned, holding out his hand.

Nirane smiled."Because I want to know you. And besides, I'm not asking personal questions like what size pants you wear. I just want to know how old you are. I'm...16." Glancing at the person behind the counter, she narrowed her eyes slightly, and looked back at Kenta, then around the building, "It's awfully clean here." A little too clean. Eerily clean. It was sickening. Walking around the room, she shook her head. Earth was weird. She glanced back at Kenta, shaking her head slightly. He was weird, too.


Fuyona blinked and looked at Takashi, "Everything alright?" Shaking her head, she continued walking when he did. It was very bright out today. That was good, it made everything seem more cheerful and light. She liked days like this. It was on a day like this....
Fuyona blinked, staring back up the tree, a stabbing pain in her ankle was all she could feel, though.


Satoshi blinked and smiled back, taking the boy's hand without delay. With the child, he walked in the room and looked at the other children, smiling.

Kenta

Nirane smiled."Because I want to know you. And besides, I'm not asking personal questions like what size pants you wear. I just want to know how old you are. I'm...16." Kenta was a bit distracted.

“I’m here to see Kanni Ichiyou, I’m her brother Kenta Ichiyou” he told the lady at the counter. Then turned to Nirane No way this girl is younger? he still thought she was weird but told her anyways.

“You wouldn’t believe my age if I told you, you probably think I’m an elementary schooler huh?” He turned back to the counter where the nurse was saying.

“Alright Childrens ward room 13” Kenta had set off walking as Nirane mentioned

"It's awfully clean here."

“That’s because It’s a hospital it has to be sanitary” he rolled his eyes continuing down the hall, trying to remain calm.

Takashi

Fuyona blinked and looked at Takashi, "Everything alright?" Shaking her head, she continued walking

“yes yes I’m fine ^^ I think that fall just made me quite a bit dizzy” he smiled and followed her . “So where to first?

Kanni

Satoshi blinked and smiled back, taking the boy's hand without delay. With the child, he walked in the room and looked at the other children, smiling.

The room brightened as soon as Satoshi entered as if he brought light itself into their dreary lives.
The room was wide and covered in toys and children’s drawings on the walls. Around it were many doors, each belonging to a different child with a different disease one stood open, the light from it pouring onto Satoshi’s face, meant to capture attention.

Nirane blinked and followed Kenta. "If I had thought you were an elementary schooler, I would have acted different." She caught up with him and poked his arm, "So how old are you?" She thought about it. He was probably younger. Maybe 15. He was kinda short...Hm. God, this place was nasty clean. It gave her a headache. She was actually getting a little light headed from it. Nirane stopped in the hallway for a second and sat down in a chair, setting her hand on her head. The smell of cleaners and medicine. That was it.


Fuyona shrugged. "Where do you think he would go? It's hard for me to decide when I've never met him," she looked around. Town seemed pretty busy. Which was kind of strange, really. Fuyona's phone rang. She jumped and searched her bag frantically for it before finally pressing it against her ear.
"Hello?"
"Fuyona." Fuyona bit her lip, closing her eyes for a second before answering.
"Hi dad," she said quietly.
"We'll be sending your allowance and budget money today. If it isn't there by tomorrow night, let me now." The line went dead as Fuyona cringed a little and placed it back into her bag. For whatever reason, she always expected an I love you at the end, and was always disappointed when there wasn't one. She shook her head and smiled at how stupid she could be.


Satoshi looked around and walked over to look at some of the drawings.
"You're all so good at drawing!" He exclaimed.

Kenta blinked, most people mistook him as super young due to his height, but she didn’t she was odd. He looked at the place she poked. Turning to answer when he noticed she wasn’t there anymore. He looked around and then backtracked through the hall finding her sitting in a chair in the hallway.
“hey? You ok?” he asked and knelt near her, he knew he was delaying seeing his sister, which he didn’t want but Nirane needed attention at the moment more. Kenta was too nice to ignore someone in need.



Fuyona shrugged. "Where do you think he would go? It's hard for me to decide when I've never met him," she looked around. Takashi had no idea where all this time he had been thinking of where Satoshi could have landed not where he’d go. Satoshi, being his student and Takashi the mentor should know where Satoshi would go. Then Fuyona’s phone rang.
Takashi didn’t listen in but he could read the upset expression on her face.
”Is everything alright? he asked looking into her face as she hung up the phone. Satoshi likes to have fun so a park or arcade but he also likes to help people that would be a hospital I’ll go for fun first


A pretty voice was coming from the open door, pretty but sad.

Nirane jumped, a little surprised at Kenta, kneeling near her. She blinked and set her hand on his head, smiling, "I'm fine, just a little lightheaded," she lifted her hand and motioned down the hall, "I'm fine. You should go," she smiled again before running her hand through her hair and leaning back against the seat. She really should find Sanni if she wanted to get back home. Sanni was generally a hopeless case, so she could be here for awhile...What was wrong with the council anyway? Sanni should just be shipped off to be an Angel, stupid girl was so sweet. Nirane, though, wasn't a perfect demon either, but she was still better than Sanni. And prettier at that.


Fuyona looked at Takashi and smiled cheerfully, "Yes, everything's fine. I'm fine." The latter comment was more for Fuyona than anything else. She was used to it. Fuyona felt the need to put on a happy mask. It made her feel safe. Strange as that was.
"So, where are we headed?"


Satoshi blinked and followed the voice into the little room.
"Hello?" He called out carefully.

Nirane jumped, a little surprised at Kenta, kneeling near her. She blinked and set her hand on his head, smiling, "I'm fine, just a little lightheaded," Kenta didn’t trust she was ok, though he wasn’t a doctor or even training to be one, he had still been in and out of this hospital countless times. He could tell she wasn’t ok. She lifted her hand and pointed down the hall saying, "I'm fine. You should go," she smiled again before running her hand through her hair and leaning back against the seat.
Kenta glanced down the hall I’m sorry Kanni he plopped down into the seat next to her.
“I can wait..” he said leaning forward in the chair placing his elbows on his knees and his chin in his palms looking up at her.



Fuyona looked at Takashi and smiled cheerfully, "Yes, everything's fine. I'm fine."
Takashi smiled hoping she was really fine, you could never tell with humans, and Angels didn’t lie.
"So, where are we headed?" Fuyona asked bringing Takashi back to the present thought, Satoshi.
” Well he likes to have fun so I’m guessing an arcade or park? Perhaps”


Satoshi blinked and followed the voice into the little room.
"Hello?" He called out carefully.
”hello!~” a soft voice answered back. It was musical itself as if she were singing the greating, the room gave off so much light but no lights were on, as if the girl and her voice resonated that light he saw.

Nirane blinked at him. He was so strange compared to every other guy Nirane had ever met.
"It's not that big of a deal," Nirane paused. He was so....cute. In a puppy dog kind of way. She just looked at him then. Studying him. Kenta. Nirane blinked again. There was something about him that she couldn't put her finger on. She closed her eyes for a second, all of a sudden dizzy. Nirane leaned forward, placing her head in her hands. Stupid Earth.


Fuyona nodded, smiling and started to walk towards the nearest park, which wasn't actually all that near. A few blocks. She sighed. Swinging her arms she walked slightly ahead of Takashi, looking around and smiling at everyone they passed, occasionally exchanging greetings.


Satoshi blinked and stared at her. "I'm Satoshi," the words almost seemed dull and blurred compared to her melodic voice, "Who are you?" He said, this time softer.

Kenta

"It's not that big of a deal," Nirane said. Kenta was thinking the same thing. Why was he here, sitting here in this chair by some girl he just met when his sister needed him, who knew how long she’d be awake. Kenta wasn’t willing to wait a whole other 28 days just to see his sisters smile, hear her sweet voice, she could sing he wonderered if she would. To watch all the other children gather around her as if she were their happiness. Kenta smiled thinking of it. As Nirane leaned forward, placing her head in her hands. Kenta looked up at her again and lifted a hand ligthly patting her back.

Takashi

That girl is adorable Takashi thought as he watched her walk ahead. She had a sweet childish air about her, but also seemed like she had been through a lot in life. He wondered at her story, Smiling at the crowds in the park as they passed. The park was pretty but not as much as in the Angel parks.

Kanni

Satoshi blinked and stared at her. "I'm Satoshi,...Who are you?"
She smiled again her eyes far off as if she could see more than appeared to be, her long blue hair fell in curtains over her pale shoulders, but her eyes contrasted her innocent demeanor. They were blood red and glowing. They didn't seem to fit her at all. Still she smiled as if she was ignorant to the eye color. However she didn't answer his question only asking another.
"You're not you are you? her voice was still musical but now mixed with an air of mystery.
